It's just a 2 chair shop, and Carl is the only guy there! He told me that mornings are his busy time, so afternoons are the best to get in there. (Luckily I got there at like 2) Carl is a pretty nice guy and does a decent cut for a decent price ($13 as of the time of this review) He does take debit cards, which my old barber never did (not saying that's bad) He's on an end unit, in a small strip mall and it doesn't look like parking is a big problem unless you're pulling a trailer! My son and I have been using this studio for years, and it's a great place to see the difference between whatever you get at Fantastic Sam's versus what an actual hair studio can be when it comes to getting a hair and beard trim, especially as a male. I didn't realize the difference before, but now I do, and I'd never have it any other way. Also, hot towels. I love hot towels. They have hot towels--and yes, a lot of places have them--but the way Modern Man uses them makes the experience that much better. And unlike some other male-oriented salons, they don't do the awkward neck massage with a little vibrating massager that's supposed to make a difference. It doesn't. The only difference it makes is increasing the chance I'll never return to that place. Modern Man has the formula down.
