I can't speak to the dine in experience....but we have tried this place twice and both times via takeout/pickup. our order was completely wrong! The first time we thought it may have been an off night so we waited a few months then tried them for a second time tonight and again all of our food was incorrect and we were missing an entire entree. We spent over $100 and when we called to tell them our food was incorrect they did absolutely nothing to get our order corrected...didn't even offer to give us the food that was missing from our order which is all that we wanted...we didn't ask for a refund we simply asked if we could get the food that we paid for. Long story short we will not be back a third time. We were completely disappointed in the food and customer service. read more

Waited a long time for our waters. Order came reasonably fast but we weren't given utensils and had to ask for some. There were 2 pieces of beef in my Vegetarian Burrito. Waters were never refilled and we waited more than 20 minutes to pay our check (waiter never actually picked up my card though he said he would, we eventually took check to front desk). read more

Sitting outside on the patio is definitely recommended. Friendly staff. The food is great! I would buy their Mexican ranch dip, you get with the tortillas, by the gallon if I could! It is oh sooooo good! All their dishes are well plated; you can't wait to dive into them, they look so good. The meats are perfectly seasoned. My preference (taste & texture) was the steak, with the pork being a close second. That's not to say the chicken wasn't tasty. Some dishes have green peppers in them, so if you're a person who doesn't like that, check the menu, ask the server (I believe the chicken is marinated with the peppers.) Well, my family had a really fun time. And finishing it off with the deep fried ice cream....Yum! The sugary tortilla bowl is oh soo good. It complements the ice cream perfectly (it was my birthday, so I got the spotlight of sombrero, cheesy birthday frame, and singing. Not what I was expecting. Service was fast and friendly. Very clean and staff was happy. Food arrived fast for my friend and me. Unfortunately the carnitas and chicken was very dry and little flavor. I order this carnitas dish at almost every Mexican restaurant and basing my review off of what I expect on this meal. The meat should be moist and fall apart with my fork as well as very flavorful. Food was expertly seasoned. I've had a rating system on fajitas running for 2 years now. Best is the fajitas Jalisco. Service is fast. Never walk away from a big line they are fast and good... amazing meals every time. People are extremely welcoming and truly care if you get exactly what you order and enjoy it! Though I wasn't in favour of it, I let my friends drag me back to this place and I was even more disappointed than the last time. Ordered the Special Combo dinner, and there was nothing special about it. The absolutely tasteless tamale, a half hearted beef enchilada, and a pretty decent chile relleno was covered in some nasty red sauce, that tasted more like Chef Boyardee than anything Mexican. There was also a barely seasoned beef taco, and some sort of taco salad with a big scoop of guacamole, which was okay as far as the guacamole goes. The child sized silverware from Sam's Club made eating a bit of a chore, and the overly loud "contemporary " music was kinda irritating. All things considered, a nursing home could make a tastier version of Mexican food than this place. The next time my friends want to go here, I shall be eating at home. 1 star and not really deserving of it. read more

My wife and I dropped in for supper Thursday, June 15, 2023. We have dined at both La Crosse and Onalaska locations numerous times with good experiences. This time we had supper at Onalaska. The place was not very busy at this time. We found the people working to be very lax. Our server gave us a inappropriate greeting. Our server took our order and delivered the food not as we requested. The server took my wife's plate and had the kitchen take the items off the plate and gave her the same plate with residual ingredients left on. By the time the food came back, it was cold! We just ate our food and left. We are not sure we will return to the Onalaska location again! M.R. read more
