Had Gage come and clean the grill and also put new burners in. I sent photos of burners I was going to purchase to the owner and he said that they should work. Gage called me and told me they weren't the exact size but should work fine so I told him to go ahead. The channel on the new burners flamed up and wouldn't lessen taking away the ability to use the back half of the grill. When I called to report this to Gage one of his answers was it's a big grill just use the rest of it. He was so argumentative and never took any responsibility for the issue. I spoke to the owner who said he'd come and take a look and never heard from him again. I do not recommend this company obviously. Decent job cleaning but not repairs which they said they'd do and charged me a pretty penny to do so. read more

Horrible service, customer service and a total scam. Very dishonest and unprofessional. First they charge $65 for estimate without giving you any prices. I knew 2 valve needed to be replaced but he lied and said maybe after washing it gets fixed. Then I had to call him 4 times he gives the estimate of $760. I was shocked and asked him just to chabge the 2 valve and inhad those too. He said he charges $225 just to chavge the 2 valve that I bought it already. And when I questioned the high price he said he won't send his worker for less that that and he said he doesn't want to do the job. $65 was promised to be credited on the job he would do. So $65 is gone. Just charging that from 4-5 people is enough to run the business. Sends out fliers every week for special and this is what he (Darrell) does. Very rude too. read more

$40 to tell me my grill needs to be replaced and they won't clean it. Gave me directions to a BBQ Store that might have products, and offered a discount if I buy the parts and ask them to install. The guy was pleasant enough, but honestly, just kind of felt like $40 for about a 3 minute visit to tell me they can't help. I paid without complaining because I agreed to the terms before they came , but can't say I recommend this business-- I expected a lot more, even if they couldn't clean it. We use our Traeger Timberline 850 smoker pretty much every day, and after 3 years it needed some serious TLC. We shopped around to get quotes, and Darrin was competitive and local. He called before arriving during his appointment window, and worked hard for over 2 hours on our smoker. He confirmed the quote he'd given by phone with us before he got started, and was in general very nice and professional. The smoker looks good as new! He used major elbow grease and a variety of tools, and it's shiny like the day we got it. We'll definitely have him back for our other smoker and gas grill, and yearly to keep them looking sharp. read more

I found Super Clean BBQ through a Google search on cleangrillsoflosangeles.com. Within a few hours of my online inquiry, Darrin called me with a quote to clean and sanitize my horribly neglected Weber 6 burner Summit grill. Since he was going to be in Los Angeles the following day, he fit me into his schedule. He showed up early (which I always appreciate) and cleaned my grill in just under 3 hours. My grill is now sparkly clean and I can't wait to use it. I know now I need it properly cleaned annually and won't hesitate to call Darrin again next year. Don't waste your time with these guys. Extremely unprofessional. Darrin had come out a few years ago and I was very happy with his work at that time. So I scheduled them to come out again. On the day they were supposed to show up (Friday) I got a call letting me know that he had been injured and would need to reschedule. No problem I said, I'm out of town for a few days so lets find the first available when I'm back. We rescheduled for 10 days later. They then proceeded to show up on the following Monday while I was out of town. They then called/texted me repeatedly until I had to excuse myself from a work meeting to let them know that No, they weren't supposed to be there for another week and No, I didn't want them to do the service while I wasn't home. Fast forward ten days later, and Gage is supposed to show up at my house at 8AM and give me a call when he's on his way. I get a call at 7:30 letting me know he's outside and ready to go. No problem, he's early. Would have been nice to get the advance call but whatever. I let Gage into the backyard, open the grill and he proceeds to tell me that I've been cooking with too much oil (I only use oil occasionally and sparingly when I cook fish), the grill looks really dirty and he doesn't want to do the job. I tell him that I have bids from other cleaning services but I've used Superclean before and was hoping to give them the business. Gage says, "If there's someone else who is willing to do this you should have them do it. This grill looks pretty dirty and I think it's going to be a lot of work, so I'm good." I guess I figured that a grill cleaning service would come out and clean my grill. But not if it's dirty. Only if it's a little bit dirty. Trust me there are other cleaning services out there. Way more professional and with similar or lower prices. Superclean BBQ has lost my business and my referrals. Find another service and don't waste your time with these guys. read more

I have used Darrin and his service since I first purchased my Lynx bbq about 7 years ago. I've had both Darrin and Gage clean my bbq and both are very professional and provide outstanding service! I typically take advantage of his early bird service in the offseason for a discount. Now I'm preparing for a huge end of summer bbq and again Gage is here doing a great job of making my bbq look like new. If you own an expensive bbq like my Lynx or just a cheapo bbq and use it as heavily as I do it's going to get filthy. Scratches were put on the stainless steel bbq. Call the owner told him what my husband and I saw after the job was complete. Sent pictures and the business owner came over to see and said he could hardly see them even though it was evident they were there and plenty of them. He brushed it off and inferred we were lying that they were there prior to the cleaning. Said nothing could be done and if weren't satisfied next time hire someone else! No compensation was offered and a very weak apology. In essence too bad and I've got your money! I hadn't cleaned my Weber since I bought it about 5 years ago and I was starting to get grease fires, so I had to do something. It was in very bad shape and I was considering just getting a new one, but decided to give cleaning a try since BBQs are a lot more expensive than a cleaning. I wasn't optimistic though. Darrin was responsive, on-time and spent a long time on it. Afterwards it was cleaner than I thought was possible considering the shape it was in. I called Darrin from all the fabulous reviews from Nextdoor.com. Price is vey fair compared to the prices I found online with local competitors. The results is not on the Looks, it's in the cooking. Today I bbq'd veggies and Korean bbq and it cooks the better then I could remember. My grill is at least 10 yrs old, a built from bbq galore. I've used Darrin 6 months prior and although he showed up 4 hours early I thought I would give him another try. Today we were set up for 8 - 9 am and no one showed. I called Darrin after 9 am and he told me the tech had to go back to finish work from Sunday. He said a tech would be out by 11 am. However, another person (Gage) called minutes later saying he was filling in for someone who is out sick and would be here in 20 minutes. I will not use this company again. I need a company that is on time, honest and professional. For the amount they charge for a small 3 burner grill, ($260) for less than an hour's work, I expect better. read more

I'm pretty disappointed. When I called to set-up the appointment, the receptionist said they could repair the broken door and fix the ignition lighter. The technician said he would do these repairs, but at the end, he didn't fix anything. My BBQ is clean, but it still needs repairs.
