DO NOT GO HERE. On my first visit I got individual eyelashes done. It took over 2 hours but they looked great-they should for over $100. She forgot to apply my 15% off coupon and said I could use it next time. They lasted for the 4 weeks, as promised. When I went for a fill, the right eye looked sparse near my nose but I thought it was just me. I tried to use my 15% coupon but was told it was 6 months old and I could only have 10% off. After 2 weeks my right eye was sparse. I returned to the spa to show the difference between my eyes. The lady said that I probably rubbed my eye too much. She said I could get another fill. Fills are $75 and that's too much for every 2 weeks. She would not fix the right eye to match the other. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! The older woman cut underneath my nail with the nail drill, literally lacerated my skin underneath my nail spanning the length of my nail. The younger sweet nail tech saw my finger and she looked pretty alarmed. I got up and washed my finger then held pressure to get it to stop bleeding. I decide to proceed despite being extremely bothered. The old lady laughed every time I pulled my hand away when she'd irritate the cut. I thought maybe she felt awkward or embarrassed but retrospectively, I genuinely think she did think it was funny, because no fks were given at all by her. At the time, I figured it was just an accident went on trying to to be easy going and not make a big deal out of it despite it being the worse cut I've ever got at a nail salon. So it got worse... I went all out with the most expensive pedicure (VIP pedicure) figured she'd be more attentive or careful with the possibility of a higher tip or best case, I'd get someone else all together... no such luck. She burned me with the paraffin wax just liquid magma, the hot stones left circular red marks they were so hot, towels felt like boiling water leaving my legs red, and she doesn't do the 20min massage... the paraffin wasn't left on as long as it should of either which made me so much more annoyed... she burned me but didn't even allow it to work after burning me like what was the f'kin point, literally left it on long enough to burn me 2-3 mins then it was taken off immediately after it hardened so my skin didn't even get the oil from it. Later, I assume we're finished because she walks off to talk on the phone. I ask the guy at the front about the 20 min massage included for the VIP pedicure and how much they charge for massages because I wasn't paying for something I didn't get so I wanted the massage taken off. The massage was the only reason I got the VIP pedicure. The guy says oh she's going to do it and he starts yelling Vietnamese's to her with her in the back of the store. At this point, I don't want her or anyone near me I'm so mad just sitting there wasting time. I'm ready to leave after being burned multiple times and left in the chair for her to take her phone call. So the guy insisted she's going to do it and I'm like nah I don't want her touching me at all anymore I'm out of patience for anymore hot oils or hot stones. He starts trying to put the product on my leg to do it himself... I tell him I don't want it after all this ordeal, I just want to leave which I repeatedly tell him, yet he just proceeds like that's going to make it better. So I get up and walk to the front to stand at the counter with product running down my legs so he'll stop touching me. I was already livid telling him I didn't want it at this point multiple times because she obviously wasn't going to do it at all until I told him something, and the guy still has the audacity to charge me $120- the full price for the manicure and full price for the ViP pedicure when the 20 minute massage wasn't done combined with her burning me not once but three times AFTER cutting my finger open!!!!! At least take off whatever a 20min massage would cost and take off something, literally anything for the manicure, so it looks like you give a sh*t or I don't know APOLOGIZE. It was the most horrible experience I've ever had at a nail salon and I've had my cuticles cut pretty bad before. This woman shouldn't be touching people period she was the most horrible nail tech I've encountered in my entire life! I wouldn't go here just to avoid the chance she's your nail tech. She didn't seem to care at all and never apologized for anything. read more

Let me start off by saying that I never leave reviews. I found this nail salon when I was looking for someone to do my eyelashes and they were the only ones who had an opening. I went there got my lashes done for 35 dollars, got beautiful nails and was so happy. But the most amazing part of this salon is the way that they are so kind with friendly conversation and the guy who works there (I don't know his name) even played monster trucks with my son! It's not every day you find a salon that treats you like family! Highly recommend! read more

The guy who did my nails was very fast. Nice nail salon. Unfortunately the color I had to choose started chipping off of the tips of three or four of my nails on the fourth or fifth day after they were done. It was a gel color, and usually gel doesn't just chip off in less than a week. Maybe that particular color was old or something. I don't know why it would chip. I work out of state and I wad not going to be back in Tyler for at least three weeks, so I didn't call the salon to let them know about this issue. I really think there was something wrong with that polish. I'll just let them know next time I'm there. I have since purchased my own gel polish at another place, and l will bring it with me for him to use next time. read more

Extremely rude, rude comments about acne, constantly trying to force us to use power after several times refusing it. Their place is dirty not clean barely any people or staff took forever to be seated or acknowledged. Gloves were also extremely nasty. I recommend going any place but this place. read more

I went here to get my nails done because of the great reviews on google. I was extremely disappointed. What I got was not what I had originally asked for, and I had to compromise multiple times. When the man who was helping me cut my nails shorter because I asked he said that if I went any shorter he would be unable to do the design that I wanted, so I asked if he would be able to do it at the current length they were and he said yes. Halfway through the first nail he changed his mind and so we agreed on a two tone ombré, and whenever I got the chance to looked at one hand when he moved on to the next I was extremely disappointed in the result because he had left some white spots even after we agreed not to do that anymore. When he noticed I was upset and I explained to him that this wasn't what we had agreed on not only did he laugh at me but as did the other staff. By the time he had finished my nails were extremely thick and unevenly filed. I was so tired of being in the same chair for the past couple of hours or so by the time he was done, so instead of risking being laughed at and disrespected again I decided to pay my bill and leave. If I could give zero stars I would! It took over 3 hours for a simple manicure with clear polish and a pedicure today. The woman who did my pedicure did it so fast I think she won the worlds record for fastest pedicure in the world. Came in today to give myself a pre-birthday manicure. The nails looked okay as I glanced them over before leaving but less than a hour later I began noticing lumpy areas on a few of them. They came out very thick but I was willing to overlook that. My nails feel very tender and sore and after asking some friends and reading online it's more than likely that the nail tech used the drill a bit too much on my nail. Unfortunately her experience wasn't pleasant at all, she was actually sexually harassed by the older man who did her nails, he made comments about her derrière. Don't get your lashes done here! Worst job ever! I tried to get the tech to fix them.before I left and she said she could not fix them. There were gaps and did not stay on one full day. I called the owner Jon to complain the same day and he wanted me to come back so they could fix them. I asked for a refund but he just wanted to offer service. Very disappointed. Go to Glamor Nail.
