My first visit and I was a guest of a friend. Four of us had a lot of questions, and the hostess/ cashier/server could not have been more patient! Her name is Andrea, and she seemed to be the only "front of house" employee. To be honest, I'm surprised that this restaurant wasn't busier; the menu is quite extensive and we all enjoyed our choices. I followed Andrea's recommendation for a customized "burrito bowl." What I received was a very large serving of pork Carnitas, Nestled in a bowl of cilantro, lime, rice and black beans which were well seasoned. All four of us expressed surprise and delight at different times as we tucked into our entrées; no one had ordered anything "extra spicy" or anything that seemed to guarantee a large amount of chilies, but I would say that all of the entrées were, at least, mildly spicy. And, did I say delicious? I hope I did! I have to admit that I didn't even look at the prices, so I can't comment on the value. But I would say that all three of us were more than satisfied. I suppose I need to mention that the fluorescent light and standard fast food booths didn't really provide any type of "ambience," but it's not that kind of place. Everything was clean and that's all that. I usually care about! Andrea kept all of the booths cleaned up, and there was no lingering sign of past patrons. What can I say? it's a fast food establishment and it more than exceeds expectations. We had a really nice meal there, and we were so comfortable that no one was keeping track of the time. The establishment let the four of us sit there and catch up without ever making us feel like we needed to be moving on. i In general, I would say that we all had an excellent afternoon, and I am already looking forward to a return visit. read more

Wow! I am so excited for Onalaska to have an authentic Mexican restaurant! Only open a week, and am glad to get a chance to try their fare. For tacos you can get soft flour or soft corn, or hard corn tacos. There are Quesadilla options, and burrito options. The thing that has me excited are the protein options. Lengua (cow tongue) Cachete (Beef Cheek) are on the menu, and I encourage you to give them a try. They are amazing. You also have carne asada, al pastor, carnitas, chorizo, shrimp and fish ...I think that covers everyone's palate. I ordered the California burrito with lengua. Super Good. Way too much for me to eat, and I would have split it with another. The other two items ordered was the chorizo tacos, and the Elote. loved the chorizo.. not too greasy and very flavorful. The Elote was by far my favorite thing. Corn on the cob with mayo, lime, Chile, and cotija cheese. I could eat that stuff all day. We all need to support this establishment. It's local, it's owner operated, and it's truly great Mexican fare. This will be first on my list for food options when I am in town. read more

This was a great spot to grab a quick dinner after exploring the nearby trails at Grandad Bluff. Lengua and tripa tacos. Yummmmm! You don't always get these options in the Midwest, and I was so happy to see them on the menu! I wish I'd tried the cachete as well... Next time! Seating is indoor/outdoor. Several tables inside and a couple out front. Park your pup or (attended) stroller. As for parking your car, I found street parking across the way. The area is fairly residential so I imagine street parking elsewhere wouldn't be hard to find. I need more tacos in my life and will be sure to stop by this friendly joint next time I'm in town. :) read more

I'm pretty picky about Mexican food as I'm from Arizona so it's a lot more authentic there. Until I tried this place I had been really disappointed with the Mexican food in the area. Just stopped by for the first time since they opened. We were worried because we noticed they closed at 8:30 and we showed up just before 8. The young female taking our order was extremely patient and very helpful while we checked out the menu. The building is decorated very well and has more space than you'd think for dining. I ordered the super loaded quesadilla, with shrimp, last week and again tonight. Both times they were delicious. Pricing is reasonable. The staff seemed cheerful and pleasant. The cooks seemed to work seamlessly together and the hostess/cashier was very welcoming. read more

With a heavy heart I need to write this review because I wanted super street tacos to be the best place in lax area for burritos but unfortunately it is not. I have had burritos at their competitors and unfortunately super street in comparison barely put any meat on their burritos. I thought the first one I ordered was a mistake but after about 4 orders they just didn't put more meat on even after I asked for a little extra. Overall it's good but also expensive! For what you pay I'd expect a little more quality. read more
