I've come here for nearly 20 years. The prices have increased significantly to the point where I can go to a full-service salon and pay the same price. (Cut 22.95 + color 60 = 82.95 at Supercuts; price at a salon, 85). Moreover, I make an appointment every time I visit, and they never start my haircut until 20-30 minutes after the appointment time. No one ever apologizes for the wait either. This place used to be packed with customers. But, it no longer is. ​This is by far my favorite Supercuts and my go-to place for looking my best. As a hair salon, you can't find anything fancy but what you will find is a great value. Typical haircuts are $16.95 and they do allow same day call ahead which is great considering we are all on some type of a schedule.   My only complaint is the parking situation as the lot is limited and I have to park literally around the corner and sometimes the walk can be a chore. Despite that, no other complaints. If you do come, my favorite stylist are Marisol or Keith. They both are the best in my opinion. read more

I was just looking for a quick and easy trim and save some money so after being assured women come here all the time I decided to give it a chance. But after realizing the woman who did my hair was actually hurrying through my hair so she could cut her friend's hair who was waiting impatiently right next to me, I knew coming here was a mistake. Not only did she not blow dry my hair when she finished so I left with my hair wet, I asked for long layers and she ended up cutting it straight across with choppy sections and random long pieces in the front (see picture) . Honestly, I love this Supercuts. I've lived in Dallas for two years and it's the only place I've ever gotten my haircut since we moved here. Granted, I'm a low-maintenance gal. I don't wear makeup, I own three pairs of shoes, and I don't like to spend more than $16 for a decent haircut. Fortunately, I don't have to at this Supercuts. Sure, there are some flaws. They don't take appointments so wait times can be tough, but if you call ahead you can put your name on the list and they usually let you know exactly when you can come in to avoid a long wait. Today I called at 11 and they told me that the next available time was 11:40. I put my name on the list, hung out at home for thirty minutes, arrived promptly at 11:40, and I was in the chair getting that black apron wrapped around my neck at 11:45. I don't think I've ever had the same stylist twice, but everyone I've had has been friendly and very good at what they do. I've never left this location unsatisfied with my cut. Today I came in wanting a bit of a change from my regular straight, simple, just-past-the-shoulders hair. I showed Mario a few pictures of what I was thinking of and he said it was no problem. He was meticulous and professional, and 45 minutes later I left with a short stacked bob, feeling light and awesome, all for only $16 plus tip. I've been getting my hair cut at SuperCuts for almost a year now and let me tell you, this is no ordinary "chain salon." The staff are professionals and know their craft! The atmosphere is upscale and well designed and the place is VERY popular (call ahead). My only wish is that they would allow appointments for their stylists in addition to walk-ins. Jake is my favorite stylist (read: only person I let touch my hair) and often times I'll wait 30 mins to an hour for him despite having my name on 'the list' 30 minutes before I arrive. After several months, I decided to return to this Supercuts location. The price has increased from $16.95 to $18.95, but the quality of the cut does not justify the price. I went through what I wanted, very simple trim my hair to sit at my shoulder, no layers, no texture, and thin my hair out a little bit to take off some of the weight. There was cutting and more cutting and the mentioning of not being able to cut my hair on one side the same as the other. I was a little worried on how my hair would look at the end, and it turns out I had every reason to be! At the end of all the cutting, my hair was shorter than what I asked for (about an inch to inch and half above my shoulder). I had specifically asked for shoulder length so I could still wear my hair up when I worked out. There was no blow dry so I could see the full effect/end result of the haircut. I was handed the mirror, shown short wet hair, and ushered to check out. Nothing I could do or say about the length because the hair was gone. I went home to see the damage, a terrible, uneven cut, not the same length in places, uneven from one side of my face to the next, etc., etc. It's pretty awful and humiliating knowing that I paid for this and I gave a $5 tip. Never again!! I guess you get what you pay for, but nevertheless completely disappointing because this should have been a super simple haircut. I will not be returning. read more

Cheap haircuts. You get what you pay for, right? Not here. As a guy with a haircut that anyone can cut, I've never wanted to pay much for a haircut. Luckily, I ran into this place in the "gayborhood," where many of the male stylists are gay. I hate to stereotype, but the gay stylists do a much better job than I have previously experienced at other Supercuts. Every now and then, my haircut isn't as great as it is sometimes. It's never terrible, by any means, but my hair grows fast so it's no problem. Tips: Call ahead and let them know you are coming in ahead of time. Otherwise you will be waiting for 30 minutes to an hour. There's also a student discount of $3 with a student ID. read more

It has been hit or miss with stylist, but he finally landed on a solid one. Larry took my husbands hair and did magic with it! So much in fact that I even had him cut my hair! I haven't had anyone cut my hair in years! I do all of my own styling and cutting. I felt like I got a full makeover from Jonathan Van Ness! He took his time cutting my hair and creating a new style.
