We walked from the hotel in 19% so were chilled. My husband ordered coffee but there was no other nonalcoholic drink option. The server suggested hot water with lemon slices and boy did that hit the spot. We were served complimentary homemade tortilla chips with a tasty salsa. I started with their soup of the day which was Pozole Rozo. I did not detect meat in This soup but it had plenty hominy and flavor. It hit the spot on a cold winter evening. I followed that up with Manny's Fiesta Salad with the Cajun Shrimp. I was happy the ranch dressing was on the side as I added a couple tablespoons and dumped the rest of salsa on top. The lettuce was crisp and I enjoyed the jicama which added an extra crunch. The 6 blacken shrimp were perfectly done. My husband ordered The Seven Seas Burrito which he said was excellent. He was happy when he came to the end of the Brito and found a scallop. This burrito must have been heavier on the shrimp and mahi mahi. Non the less he enjoyed his meal. We will be back next year for a convention, staying at the same hotel and will most likely come Back and try more items.
