Been coming here for a number of years for smog testing and I've never been disappointed.

So my car, a 2007 Dodge Caliber with 130k miles on it suddenly went into "Limp mode" where I could only go 15mph and the check engine light was flashing. Then I'd give it a rest and it would run fine then BAM- back to 15mph and lights and beeping and chaos. So I went to O'reily's and they checked the codes- 5 of them, misfire on cylinder 1, cam sensor, etc. Battery good, alternator good (five stars to O'Reily Auto Parts too). The 1st mechanic I called wanted $690 to just to "Get involved". Ouch. So glad I drove it to Super Station and met Arrmond- he said $165 to diagnose it and in the end they replaced 3 sensors and reset the computer and replaced all the plugs- totally fixed it, it appears. Put 50 miles on it, no problems so far knock on wood- and the total cost was $590- less than what the other guy down the street wanted just to look at it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SUPER STATION! They could have easily ripped me off but they were honest, fair and I'm so happy I met them. I'm a customer for life- I finally found a mechanic I can TRUST! Thanks to Mr. Singh and the mechanic who opened up the shop early in the morning and worked on my car. I hope to get 200k out out of this car! Wish me luck! Recently my "check engine" light started flashing and I took my car here due to speaking to a nice man over the phone. The next day I arrived and spoke with Arman who hooked my car up to the diagnostic computer then explained what he thought was wrong. I left my car. Within 2 hours, he called with an update and what the total cost would be. Shortly after I went to pick my car up and Arman showed me the spark plugs that were old and burned, and kept his word on the total price for repairs. I was very pleased with his work. Great place for an oil change if you have a few hours to spare. Be sure to dress appropriately for an outdoor waiting area (3 plastic chairs) though. I called to schedule an appointment and was told they don't do appointments, but an oil change will usually take 15-20 minutes. I showed up at 1:45 and was told they couldn't do an oil change 'till 3:30. I was silly enough to return at 3:30, only to wait another 20 minutes for my vehicle to be moved into a service bay, where it was abandoned for another 15 minutes before I asked how much longer it would be. His response was to blithely suggest that if I'm in a hurry perhaps we should re-schedule. I decided to re-schedule somewhere else. read more

Generally I dislike taking my car in for any kind of work, so I was nervous trying out a new place. But I was very pleasantly surprised when I got to this shop. The guys I spoke with were all very pleasant and polite. I never once got the sense that they were being anything but honest. I especially liked Sabi who was extremely kind and sincere to me. Their prices very are reasonable when I take into account the cost of parts and labor. They also honored their price quotes with no problem issue whatsoever. They took care of my smog check so quickly and efficiently that I had them add on an oil change to my work order. They've helped me in a pinch last year. My 1972 Beetles brakes froze up on my way to a car rally. I came in like 20min before closing and they made the time to check out my car and get me back on the road so I could continue on my Sierra journey. I figured they'd know what they where doing by comparison to some of the other shops in the area. If I lived in the area I'd return. But since I don't live in the area I'd figure I could at least give them a good review. It's my first time doing smog testing, and I paid a good price of $52.25. I first called to get a price quote and my first impression was that the man who answered the phone sound polite and professional. He gave me a quote of $52.25. I also looking at other Smog Test locations and the next best thing to Super Station would be the one that charges $59.99. So I tried Super Station to save the $7 LOL. I drove down and followed the pin point location on the Yelp map on my phone but it indicated the place at the wrong side of the street. It was actually across McDonald so I had to turn around to get to the other side. It was my bad -- I should have done a Google street view for the place. It took about 35 minutes from the time I got there to the time I left Super Station. There were 2 people ahead of me, so I guess it wasn't a bad of a wait time. The man (Armin?) told me it would take 45 minutes to an hour so I'm glad it didn't take that long. Overall: good service, polite staff, and you can walk around to nearby plazas to window shop or pass some time. read more

I started off with a scheduled appointment at Smog Star Express in Concord. When I arrived, I was treated rudely by the gentleman working there, who didn't bother checking me in and told me it would be a 15+ minute wait, even though he asked if I had a SCHEDULED appointment in their system. I ARRIVED ON TIME. I was then rudely told to sit in my car. While sitting there I made a few calls and spoke to a very nice gentleman at Super Station. He told me the price to test my car WHICH WAS LESS THAN SMOG STAR EXPRESS and he told me he had time to do the test right away. I drove down the street, pulled into Super Station and they immediately checked me in, took my car into the shop, and finished the test within 10 minutes of my arrival. Even WITHOUT an appointment. They sent the certificate to the State of CA, as well. As a woman who gets treated less then fairly by many car repair shops, I appreciate the professional manner, fairness, and respect with which Super Station treated me.
