This is the guy you want. Have you found that repair/service guy who is a true professional--speaks to you on the phone to understand your needs; explains the options and the costs; shows up on time (not a window, but an actual specified time); comes ready to work, tools in hand, when he shows up at your door; stocks the most common parts so that he can fix many things on the spot; has the experience and skill to diagnose and properly address the issue, correctly, the first time; is neat and respectful of property; and is an all-around nice and pleasant person to work with? Yeah, me neither. Until I had the great fortune of calling Frank, The Grill Man to repair a couple of issues with my grill. He was all of the above, plus the price was exactly as quoted on the phone. In and out, no fuss, no muss. I only wish that he did other repairs so that I can use him again. But I definitely would not hesitate to call him again for future grill needs. If you have an issue with your grill, this is the guy you want. read more

Frank does an exceptional job and is reasonably priced. He responds quickly to phone calls and is great to work with.

We were looking into repair and cleaning of our patio BBQ and found "The Grill Man" and his great reviews. We were not disappointed because after looking at sad old BBQ he gave an acessment and gave us the news it was beyond repair. He recommended a new Grill and directed us where to purchase it online. One week later he returned and installed a gorgeous shiny new BBQ. Frank is strong as an Ox and even hauled away the old dead grill. He is prompt, honest, knowledgeable and reasonable with his price. My husband doesn't like many people, but he liked Frank. Give him a call. read more

The Grill Man - Look at my shiny new BBQ thanks to Frank @ The Grill Man. - Grilling Equipment Near Me

Frank did a great job. Brought our old DCS grill back to life. Prompt service and great follow up.

I had to have my grill changed from propane to natural gas. He just doesn't add an attachment and leave. I learned a lot about orifices and watch him drill them out. I hope I described that right, possibly not. I felt very reasonable for what he did. He's very thorough to make sure everything is working correctly. I would highly recommend him. read more

Frank just serviced my grill and I think it's better now than when I moved in 10 years ago. After taking it apart and checking and replacing the igniter he cleared all the burner holes and adjusted the airflow. I now have a more even flame and heat over the entire grilling surface. We sure love Frank, the Grill Man. We recently purchased a house in Sun City Shadow Hills with a grill. Wanting a fresh start at the new house - we asked Frank to come out, inspect the grill and give it a nice cleaning. Frank did NOT mince words with us about the condition of the grill ... and gave us 100% the straight skinny. We found him honest, extremely knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond for us. He passed along such great information on grill operations, and gave us tips on keeping the grill clean with safe products. He's the guy for grills in the area! read more

This is a thank you to Frank. My grill would not ignite. I called a couple of grill shops including the one I bought it from and left a voice mail message. Only the Grill Man returned my call. When I talked to him he took the time to listen to my problem and then went on to say that that he thought I should be able to take care of the problem myself and explained what I needed to do. He was correct-even though I am not the least bit handy, it was a simple fix. So all the reviews about the Grill Man being special are true. He didn't have to do this and could simply have set up a service call and gotten paid. I don't know of any other service provider who would have done this. read more

If you have gotten this far you really don't need to read any further, you have definitely found the right guy. I did not even know such a service existed, but I was desperately googling how to fix my 15-20+ year old grill that was a hot mess and somehow found The Grill Man in my search. My grill is so old and the company was barely in business long enough to only make a couple models with zero parts available online, yet Frank somehow managed to resurrect it and bring it to life again. He was really friendly, incredibly knowledgeable (and willing to teach you!) and highly skilled. Do yourself a favor now that you've discovered him and call him pronto. read more

I recommend Frank "The Grill Man" very highly. I called him while he as on vacation. He called back on Sunday and made an appointment for Tuesday and arrived exactly on time. I had already ordered the parts from Fisher & Paykel which he installed after he cleaned the grill. After installation, he installed a much needed regulator. Frank took the time to explain how to properly operate the grill, how to avoid a grease fire (which he pointed out had occurred in the grill) and the real fine points of operating the grill. It's an old DCS grill that the previous condo owners had installed years ago. Now it's like new all thanks to Frank. My grill had been unused for several years and developed a small gas leak. Frank was able to diagnose the problem and quickly fix the leak. The whole repair job was completed in less than 2 hours! He also cleaned the grill, inspected numerous other areas, and showed me how to use some features I wasn't familiar with. This is a great example of a person that takes pride in their work and delivers on their promises of doing high-quality work at a very fair price! Frank "The Grill Man" is an absolute gem and professional. We called him to surprise my parents with a repaired gas BBQ and not only did Frank fix the issue, he told us WHY it was happening and various ways to alleviate the problem. We are not "slap a band aid on it" people so we went with what was best for the grill long term. He was very competitive with his pricing, prompt, professional, courteous, and even checked back in to make sure we were good. We were beyond good. My parents now have a "Grill man" and will recommend him to all of their neighbors in Trilogy. Thank you Frank for making my parents anniversary gift so special! read more

The Grill Man - Back up and running! - Grilling Equipment Near Me

Frank was able to fix the heat issue I had with my 15+ year old BBQ in about 1/2 hour. I thought I was going to need a new BBQ! He got it working temporarily so I could continue to use it until the new parts arrived. Very knowledgeable and great to work with. He arrived when he said he would. I got the BBQ from a friend 10 years ago and he was the one that set it up for me back then. I won't hesitate to call Frank again! read more

I will recommend Frank to my friends. I moved to my Palm Springs home back in May. The previous owners left behind files on how things work around the house and the BBQ file had a receipt from "The Grill Man" dated two years ago to service my Cal-Flame drop-in grill. Frank returned my call same-day and set an appointment for 3 days later. He was right on time; possibly a few minutes early. In a fairly short amount of time, he had it cleaned up nicely and then took the time to show me how it works - including the items that didn't work and explained why they were not worth replacing, mainly due to grill age and parts availability. All in all, he was very knowledgeable and gave pointers on how to keep my grill in good, clean working order. He even provided guidance on what to look for in a replacement if, and when, my 12-year old grill does give up the ghost. And no, he wasn't trying to steer me to his best friend in the grill business. I'm glad the prior owners of my home used Frank in the past as I plan to do so again, in the future. read more

Knowledgeable, experienced, timely and very professional. Hard to find quality service in desert. He does a great job

Frank was great! I had an igniter issue with my Viking BBQ and, after I explained the issue, we made an appointment. Well, unlike most service providers who insist on a large window (I'll be there between noon and 3:00, for example). We agreed on a time and he arrived 15 minutes early (he said, folks usually don't get upset if you arrive a bit early like they do if you are late). After cleaning the bbq, he replaced the burned out igniter and said I didn't need to replace the other one as it was fine. His cost was fair and he was very friendly as well. I will add that I had another guy come out earlier and he said he'd have to order the part and get back to me. After two weeks, I looked on Amazon and it had the part that this other guy seemingly couldn't find! I think he lost interest because I didn't want to pay him a Lot to thoroughly clean the BBQ, which really didn't need it. This guy never got back to me and didn't return calls. Bottom line, if you want quick, efficient repairs to your bbq by a nice guy that shows up at the appointed hour, you can not do better than Frank, THE GRILL MAN. read more

I've hired Frank off and on for a couple years and he never disappoints. He has certainly rescued me on a number of occasions when I could not have served my friends and family. Truly a great customer service. Mike was early for his appointment (both times). On his first trip cleaned and diagnosed the issue with my old Ducane grill and was able to order parts for it. Additionally, he cleaned it completely and tuned up all of the knobs and other moving parts. The parts for the grill arrived a week later and he came and installed them and then cleaned the grill again! Super great Job!!! read more

The igniter was not working on my grill when I attempted to fire it up. I called Frank on Thursday and he was able to set up an appointment for a repair on Saturday. He arrived when he said he would and did a FANTASTIC job. He cleaned up the grill and then replaced a part that got the grill working again. He also explained that the part he had replace was no longer available but was able to replace it with a newer version. I believe his pricing is very fair considering all the work he had to do. I will be using his services again in the future if and when my grill needs repair. I highly Recommend him. Thank you Frank ! read more

Just used the Grill Man, Frank, to service my Lynx grill that was not getting hot. I am in La Quinta and he arrived on time (actually early) and knew exactly what to do. Grill now heats to 500 degrees in no time. He made minor adjustments and changed out the regulator at a more then fair price. I post very very seldom but Frank was so good I had to do this.
