I stopped to wash my truck, even though I'm sick with bronchitis and I don't want to have a conversation. The young attendant approached and I said no thank you, I'm sick, I don't want a conversation right now. I was trying to pay for my wash and he kept asking the same question over and over. Then he started with I'm just doing my job, no need to be disrespectful. I had already asked him to back off and step away, and I said that again, and that he was the one being disrespectful when I asked him to step away and he didn't. Then he pointed to the camera and said this is all being recorded so they can see and hear me. I said good, a$$hole, let them listen to you, and drive off. I get to the wash and he's now crying to his boss and his boss says he's going to ban me from the car wash. I repeated again to him, that I was sick, and I was not going to argue with him too. He kept egging me on, and absolutely I used some very colorful language. I'll never go back to this place or ANY SUPERSTAR CAR WASH. They are more persistent than the extended car warranty people. I am so sick of what feels like predatory practices for a membership, I said no thank you, no, no thanks, and no! And yet they take your card or cash and hold you up. Today I'm DONE! Today I asked the guy why do you keep talking to me and asking me questions when I told you no, I'm not interested and he said this is my job ma'am! And I said this is your job to harass people after they have already said no and he said yes and don't worry. It's all on video. And I said I don't care if it is on video this is ridiculous. I said no nicely. I said it directly. I was very clear and yet they keep on and keep on. I am a woman I am alone. I am in my 60s which makes me a senior citizen. I don't feel safe or comfortable going to ANY SUPER STAR CAR WASH anymore simply because of these harassment TACTICS that you get when you try to pay for a service that they're offering that is supposed to be self service. read more

Never have I felt more harassed at a carwash. I am NEVER ever coming back. After the first employee was persistent but at least somewhat respectful about me not wanting to purchase a monthly subscription to their service (because I am only getting carwashes 2-3 times a year), the manager or another older employee walked up and started being aggressive and being very rude as he couldn't fathom why I wouldn't. For years, I've had a monthly membership and was glad when this location opened as it's closer than the Crismon one to my house. Everyone is pretty friendly, and it's a decent wash for going through a carwash. I think the monthly membership is great, so I can wash weekly or more if monsoon season wreaks havoc on my car. Definitely one of the better drive thru car washes from my experience. read more

I was going to get a single carwash when a man standing at the kiosk said I could get the whole month for $16. He never told me this was an on going program with reoccurring charges of $25 on my credit card! Why would I agree to that when I live in WI and was only in AZ for a short time?? Now, I am disputing this and getting no response. The only way to contact them is to fill out a form every time through email. It all seems like a scam. Stopped in for a carwash and received value as expected with the services offered. I went through the automatic carwash only, which was satisfactory. They do offer vacuums and cloths for detailing which is included in the price of your carwash. Staff was helpful when I quickly interacted with them. I used to have the monthly service but no longer do and selected a one time carwash ($11). The whole experience took less than 5 minutes and I was on my way with a fresh car! read more

I only come to this place once a month, but now i won't be stopping at all. I came in before work, and I always know they're going to ask about the monthly subscription, and they did. No problem with that at all, I understand the workers have to upsell it, i said no thank you and was ready to pay. The worker then tried to sell it again, i said no thank you, and told them which wash i wanted. Then a different worker, an older gentleman, asked me how often i come in and if i always get the $11 wash- to which i said yes- and he said "so how does only $9 extra monthly not make sense to you?" and i said because i would not come enough to make it worth it. He shook his head and said "whatever makes you happy i guess". I understand wanting to upsell your service and i have never had an issue with that in the past- but the workers being plain rude about me declining when im just trying to get to work really off put me. My neighbor has a car with very faded paint and bird poop all over it. She doesn't get out of the house much so I took her car to superstar car wash on Ironwood.... what an absolutely irritating disaster of a car wash. The worker was so determined to upsell us. That he kept hounding us to upgrade the car wash into come and get unlimited car washes and when I told him no that it was the neighbor's car. He just kept hounding. I told him know about four times and then finally said do we need to leave and then he said no I'm just doing my job. It was so incredibly rude and irritating. Well do not ever sign up on for they're automated monthly wash deal first of all they put my wrong driver's license or my wrong license of my car in and I never could use it there was no one to talk to the manager at the Ironwood and Baseline and Apache Junction facility I showed him the receipt on my credit card he still would not honor it matter fact he made me back up and get out of line there's no one you can call to cancel it long story short they kept taking it out we had to close our credit card down . Myself and another customers pulled in at 7:28 pm. The vacuum's and air was shut off. No air fresheners, he said they haven't been coming in. First of all why were the vacuum and air shut off when you don't close till eight. And as far as the air freshener, you were out of tire shine for two months which I pay four dollars a month extra for. Get your act together or close it down. Shady business, do not trust these guys with your credit card. TRY GETTING A HOLD OF SOMEONE ON THE PHONE, GOOD LUCK! The only way to communicate with these clowns is thru email. I cancelled my plan 3 weeks before the upcoming month and they still charged my card. Car wash is ok for small cars but trucks are never dried in the rear. I have talked to disgruntled employees that tell me the management is terrible. They don't want to hear about issues or problems with equipment. Shady business practice and a headache to rectify. I get there is probably some type of quota, but sneakily signing customers up against their will and knowledge just to meet it? The manager John was the most disrespectful person I've came across. I've been getting my car was for a year and he ran up to my car and said your car is rejected here because it's to dirty. We have been charged a monthly fee and I have contacted them numerous times to refund these charges but they keep charging me. I have not been able to telephone them. Just looked at my bank account and noticed my subscription went from 21.00 a month to 30.00 a month and there is no way I'm going to pay this price for 2 vehicle. I have a dodge truck that never cleans the tires so back window and on my Denali it does not even touch or clean the back hatch. this place is nothing but a joke. I've been going to this carwash since it opened and, usually, its been very good. Yesterday, though, the dryer shut off without drying the vehicle entirely, I paid for the best wash with the tire shine, and got no tire shine. Then, to add insult to injury, NOT ONE SINGLE DRYING CLOTH IN ANY OF THE BINS!!!, so i could dry my own vehicle!! Then, the end popped off the vacuum hose, so had to use the next side's. To top it all off, the price has increased! Totally unimpressed this time; i will find a new wash to use....I have gone out of my way for this one everytime; yesterday proved to be too much. read more

Love love love I'm on a monthly pass with Super Star and I've been a member for 2 years now and absolutely love Super Star Car Wash. I go through the wash everyday and use the vacuum services once a week. (Your vehicle is usually your second largest investment outside your house so take good care of it). Always a good wash and if it wasn't I'd just go back through again. Employees are always available to help with every aspect of the was. I have to recommend a monthly pass. I got one car wash for $10 and a month later, I get charged $25 when I EXPLICITLY told them that I do not want to sign up. Stop this SHADY BUSINESS practice because it's ruining your brand and it seems to be the leading cause of payment disputes with this company.
