We've been going here for 2 years for my son's haircuts and never experienced this. This was the worst haircut experience we've ever had. I showed Iris, pictures of my son's previous haircuts and explained that we wanted the same style, just slightly longer on top. We specifically mentioned keeping it at eyebrow length if not LONGER than that, but even while wet, it was cut above his eyebrows. We provided polite feedback during the haircut, but she did not receive it well and responded with noticeable attitude. She was not polite or receptive. My son was very upset and almost in tears when he got in the car. At 11 years old, appearance is important, and situations like this can be especially difficult for kids socially. I went back in to calmly ask her name (Iris) and explained how upset he is (she laughed) and a little advise that it's always better to cut less initially, since more can always be taken off, but hair cannot be added back. Unfortunately, she was extremely rude and unapologetic during that interaction as well. I should have not even paid for this hair cut as I am going to have to find someone that can fix and pay them. read more

The sign says, "We cut your hair the way you want." BS. BS. I have been using this location for a couple of years, and have had ONE stylist follow my direction. ONE out of how many? Two dozen, maybe? If I wanted a burr cut I would join the marines again. I place a hand on top of my head directly requesting them to leave it alone or barely trim it. I use the hand to encircle my head above the ears, CONCENTRATE on my neck and ears. It appears that my language skills are lacking since no matter how hard I try I end up with SHORT Hair cut. It happened again today. The Stylist started at the top cutting TOO MUCH OFF, not 20 seconds after I asked her not to. I just can't bring myself to ever go back! On the good side, the stylists are always pleasant and professional, but obviously, my words mean nothing to them, which means my money and forced tip goes somewhere else. read more

First time here and at super cuts. They're 3.00 higher than great clips for kids They have a check in ahead program too We still waited 45 minutes They're slow Not the friendliest bunch. Won't be back and I don't recommend them. read more

I've been going to Procuts on 288 in Denton for 25 years and only got one bad haircut. They closed recently and I didn't want to drive to the other side of Denton chasing the Procuts crew that had worked there. So my son found Great Clips in LanTana where he gets good haircut. So I tried Greatclips and got a ok haircut, not great haircut. So I gave them another shot and the cut was bad. Even though they told me how I liked it cut they wouldn't cut it that way. So I'm moving on. I see SuperCuts across 407 by Krogers. I walk in and the place was empty. I got there early and by the time I was done the place was packed. I get Terri to give me the goods and she listened how and what I wanted my cut and that I was there because of bad haircuts. Terri didn't let me down. Got a good cut and beard trim and left looking good and was very happy because I found my new home for haircuts and actually closer than Procuts was to my house. Win win. See you in two weeks Terri. Probably the single worst haircut I've ever gotten at a Supercuts and I've used them all over the midwest for decades. there is a Pro Cuts across the street. Try them. read more

I had never been to a Supercuts before so I had no particular expectations. I really just needed to bring my son in and get a him a quick haircut. Normally I do it but not today. It was 30 minutes before closing and I called to make sure they were ok with it. Mercedes said come on in, so we did. She met us at the desk when we walked in. A total of three ladies were cutting hair at 5:30pm on a Saturday. She did a good job and took the time to talk to me and give me tips for continuing to do it myself in the future. Overall I thought it was great for the price. It's hard to imagine it being much better then that! read more

1st, no one even said hello when I walked in. The check in was broke so wasn't able to check in. So I sat for 15 minutes waiting. A guy walked in and the lady greeted him and said did you check in online? He said yes then she goes, ok come on back. I was like umm what about me and she looked at me and said, he booked his online. Was like well I'm just going to go across the street to Great Clips. You have lost a costumer for good lady. Only reason I even go there cause it's convenient. But now Great Clips is right across the street. There is a reason why no one was in Your store and there was a 30 minute wait at Great Clips. I just moved here and was scheduled to have a first time appointment at another salon. She canceled an hour before my appointment and the day before we had family pictures scheduled. Mercedes took me late afternoon Saturday and stayed 2 hours after closing to cut and color my hair. I was so skeptical of going to Supercuts but I was desperate. She did a fabulous job. Husband called ahead for Pam. Checked in upon arrival. Pam was finishing a young boy. He was told he was next up. Waited 45 minutes & she leaves without a word. First he assumed she had gone in the back to use the restroom, but no she had left. Not a word of when she'll be back. Others girls had no idea when she'd return. No apologies from anyone. Zero stars. Terrible. One older lady working only. Complained to everyone walking in that she was the only one working and needed a break. As soon as she saw me with my 18 month old grandson she looked like she would have a stroke. Waited 30 minutes, then when we sat down he cried because he didn't want the cape on, she scolded me and said it was a Texas law to wear a cape. Lie. Then she just huffed that she didn't feel comfortable because he was crying. I should have known by the look on her face when we walked in that she wasn't even going to try. She complained to the patrons about the other stylists not being there because they refuse to "close" because they don't want to do what's necessary like clean the bathrooms and that's why she was the only one working. Awful! My husband went in there two days in a row while open sign was on and doors were unlocked and was told that they were closed, during business hours. Clearly they don't want customers so maybe they should just be closed. Surprising that this is tolerated as chain establishment... read more

This place is fantastic!! I took my 2 year old here for his second hair cut ever. We were greeted my a very nice stylist and seated immediately with her for the cut. She was AWESOME! Had a toddler herself and was just a natural at making my son feel comfortable and have fun! Her name is AMBER. Ask for her. She's new to the area and honestly, a great person with the awesome talent and attitude. Please check her and this place out. I LOVE they are open until 8 so I can get there after work. They need to post a sign on their front door informing customers that this an appointment only salon. In went in a little after 11:00 AM and signed in to their desk kiosk - no one greeted me. They had three stylists working and there were two people in the waiting area. My name went up on the electronic board - only showing one person in front of me. I waited almost an hour while people walked in that had "checked in online" and were taken in front of me. I looked all over the store and never saw anything that indicated you had to sign in online to reserve a spot or that an appointment was required. Left frustrated after over an hour - save your time and go somewhere else. read more
