When I arrived, Roxann greeted me and took me to her chair. I was able to get a good haircut with no wait! Roxann was pleasant and provided great customer service. I was in and out in under 30 mins. I've been a regular customer here for a while but no longer. The manager is Deonna and on two recent appointments with her, scheduled well in advance, she has chosen not to be at the shop with no notification to me. Today I arrived on time and she wasn't there. I waited 20 minutes past my appointment time. Finally someone from the shop called her. I was told she was "picking up food" and would be another 20 minutes. I make appointments for a reason. It would be different if she was there and a bit behind, but to not be there and choosing to pick up food while I wait, is inexcusable. As the manager of that facility I wonder if she requires the others in the shop to honor appointment times or is it OK for them to wander in whenever and waste their customers' time. read more

I honestly received the worst hair cut imaginable at this place. The lady that cut my hair smelled like cigarettes and smacked her gum loudly. (I should have just walked out right there). She had a horrible attitude and kept checking her watch for messages. Maybe she was having a bad day but took it out on my hair. I told her i wanted it longer than my shoulders, long layers and curtain bangs. She cut my hair shorter than my shoulders the layers are awful and for the curtain band she just flipped my hair over to the other side. The comments I have received on my hair are "you paid for that?" "Looks like they cut it with a butter knife" and my favorite "im just so sorry but it will grow back" My hair isnt even the same length on each side of my head. Run and never come here for a hair cut unless your into being butchered and embarrassed. read more

I'll be honest; haircut options are pretty slim in Bastrop. I'm in the military so I have to get a haircut on a regular basis. I'm not a high n tight guy so I'll stop you there. I like a good simple gentleman's haircut. I've tried just about everywhere locally and I always find myself going back to this Supercuts. I give them 3 stars for consistency reasons. I've walked out disappointed a few times and it just depends on who's working that day. End state: if there was a better option I'd go to it but driving to Austin for a haircut every other week isn't how I choose to play my cards. read more

I pulled in on my way to the airport hoping by chance I would not have to wait and could get in and out quickly. Yolanda (I think) was able to cut my hair and I was back out the door in about 20 minutes. My stylist was rude ( even when she found out that I have rewards with them). She did not cut my hair the way I asked and it was to late to stop her. At the end I still paid for it , but I told her that I was rewards and that I had a coupon. She would not accept it and charged me full price. I did not leave a tip. So three times I go in and wait 30 minutes. Employee says "sign in on li e...it will be quicker and you wont wait as long. So I go and sign in online at 5:15 and select 6:00 as my arrival. I've been going to this Super Cuts for about 3 years now. Prior to my first visit I read some reviews and Ashely was recommended several times. I wasn't disappointed. She listens to what I want, offers suggestions and I leave happy. The price is more than reasonable and if I have to wait, it's usually a reasonable amount of time. If it's going to be a long wait, they tell me up front and I can come back later or another day. I watch the other stylists while I'm waiting and they all do beautiful work. Went in for a quick trim before a vacation. The wait was very shot, so that was a positive. Unfortunately the girl who cut my hair, Erin, is in desperate need of additional training. She completely butchered my hair. She did not even make an attempt to blend the layers that were cut into my hair already, just chopped it and left it. And there was a huge hair tag in one of the layers. It looks terrible and now I have to rush elsewhere before I leave town. Never again!! My 8 year old niece could have done a better job. read more

I went in today to get a simple haircut, normally i have Ashley cut my hair and she was not there, so i went to the girl named arcely, BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY HAIR LIFE, first i cannot see without my glasses and second when i first sat down i told her how i wanted it, i use clippers on the side #3 and sissors on the top, well she started with the clippers and then the clippers stopped and she used the sissors on top and she asked if it was going to be short enough, i said a little shorter and she said finger length and i said yes, remember i cannot see anything, well when she was done and i put my glasses on, i was horrified by what i saw (sometimes you get peaks and valleys easy to fix) No i had MOUNTAINS AND VALLEYS, it was a total mess and she used clippers on the top but it got worse and she tryed to tell me that she did not use the clippers, i was so upset, the manager had to come cut my hair even shorter to make it look even, i now have a buzz, not anything that i went in for, I WILL NEVER BE BACK AGAIN, NOW I SEE WHY THEIR BUSINESS HAS DROPPED. I am having to give it 1 star but they get none. read more

Took my sons in for a haircut 4/11/15, one stylist did an excellent job on my older sons hair (which was very long and thick). The other stylist, not so much. She shaved 3/4 of my sons head with a zero guard and left him looking like he was about to be shipped off over seas! I told her to fade up from a zero, but she gave him the cut that she wanted, and then tried to make me think it looked nice! Was not comfortable paying 15.00 for her to butcher his hair. read more

Not only did the woman that cut my hair give me a Gumby head,and sprouts that would make a Gardner giddy...another stylist messed my kids head up as well. I have pics but that's not what this one is for. This review is for the district manager from San Antonio that told me she'd do what was needed to rectify this ...these situations ...now considering two cuts at $15 plus $5 tip each ....then another $40 together our heads leveled out somewhere where they do know how to cut hair. I'm out $80 and a whole day of driving and fixing. She promised first to send coupons for free cuts when it was my head but after what they did to my kid too I didn't want anymore haircuts from this place. So instead of making it right...she chooses toignore my emails or texts to her contact resources.....if I was the owner, I'd be concerned about what these women are doing to her established long time business in such a small town ...but that's just me.
