Extremely reasonable prices. I'm a new client and was able to score a next day appointment with Trey. I haven't had a cut in a while and knew I'd need quite a cut for the health of my hair. Trey was absolutely amazing. I went in nervous and expecting not to like it, just because it would be something new. I ended up absolutely loving my cut. I made an appt here for a haircut about a week in advance. I show up to my appt today at 2:05pm 10 minutes in advance just like they ask. Keep in mind this is my first time using this place. I was informed by the front desk receptionist that my appt was cancelled because my stylist's kid was sick. She also informed me that they left me a message the day before on my voicemail which they did not! I have no calls from this salon, I did however receive a text the night before confirming my appt along with an email confirmation the day before. I made this appt for today for a reason! Not only did they not call, they did not try to get me in with anyone else! I am not happy and will not attempt to use this salon again. It is one thing to get talked about in high school or even a close friend... but it is another thing to be talked about by your EX hair stylist! A coworker of mine told me that our mutual hair stylist said "I was dramatic and caused a scene" last time I was in the salon. (which I completely did not!) OK, So how many other random people are you telling this story? How unprofessional. I am so furious because I was calm the last time I was there when she messed up my hair.... But at least they do have a very sweet receptionist/manager to reassure me the issue was going to be taken care of (I hope). I paid $$$$ for a haircut at an Aveda salon in Dallas and hated the results. I needed my hair fixed but didn't want to go back to that salon. Chose this one at random because it's next door to me, and ended up with Trey because he was available the very next day. I was nervous after the bad experience but for half the price I paid in Dallas, he gave me exactly what I showed him in the picture but modified it slightly to flatter my face. He was excellent, he was fast, and he gave me a great blowout too. I feel so much better and my hair looks better than it has in years. I'll be returning to him every 6 weeks and bringing my daughter in. I'll come to him for color too. This goes to show expensive doesn't always mean better. I'm really glad I found this salon and Trey in particular. read more

I had been going here for over 2 years. I switched stylists to Bryana because the old receptionist Chelsea told me she would be a better fit for me. The last few times I have left I have paid more than I ever had on my hair and growing up in Laguna Beach, Ca area that can get expensive and rightfully so. If your going to add another charge, go over it with your client before you do it. I was shocked that Bryana did not do this considering she owns the salon and has been a stylist for years. As a stylist myself who does keep her license up, I should have been more direct with her about my disappointment. I have since left this salon and my current stylist only has to use one bottle of color on my hair to do my roots. Bryana always wrote she used xtra color. Maybe she did, but then let me watch you mix it up and let me know. Again as someone who used to work in a salon myself, you always tell your client when you are adding on more charges to their service. read more

Trey is great for both color and cut! I've had difficulty in the past trying to find someone who could provide great results for both cut and color. Trey is consistent and delivers what you ask for! read more

I've had my hair done twice here. Both times I felt I overpaid for them to do next to nothing. My 1 star review (should be zero) is because I had hair & makeup scheduled months in advance on my wedding day. The night before my wedding I got a message around 8pm from the salon saying to call them back. I assumed it was a confirmation call. I showed up at 9 am the next morning for my appointment. Ya. They canceled me on the day of my wedding. Other salons tried harder than they did to find a solution on my wedding day!! I came home in tears at 9:30 am and opened a bottle of wine. My husband called multiple times. Eventually they said they would try to do something for me but I'd be cutting it close to being late for my own wedding. Why didn't they try to make adjustments to their appointments the night before? I declined and my teenage daughter called a few of her friends to come over and save the day. So I was able to look beautiful on my wedding day with no help from this salon. I will never consider giving them business again. read more

I had been going to see Briana (owner) for about over a year or so ago. I had not had any issues, until the last appointment I had 2 weeks ago - I was so disappointed. I had been going to her for a blonde balayage. On my last appointment I had asked for a little more dimension, she suggested some low lights - she said they would be just two shades darker than what I had. Said there would still be plenty of be blonde. However my hair turned quite dark. Did not look like I had any blonde left. I expressed I did not like it, that I felt like all my blonde was gone. Her response to this was "Oh no did the girls leave the gloss on for too long, did they not time it" (no ownership taken). She then said "well I had a feeling you may not like it so I used semi-permanent color" (why am I paying SEMI permanent color, and why not disclose this information beforehand). I decided , okay I will give it a couple of days. I waited I believe 2-3 days and called and expressed I wasn't happy with my hair. They told me she would definitely call me back by five. She did not reach out to me, I waited another week before contacting her again. They gave me her cell number and I sent her pictures and a message, she responded apologizing for a late text and said "it can be fixed" I asked what my options were and it has been another week and I never heard from her. My hair has lighted up a bit but into a reddish brown. I feel like I deserved better customer service, given the money and time I had invested into my hair services. I felt like I was not taken seriously as their customer. I should not have been the one trying to reach them continuously. They made no effort. Extremely upset with their customer service and with the way my hair looks now. read more

My first experience with this salon was great! Last year I came in looking to cut 9" off my hair into a long bob and get a balayage/ombré. The stylist was very honest with me about how many levels we would be able to lighten my hair in one sitting (I have dirty blonde-light brown hair). It turned out great. My second experience was not so great. I wanted a color and cut again (this time, I only needed 3-4" cut, but the same balayage/ombré). I could only schedule an appointment for the cut due to a full schedule, but I planned to come back soon to get the color. As I sat down, I explained all of that to my stylist, and she played with my hair a bit and told me she could fit the color in as well if I didn't mind waiting just a bit. I had no problem with that! I showed her a picture of what I wanted (color-wise), and she said "well do you want a balayage or an ombré?" I said I just liked the picture. I had also mentioned with a lot of fine hair, my hair can get bulky at the bottom, so I always ask them to thin it out. I also mentioned I don't like yellowy-blonde, and she suggested a glaze. After she cut and colored my hair, it was time to wait for another client to be finished so she could style it and put the finishing touches on it (not a problem at all). I saw my hair in a mirror, and it was a dramatic difference in blonde. I could tell it had been bleached too many levels, and was not subtle at all. When I went back to tell her, she said we could do the glaze, but that what I had was definitely an ombré (as if I was supposed to know the difference between a balayage and ombré, and it was my fault since I didn't... even though I showed her a picture). So we did the glaze. After she had rinsed my hair, she mentioned it would have a shade of purple to it. Mind you, I was starting a new office job 3 days later, so not being told this in advance wasn't exactly in my best interests, but I tried to make the best of it. Once she dried and curled my hair, I was so ecstatic that I wasn't bleach blonde anymore, that I tipped her well (mistake). I got home and realized my hair wasn't thinned out at all, and is basically the same color it originally was. Also, I had to pay for the glaze treatment, which I don't think is okay when it was to correct something she did wrong. Basically, I just didn't think the stylist had the experience that I think she should in order to complete the things I had asked for. I should've done my research ahead of time. read more

First visit went great! Mandy, the girl who cut my hair was very sweet. I had brought in a picture to show her an idea of what I was looking for. She was very attentive and made sure to double check with me thru out my appointment. She also had patience for me which is very important since I have very long and thick hair. I can honestly say I will be booking my next appointment with her. read more

I was disappointed. Got there at 4:57 for a 5:30 haircut with a new to me stylist, my usual one was no longer there.I had been a customer there for about two years. No one came to check on me, the stylist didn't introduce himself, I was basically forgotten about. I sat there until 5:55 and told the receptionist I was leaving. She was apologetic but at that point I'd had enough. Hope they can manage multitasking in the future. read more
