Food options are so limited in Newport late at night, you could do worse, I didn't feel that it was any better than average.

Love their food. Their customer service in drive thru is horrible! Please repeat my order. Every time I get home to check for bag of surprise food. Asking if they got it right makes me fear safety of my food. Lol. Too bad it's the only good food open with drive thru or I'd go elsewhere. If they would just repeat my order and maybe say thank you I would give them 5 stars. read more

Great breakfast burritos. They are huge as well. The employees are very nice. I wish they would fry their chimichangas a little longer. They get soggy with all of stuff they put on them. read more

They have deliciuos food, but some of the staff (girls) say alot of words in spanish. You dont have to know spanish to know thyere talking bad lenguage. And thats not ok. The girls seems to be related to the owner, and does not give a great service. They see you walk in and dont even say hi. It used to be one of my favorite places to eat but because of the service i stoped coming so often read more

The food here is delicious. The super burrito is the best thing there but aside from that the workers are very rude, i live here and everytime i go im waiting in the drivethru for a good 10 minutes for just one burrito and they always have a bad attitude. The last time i went i asked for churros and they were being completely rude when i asked if they could drop some for me because they didnt have any. read more

Decent Mexican food, big burritos, I had their super breakfast burrito, only $5, big menu, seen a lot of locals eatN there, suggested at least once. read more

OMG real Mexican food in Newport. This place was great! Breakfast burrito was on point and rolled tacos were fantastic. Anytime I'm in the area they have my repeat business for here on! read more

Great food and great people working there! Everything is made fresh to order and all the vegetables are fresh. I enjoy eating here at least once a week and am never disappointed. Their drink prices may be slightly high but $6.00 for a giant burrito is a bargain! read more

If you like boiled meat filled with gristle and waxy oily cheese, you might like this place. Some of the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. I have tried them twice (I am a local). Once for breakfast when I had the "bacon burrito". Bacon, eggs and raw potatoes. No flavor. Last time was "Carne Asada Taco" and "Cheese Quesadilla". The taco was inedible, filled with meat that looked like it was boiled and it was full or gristle. No lettuce or cabbage, just a slathering of what looked like fake guacamole and pico. I can make a much better quesadilla at home. The tortilla was not homemade, had waxy oily cheese on it and zero flavor. I will absolutely not be back and I would not recommend them unless you're starving in the middle of the night and no other place is open. I would rather go hungry. Disgusting. read more

If you're from Utah, you've most likely driven past or dined at a Beto's Mexican or Rancherito's Mexican restaurant. I made many a trips there and after moving to Oregon, I knew those would be establishments I would miss. Luckily for me, upon a weekend stay in Newport, I came across Super Oscar's and went there with my big family. It did not disappoint! Just like the two Mexican restaurants I missed from home and we all left satisfied. Reasonably priced, big burritos and platters. Perfect to feed a hungry crowd who's on a budget. Food made fresh, perfectly seasoned carne asada, fresh pico de gallo, hot and delicious flour tortillas and local seafood for tacos and burritos. Great to satisfy a hangover! If you're looking to have ambiance and a upscale experience, you should look elsewhere. This would be considered a fast food establishment. The esthetics of the restaurant does not compare to the quality of food and for the cost. So happy we found Super Oscars!...p.s The carne asada fries, shrimp burrito (I get mine with pico added) and Oregon burrito (like a California burrito) are our faves. read more

If the food was consistently the same, I'd rate Super Oscar's higher. Unfortunately, my experiences have been hit and miss. The first time that I had the Chili Rellenos, I thought that I'd never want to try anything else. My plate came with a super simple, but superb Cheese Enchilada that automatically became my second favorite item to order. But Super Oscar's doesn't always produce what they've led me to expect. One to go order was completely missing the Chili Rellenos. Another had the Relleno but it was missing its all important cheese innards. The cheese enchilada in that order seemed to have been made without a ytortilla, the container just had cheese and sauce. I find the meat in the burritos to usually be tasty, even if it isn't always seasoned consistently. There's more than one cook in this kitchen and they don't necessarily agree on portions, spicing, etc. Don't get me wrong, I keep going because I think they do Mexican better than the other two places in town. I'd just like it to be as good every time read more

If there were a 0 star option I totally would give it to them they very well deserved it.. the food is nasty.! The service they give is not good either, literally my family and I waited longer for the food than what we sat and ate it! My sons taco was cold definitely not edible for a kid the meat was very cold. Not only that but had out order wrong. Mazatlan is down the street go there they are super good and Amazing service.! read more

This is a fast food restaurant. Order at counter and serve yourself. No chips and salsa. Employees rude and unhelpful. Asked about items on menus which were not described. Given brief and inaccurate info. Picked up food and it was so unrecognizable we had to ask what it was. Looked very unappetizing. Orders were filled wrong. Sauce and toppings omitted. Food was bad. Beef in burrito was tough fatty and grisly. No one finished their meal. Would not recommend or go back. read more

Casual, good food, creative menu, inexpensive. I liked the carnitas the best, we also had carne asada fries (interesting) and steak & chile relleno burrito - very good. I prefer black beans to retried beans but otherwise we all enjoyed our food. Fresh house made pico de gallo. read more

Cheap, large portions, fast service, great taste. We were looking for a good luck for our large fam. Tried coca-mocha joes a crossed the street only to find they were under construction. This place was across the street and great. read more

Great place to stop in for a Loco burrito. Hits the spot every time. I've tried many other items on the menu which have been good but my favorite is easily the Loco burrito. read more

Fast, friendly service, and with a smile! Delicious food. Great on portions, you actually get to taste the seasoned carne as ada, or carnitas, little filler of beans, rice, or potatoes. This was dinner two nights in a row. If you want yummy mexican food or something well worth your money, I highly recommend Oscar's! I would eat there instead of Taco Bell, or McDonald's for food to dollar ratio. read more

We live south of Oscars and find it worth the 50 minute round trip it takes! I am hooked on their loco and breakfast burritos--don't forget to ask for a burrito card, 10 or 12 and the next one's free. My SO is from southern California and although he says he has had better Mexican food, he is supremely satisfied with Oscar's and we keep going back for outrageously good food, giant servings and reasonable prices. read more

This place was a pleasant surprise. I visit Newport once or twice every year and I always look over it because lets be honest, it looks a little trashy. Me and my boyfriend were craving Mexican food and it was right by our hotel so we decided to give it a shot finally, and let me tell you we were not disappointed. My boyfriend order a breakfast burrito and I ordered a chimechonga. Not only was it cheap but they hooked it up FAT. Not to mention the guacamole was amazing. Definitely give this place a shot next time you visit. read more

We came here after a terrible experience at Fishtails Café near the Aquarium where we had waited over and hour and never got our food. We were starving when we got to Super Oscar's. We ordered a bean burrito, rolled taco's and chips & guacamole. The staff was super friendly. The food arrived quickly. Everything was hot and delicious! The burritos are huge! The homemade guacamole was delicious. This is seriously the best place for fast Mexican food in Newport. Will definitely come back again!! read more
