This is the worst haircut I have ever received. I am crying because it's so bad. I specifically asked to leave my hair on top longer and taper the back of my hairline. The stylist chopped off all of my hair, said she didn't have the equipment to taper, then left a visible line on the back of my head, unblended. I have never in my life left a bad review. When my kids are visiting, I like to take of certain things for them. Haircuts tend to fall in that category. Sp for my son, his hair grows super-fast like mine and I DO NOT want him looking like a girl, so he needs to get haircuts very frequently. I was pleasantly surprised to get a coupon in the mail announcing the opening of this Supercuts, and decided to stop in today. It was WAY busy, more so than I expected for a new place, however, the staff seemed to be all experienced transfers from another store, and were all very experienced and super friendly and moved the crowd fast. Jessica was very patient with my 5 year old son and she did a great job. I look forward to going again, the location is great. I will probably go in between my regular cuts just for a little maintenance trim here and there. The waiting area is small, so I recommend to call ahead and add your name to the wait list. Don't believe the website regarding wait times, they don't seem to take walk-ins anymore. I tried going on a relatively quite wednesday morning when the website said to expect a 2 min wait. Instead I was told the next available appointment was in about 1 hour. Haircuts there are okay, nothing specially but generally fairly quick and efficient. But now when they no longer accept walk-ins it's definitely less convenient. read more

I came for a bangs cut and trim, eyebrow and lip wax. The good: Eyebrows. The middling: My hair/bangs. Needs improvement: The upper lip. I had a super green hairstylist, very young probably knows how to do her own hair better than she knows how to cut hair. She listened to what I wanted tho, gave feedback on the pictures I presented, tried really hard. In a couple of years she will probably be a very good hairstylist. My bangs definitely look a little weird right now, I'm gonna have to give them a few weeks. I do wish she had cut them heavier though, cause my bangs will take a lot of styling to get them to fall on my forehead the way I want them. My layers are still pretty uneven, one side is longer than the other. I wish she had been able to fix those too but again, like I said she was very green and Supercuts it's cheap, so I'll live. Eyebrows is where this young one excelled. Super gentle touch, precise, my brows look awesome! I got stubbornly aggressive hairs on my upper lip that cannot be gently coaxed into abandoning their domain and this gal struggled to wax me. She was too gentle, didn't pull hard enough or pull my skin taut. The wax kept peeling off me instead of ripping the hair out. She had to ask her boss to help. The problem is that the only part the boss waxed was the corners of my upper lip where my lady stache is at my Frida Kahloiest. They didn't wax my actual upper lip and I still have hair there. I couldn't tell at the time by looking cause the hair was slicked down but when I got home I could still pull the hair there. So #fail. I'm gonna have to bleach it. Will stick with getting threaded. read more

I've been going to Supercuts for a quick, easy, and inexpensive haircut for several months now. Each time I've went was during the COVID era. They follow safety protocols very well - one (maybe two) people getting a haircut at a time with a lot of spacing in between. Gloves and masks are always worn, machinery is sprayed with a disinfectant, etc. i definitely felt very safe during my haircut. Regarding the haircut itself, I've had a different person cut my hair each time, each leaving me with varying levels of content. Sometimes I've had to fix an uneven side with a buzzer when I got home, other times I was left with many awkward and long strands of hair, but I was finally very happy with this one cut. The best stylist (by far) for a military style mid-fade haircut is Tyler E. She asked what I wanted and got to work immediately. She took her time, but worked efficiently, and paid very close attention to every strand. She confirmed what I wanted to do with my hair on the top/front, and when I said I wanted it a certain way, she offered an alternative way because of the way she thought it would look. Needless to say, she knew the haircut I wanted better than I did myself. I've never left a haircut wanting to immediately show it off to friends and family until this day. Normally, scheduling is always a problem here. The stylist move at their own pace and chat between clients, not caring how many people are waiting. With COVID-19 it's even worse because now you have to wait outside. Out of site, out of mind. Last week, I gave up waiting (outside in the rain) and left. Today I was going by. The App says zero wait time and two stylists available. I stop in, but "They were booked the rest of the night" even though there were no customers and two stylists chatting away. I've been here twice, on weekends, which I assume is their busiest time. Both times I came in without an appointment, and walked out out less than 30 minutes later. Disclaimer- I have fairly low maintenance hair needs- shoulder length, nice angle in the front and some layers in the back. But haircuts are always a gamble. I usually go to some expensive salon and consistently leave feeling disappointed and ripped off. I figured I might as well go to Supercuts and feel disappointed, but not ripped off. I was SO pleasantly surprised! This was so painless and FAST, and I actually liked the haircut. My hairdresser's name was Pov and I had her both times, and she was great. First of all, she didn't force the awkward small talk- That is SUCH a relief, I tipped her extra just for that :) She gave me a really NICE haircut! It was extra fast and cheap since I didn't have to get a shampoo (washed it that morning). I used that saved money to tip extra well and to buy myself some nice product- such a bargain, I'll definitely be back. read more

I walked in with my 17 year old son the other day to get his hair cut. He sat down and didn't say much about HOW he wanted his hair cut (a teaching moment, no doubt) and got the back of his head shaved (a 1 on the clippers). I immediately went over and spoke to the woman cutting his hair and CONFIRMED WITH MY SON IN FRONT OF THE CUTTER that he wanted the front left longer, as he did not was that "new recruit" look. This person-and I won't call her a hairdresser- proceeded to SHAVE THE REST OF HIS HEAD. To say I was angry is an understatement. She did the polar opposite of what I (and my son) had asked for. She did the thing that has kept me away from hairdressers in general- she did what SHE wanted to do, not what she was asked. I'm not sure if she was stupid, inept, or just malicious (and frankly THIS is the vibe I got from her) but we will NOT be back. Ever. Thankfully, my son didn't care much and his hair grows incredibly fast, but I would NEVER EVER consider stepping foot in that place if it were MY hair. read more

Pov is great and I have had two very nice cuts with her. She remembered me the second time, probably six months after the first cut. Pov doesn't push the products and asked a ton of questions about my lifestyle and what I do to my hair, so I walked out with a great, easy cut for my busy life. The only bummer is that the haircuts are starting to get pricey for a wash, cut and blow dry and pricing at different franchises seems to vary. I have paid between 27 and 47 for a cut! read more

So...I went in here just to Walk In, really needed a trim to get rid of my split ends. When I walked in, the wait was fair, it was 3 of the ladies If I can recall correctly...so I got taken care of and greeted but that was the only positive thing about this place. Jess was my hair dresser, she basically kept calling me Elisa (not that she really cared what my real name was) and then after my 'wash' start cutting...her eyes were wandering around, always looking elsewhere but the ONLY thing in front of her which was my hair. I told her to trim the split ends, I get home...washed my hair and guess what....My Split ENDS were still there. Seriously!? So annoying, she was also pretty anti social toward me at least. My roommate who is also a hair dresser noticed my hair was uneven. I'm seriously pissed off...Never going back here again. 1. Uneven hair -not cool... 2. my SPLIT ENDS, still split...-- also, not cool. Should just do it myself, I bet I could do a better job! Go-- I guess make your own decision! read more

I've been to Supercuts a hundred times, and I know what to expect: moderately experienced stylists, a quick in-and-out, and a good price. This location was good about getting my name in while I ran an errand, and when I came back I only waited 5 minutes to sit down. Unfortunately, the most important part of a haircut is... the haircut. The stylist did not listen well to my instructions and even admitted after making a severe mistake that "she didn't understand what I wanted". I'm left with a haircut that makes me self-conscious and will take several weeks to get back to a point where I feel good about it. So the two-star rating is not to say that this place is a lost cause-- but a 4.5/5 rating is too high and customers should not think they are guaranteed to receive haircut satisfaction when visiting. Pretty abysmal. The person who cut my hair was apparently a student and still in practice. I asked for a half inch trim and some extra layers, and what I got was 4 inches lopped off in INCREMENTS of half inches, for over an hour. I came out to the street to notice I got a parking ticket because my haircut took so long. It's going to be months before my hair grows back, and in the interim I looked like a crazed Chia Pet. read more

I'm about the easiest person to please when it comes to a haircut, so take this with caution. Supercuts are never '5 star' salons, but they are relatively inexpensive and quick (exactly what I need). I called about an hour before hand to make an appointment (which everyone should do so you don't have to wait for other people) and they took me right up. The woman cutting my hair was friendly and was definitely concentrating on what she was doing, which was great. The place was clean and I was able to use a coupon for %15 off. The haircuts are fine, what one would expect from a Supercuts. Just know that whatever time the app tells you is available, know you'll wait an extra half hour. During your wait you'll realize the reason for the backup is because the staff shows no sign whatsoever of trying to move the line along. They'll happily take 10 minutes between customers sweeping, going back and forth from the back, who knows what they're doing other than not respecting their customers' time. They're barely apologetic and couldn't care less. This has happened several times in a row now, never going back. read more

I've gone here a few times before and they have decreased in good service every time. Today I went in for a lip/brow wax. The guy who usually does the front desk did the wax and he was not the best. I had to tell him where to wax and he resorted to plucking with tweezers. The wax was a total of $20 for 35 minutes. Too long. Too much money. read more

I'm lucky that my hair grows so fast because the haircut I got here was an absolute joke. Everything was going well until I asked the lady to trim my sideburns so they were even. Trim usually means just taking a small amount off so they look square and even. Apparently to her this meant take my sideburns off completely so that I had a 90 Degree angle going up the side of my head. Now I have giant patches on the side of my head that are half the length of the rest of my hair. Needless to say I did not leave a tip as she did not deserve one. I walked in, waited to check in. Someone was sitting down that had not checked in yet. I did the decent thing and let them check in before me. They said about 20 to 30 minutes. I went to grab something at cvs and came back. Waited another 30 minutes after I got back. Then when they finished with the person o let check in before me they took some guy that walked in 20 minutes after I got back. And said sorry he checked in for a 12:30. I am still waiting. Over an hour wait. Only 2 people working here. I wouldn't suggest coming here unless you are really fed up with your hair and just need it shorter ASAP and don't care too much what it looks like because you know your hair grows like a weed. read more

I came here when I had an hour to spare in between errands a few days before running the marathon, needing a trim so my hair wasn't touching my neck for 26.2 miles. How you mess up a 1" trim on pin straight, untreated, slightly longer than shoulder length hair is beyond me, but it happened. She was chatting and distracted the entire time, and when she was finished I asked if she was going to hold strands from both sides of my hair up against each other to make sure it was even, she laughed and said, "Oh yeah, duh!" They were not even. She made a few more snips but over the next day or so, I noticed so many randomly long, untrimmed strands and tried to fix them myself. A few weeks later, I went to my real hairdresser and she was appalled without me even telling her that I'd cheated on her. No one else noticed because no one else studies my hair that closely, but she made me promise never to go back to Supercuts again. Don't worry, I won't. read more

I have taken my 3 year old boy here 3 times and my 18 month old daughter here for her first hair cut ever. Francesca and Jessica cut their hair and I have nothing but praise for them! I don't want anything fancy -- I just want my slightly shy & wiggly kids to get good hair cuts. The stylists are so sweet and patient with them (and their nervous mother), and have given them good hair cuts, according to what I've asked for and checking with me during the cut. Every time we've visited it isn't overly crowded, so the kids get the attention they demand. The price is right and their hours are great. For what I'm looking for, this is perfect! And to make it even better, I take my kids to Party Favors down the street for a sweet treat after the cut. I'm directly comparing this to SnipIts on Route 9 which I find horrible.
