The JVA moving crew were meticulous in packing our belongings- it was dumping rain and they wrapped just about everything we owned to ensure it did not get wet; we didn't even have to ask, they just did their thing! And FAST. The load and unload time was extremely impressive, and the men who worked on our move- Tom, Cale, and Tyler, were so respectful and considerate- totally went above and beyond. Not a single item was broken or damaged; which is to be expected with pretty much every move. My wife was also extremely impressed with their work ethic and manners. The guys called me about 45 minutes before the window of arrival to say that they could be at my place in 20 minutes if that was okay (much appreciated). They were courteous, professional, made sure all my things were where I wanted them (offered to move things around for me several times), and made sure that I was 100% satisfied before leaving. Due to life hitting me like a bunch of bricks I wasn't able to be fully packed like I usually am, so I sprung for the full service move and they handled my items and possessions as if they were their own. They packed my old apartment quickly and efficiently, at our new place they dropped boxes in the correct rooms, asked for guidance on some furniture and even set up our beds and labeled certain boxes to be opened first (for things that you'd need quickly, like food in the kitchen, or personal items for the bathrooms). While I hope not to need their service for a while because I'm in love with my new place, if and when we need to move again we will always reach out to them first! There was also an issue with my roommate's bed, where they had to break a few of the screws in order to disassemble it properly (we bought it fully assembled), and they made sure we were fully informed while doing that and let her know that she would have to buy new ones. For reference, our 2b2b apartment move with a ~10 min address shift took about 4 hours. Overall they were friendly, courteous, and efficient - I would definitely recommend them!

It's hard to find good movers that aren't crazy expensive, and HT was worth every penny and then some.
