You never know what you're gonna look like when you leave . I was extremely disappointed on Valentine's Day with my blowout I sent pictures. I called management and got zero response. My credit card got stolen and I went to the store talked to assistant manager to ensure my new credit card was applied only to find out it was not done so my credits worth $100 was forfeited with no notice and had the stylist called the manager unwilling to reestablished paid unused credits even though I went nearly weekly for many months until I took 2 months off to travel assured by word my credits will be good when I return by front desk lady who apparently isn't there anymore. You would think to keep my business they would give me what I prepaid for but they would rather lose business to a new blo bar opening soon in town. read more

I made the appointment because I'm going to see Stevie Nicks tonight and thought I'd treat myself. I have never felt less valued as a customer than going here today. Apparently overbooking is a practice here but buyer beware. After waiting for 20 minutes the receptionist washed the top layer of my hair then I got to sit some more. Before my hair completely dried on its own, the manager came over to offer me free services. I'd have preferred to get any -literally any service. Since I've never been there and live in mom bun, I let Dominique (my stylist) decide. To get started you get your hair washed with their amazing smelling products. You can add on a head massage for an extra cost and definitely will add that on. Cause the little bit of massage I got with the normal wash had me wanting MORE! Then onto the blow dry. I don't know about you, but blow drying my hair relaxes me, especially done with gentle care. I got the "Holly Would", which was curls with bounce. When I was finished, I felt like a million bucks. So, I am not a customer of this establishment but I was a customer to the business next door, massage heights. I received a gift card for massage which I was so excited to get to use! I mean, who wouldnt be?! Well, my experience with massage heights was almost perfect. I do recommend them, get deals, great therapist..anyways, what made my experience less than perfect was Blo. They have their music turned up so loud that it shakes the walls. Totally ruining the experience of trying to relax. Imagine trying to go to sleep after work 40+ hours a week and the teenagers throw a raging party till 2am. That kind of annoyance. I asked staff if it was always like that and they said unfortunately it is. That the owner of Blo had even come over and gotten aggressive with the staff at massage heights for voicing their complaints and concerns. The great benefit of BLO is you can pop in while you're at nearby stores and spend just 1 hour of time to leave feeling like a new person! If you have ever been to the Dry Bar this is NOT it! The entire experience nothing like what you receive at the Dry Bar and that wonderful product smell forget about it. From the stylist not introducing herself to a half as washing of your hair, which I don't know about you that the one part I really love the wash and scalp massage. Then lets get to the drying part. Well I could do it better myself. It's not like the other what so ever. It's a very basic blow dry and nothing special. There is no experience with the hair moving, twirling, and curling. It's just a basic blow dry. Plus an over use of product that makes you feel as you have a turtle shell on your head and well the smell is nothing like the other. The final test was how well it would hold up and it did not pass that test either. I believe this is due to the basic drying technique. From the lack of hospitality to the basic service I would not recommend. I would go the extra mile to Plano or Grapevine to the Dry Bar. read more

She pays great attention to details and asks for your opinion along the way. I cannot remember the girl's name who did my makeup. I believe it was Tess (sorry if I've got it wrong). Anyway, she was great as well. I rarely wear makeup and asked for a tad darker than very natural for a photo shoot. She also showed me her work every step of the way. I showed up at 7:20am and the lights were not even on- I waited another 10 minutes and no one showed up. I was driving off at 7:40am and received a phone call- I was given an excuse as to why the salon was not open yet (the stylist forgot her keys....). I had to wait several more minutes for her husband to bring her keys. Once inside the salon, she did apologize, and my hair looked fine when all was said and done, but the salon was FILTHY- which is odd, considering it was before they had seen any clients for the day. I highly suggest sticking to DryBar or your local hairstylist. read more

Management is seemingly non existent at this location. I made an appointment to get a $65.00 "practice" up-do prior to my event and it went great. Made another appointment with the same stylist for the day of the event and when I arrived that day I was told by the receptionist that the stylist "wanted to have the morning off" so moved all her appointments to another stylist. The new stylist had no idea I had been in before nor what kind of style I had. I did have a few pictures and she was very nice and tried to match it, but it didn't look nearly as good and started falling apart as soon as I left the salon. I've been in the salon four times (two to make appointments and two for the actual appointments) and there has never been more than two stylists though the salon has stations for many, many more than that. Don't think this location will make it and I certainly won't be back. read more

My mother and I walked in on a Saturday morning and didn't have to wait, even though she said they were booked out the rest of the day. I thought we had gotten lucky. However, neither mine nor my moms hair lasted even an hour. We were getting our hair styled for a wedding the same night, and we needed to get home to re do it. My mom said her stylist did not use conditioner, but I thought my stylists' wash was nice. After everything said and done, my ends were not smooth, and it didn't look like it we had spent $50 (each) on getting our hair styled. This place is overrated. read more
