I absolutely love my hair EVERYTIME I walk out the door. I am so impressed with her attention to detail. She always knows exactly what I want even when I don't know what I want. She has always been understanding and been able to get me hair back to looking fresh, bright, and healthy. When quarantine was in session I BLACK box dyed my hair (yeah, I know). then continued to bleach it with developer and baking soda...(as if you thought it couldn't get worse). Sadie truly saved my hair!!! I don't know exactly what she does but, let me tell you the girl is talented! She is so sweet, friendly, and I enjoy my time at the salon. 10/10.

Per a deal I came back to try out a highlight with Jennyfer and it is by FAR the best I've ever had! She is super knowledgeable and friendly. I highly highly recommend her! Whether you've never done highlights/color before or you have and want to improve on it, she is your woman! The results are so natural looking! In addition to this service they offer SO MUCH more! They have one of the most talented nail design artists I have EVER seen. Her name is Stephanie. She can do the most amazing free hand designs. I saw a picture of the Grinch she did, first try, and her own nails were stunning. She did a nice polish change for me that made my nails look like a sparkly winter wonderland! There is a huge boutique retail as well as salon products. I also had a nice eye brow wax. From the moment I walked in for my appointment every stylist that walked by asked if I had been helped. They have complimentary beverages while you wait. Just great all around service! Please check them out!

I have gone to The Color Room for years because of the owner, Shiela Arsenault. She listens and…read moregives excellent feedback as to how best accomplish the look I want. Every single time, I walk out feeling completely satisfied and loving everything done. As I sit in the salon, I hear pleasant conversations, stylists actually listening to their clients needs and wishes, and honest feedback. They are not going to try to just "make the sale" but tell you the honest truth so that you are both satisfied and get the look you want. Today I got a Brazillian Blowout from Allison Hackett. I have extremely thick and frizzy hair. Sheila had given me the perfect cut after letting my hair grow. We cut over 12" off. Allison did the Brazilian Blowout and I started to cry with joy - actual tears of joy! Never has my hair looked or felt this great, styled so easy and just looked amazing. I can leave it straight or allow the curl to come out and be happy with both! I cannot stop smiling! The Color Room is not just a salon - it's a family. They listen, they care, they want what is best for YOU, not just what helps pay the bills. I cannot imagine going anywhere else!

Although I like the 'pandemic roots' trend, I was more than ready to have my color done and Chelsea always does the best job! Many things changed at the salon and understandably so. First of all, they were able to use the lock down time to make some serious renovations and the salon is looking refreshed and airy! I love the new look, the stations are positioned differently and a much brighter color scheme makes it feel much bigger. Don't worry though, the owl leitmotif is still present ;) Many safety precautions are in place, so that we can all feel safe. The human density limits are strictly followed and everyone is required to wear a mask. I was always very confident in this Salon's sanitation practices, but now it is enforced to an even higher standard. They only work by appointment now, so get yours while you can! Beware that they cannot do any blowouts, so you can request a dry cut, otherwise you will need to leave with your hair wet. I was happy they didn't add any surcharge for extra sanitation, but since you don't get the blowout it feels more fair. Some advice: wear a disposable surgical mask when you have your color done, because the ear loops might get messy and might damage your fancy cloth mask. Do not bring any chunky handbags or food in, help keep everything clean. Make sure you know the new COVID-19 drill posted on their website and fill the waiver online. Other than that, relax and enjoy your hair being done! We waited so long for that! Yaaay!
