This is hands down the worst experience I've had in my entire career and that's saying a lot given that I manage over 20 Airbnb properties. The level of unprofessionalism is unbelievable. Communication is practically nonexistent: messages go unanswered, follow-ups are ignored, and jobs are left pending for months with zero accountability. When the work was finally done, it was shockingly poor. Cheap igniter buttons were installed that literally melt after a few uses, creating a serious and unacceptable fire hazard. Instead of taking responsibility, this provider excels at one thing only: excuses. No solutions. No urgency. No ownership. If you value your time, money, property, or basic safety, stay far away. This service is unreliable, unsafe, and a complete waste of resources. I wouldn't recommend this vendor to anyone--ever. read more

A1 BBQ Grill Cleaning - BBQ - Grill Services Near Me - Coachella, California

We used A1 BBQ Cleaner 4 years to clean a BBQ and they did a fantastic job so after moving to a new house we needed the existing BBQ that was at least 15 years old cleaned. The pictures tell 1,000 words. I called them on Monday and they arrived the next day. It took about 2 hours and I couldn't be happier. They are a great value for the time they put in. read more

3 times a no-show. I'm truly disappointed as most of the Yelp reviews are highly complimentary. The first no-show, he said he had forgotten about a doctor appointment and had written down my phone number incorrectly so, was unsuccessful reaching me. We rescheduled. The morning of the second appointment, I texted when late. He texted back to say he forgot to write down our rescheduled appointment so, we booked a third appointment. The day of the 3rd appointment, I called when he was 30 minutes late from the time he had promised me he would show up. My call went to his voicemail that was full so, I texted. It's now 10 days later and I have not received a reply. I can only hope the best for him as I look for someone else to clean my BBQ. read more

New to the area, we found we had inherited a disgustingly dirty built in outdoor grill in our new home. I reached out to three companies for a quote and Chris was the first to respond. He immediately provided a fair quote and set reasonable expectations. And, he was able to accommodate our crazy work schedules. Here's a recap of my 5-star experience. Chris arrived early to service our bbq and was super Covid responsible. He did a superb job cleaning the bbq and made it look like new. He also identified some problems with one of the burners. He helped me order a replacement and then returned to install it--at no extra charge. read more

Had a terrible time with Chris and would caution you against him. I reported an issue with some of my gas grill's igniters but instead of fixing those he cleaned the grill and charged me $350 and my grill still wasn't fixed. He then quoted me an additional $335 to fix the issue I reported to him and needed $100 of that paid up front. I reluctantly agreed because I was pressed for time and he came and removed all of my existing igniters to order new parts. After a month and a half of him not returning my messages mixed in with a few false commitments I finally got my $100 back but he never returned my old parts which were at least partially working. Terrible unprofessional service with a complete lack of accountability. read more

I called and they showed up where and when they were supposed to. Chris was going to order me a new igniter for my BBQ and replace the brickettes but never returned any of my call or texts. This is the third time I've used Chris to clean our 36 inch built in BBQ. I don't know how Chris does it but when he leaves my 14 year old BBQ looks like we just took it out of the box! I'm not exaggerating. Chris gets every part of the BBQ - the grills, the burners, the underside of the hood - absolutely clean. Do not hesitate. Chris is also prompt and has always shown up exactly as promised. read more

What an amazing Job Chris did!!!!! I have been in my house for 3 years. I haven't had the grill cleaned and not sure if it was ever cleaned before I moved in. And with all the sand storms we have had, it was a mess! From my first inquiry, his communication has been quick and very good. He is extremely detailed and gets in all the nooks and crannies. I was amazed he was able to bring my grill back to looking like new. And parts that didn't work, do now. I am very happy and would highly recommend his service. I reached out to A1 BBQ last minute to request some information on repairing my BBQ - Chris stopped by the same day for a free quote. Chris and an associate came over to clean my grill. Did a good job. He noticed that we have a propane grill but had it connected to a natural ugas line. Suggested that we change to gas with a conversion kit that he could install. We agreed. Said it would cost $125 extra and asked if we could pay him up front so he could order the parts. We agreed and gave him the cash. This guy has never shown up. We probably spoke to him over a dozen times and he has had excuses each time. Found out through Yelp that he has done this to other customers several times. Stay away from this guy. He is a liar and a crook. Steve W. read more

I had A1 come out to clean my grill and would give them 6 stars if I could. Prompt and friendly. Reasonably priced considering how clean the thing was. Definitely give them my highest recommendation! read more

This service flaked on us twice. Not reliable at keeping to appointments.

I contacted A-1 & understood a quote of $125 to clean my grill. They arrived this morning at my home & finished the job in a little over an hour. When I went to pay them, I was told the cost would be $325. The grill is stainless steel, two burners with a rotisserie, & a S/S base, so not very large & the inside was not very dirty or greasy. There were some marks & burn damage to the outside & removing this left some abrasions on the surface, which I could accept in order to clean it. The gentlemen then called his boss & came back with a price of $225 after being told I understood it to be $125. I gave him $200 & told him I didn't have any more cash. Based on this experience I would neither use or recommend them to others in need of this service. read more

Very prompt and knowledgeable. They were fair and very thorough. Would highly recommend for anyone with built in bbq. Thanks guys!

We just had our Lynx 36' built in grill deep cleaned by Christian. He did an amazing job, cleaned up after himself, no mess what so ever. He was on time, took 3-4 hours to clean, most of all fixed the igniter knob and our BBQ looks new again. I would highly recommend him! Thank you Chris! read more

I just had Chris come out to repair my Grand Turbo Barbecues Galore barbecue. Igniter problem and a small gas leak. He showed up on time and did a remarkable job. Fixed it up in an hour and offered to clean it for a small extra charge which was very generous of him. He was very determined to fix the gas leak which, if you know the Grand Turbo, is a complicated event. He didn't give up and finally got it sealed. Bravo Chris. The grill now looks almost new (it's 8 years old). I highly recommend his work. Thanks Chris. read more

I had a great experience with Chris. Did a wonderful complete and detailed job. I will use him again.

reliable, honest, hard working, young man. i called up to get a quote to clean my outdoor grill and kitchen. i also told him i was told one of the burners had a leak. he put me right away into his schedule. this is a second home for me and im not always here. christian arrived on time, very clean cut young man. very polite . looked over everything and called me out and tested everything in front of me. he inspected my water line to the outside kitchen as well. then he went to work on my grill for hours. bringing it back to almost new. i really appreciated everything he did. i have had him back a couple of more times and hired him to do other work for me. he is dependable ; hard working, and polite. i would definitely give christian a call. excellent service. thank you read more

Completely unreliable. I have tried to use A1 BBQ twice now and both times they did not show up at the initially committed time. Then said they would be out the next day - on the first attempt they missed the appointment altogether and came out the next day but four hours after they said they would be here! On the second attempt they never showed up, did not answer the phone nor did they return my call. Horrible business approach. Very dissatisfied. read more

Initially I was impressed with how quickly Chris responded. He gave me a reasonable price to clean my grill. I agreed to the price and attempted to schedule an appointment on two separate occasions.
