The churro is filled with the filling but don't let it fool you it's only one bite and the rest of the churro has no filling.

I ordered three bags of churros--one with filling and two without. I paid $31 in total. When I tried the churros with filling, I took a bite and was disappointed. The filling was only on the tip/begi of the churro, while the rest was empty. It was all of the churros with relleno. I'm so upset. I won't be returning to this place. It's a 0/10.

If it's good quality churros that you're looking for, look no further. See, I've been to other Churro carts in the Bay Area, but Super Churros has got the righteous taste in their dough. I think it's something in the quality of their ingredients, especially their flour. The dough brings you back for more. They'll even taste just as good the next day. Even when when their churros are NOT served piping hot (it has happened), I'd still rank these as my, "#1 Bay Area Churros". I love how their cinnamon- sugar blend clings onto the delightful churro dough so well. You just have to try their Original (non-filled) to understand what I've been saying. Believe me, it's better than the city-renowned ones in San Jose and Hayward (you know, the ones I'm referring to). Super Churros is located by Fuhrman Printing & Graphics (at the corner) of 23rd St. and Andrade. It stands as a nice, little cart and I'm surprised they even serve tacos (which I've never had). It's within the streets of Richmond, so come for the views! And there's a big U-Haul Warehouse across!

OH MY WORD! Warm, soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. Great ratio of cinnamon and sugar and they have warm filling options. They sell fresh hand made Churros here, bananas and even Tacos. Tiny little enclosed cart on the Corner of 23rd, so tiny that I drove by and missed it twice. Playing loud music that was a nod back to when my parents were younger, love songs. You walk up order through a side window and then wait to be called to pick up this decadent dessert. Totally worth the wait and trip. The churros can be ordered with no filling, individually or in bags. Fillings are Cajeta(similar to caramel), Vanilla or Strawberry. My son opted for the Cajeta. The filling was abundant, warm and just oozed rich caramel. So worth the trip to Richmond. We went out on a cold rainy night and it was just what our souls needed.

I was craving churros and so we found this cute little churro truck open on a Tuesday night. There are plenty of parking spots in front of the food truck. They also sell tacos but just opted for the regular churro. Order and pay on on side and pick up on the other side of the truck. The churro was fresh, the cinnamon sugar coating was a bit uneven but tasty. ***Cash only

So delicious the first day I got the caramel filled because it was the first batch off the line. Today's batch didn't taste as fresh....that was a bummer. Very nice employees. Hours are irregular. Cash only. Located at the corner of 23rd and Andrade.

The churros are pretty good. The area is small so it nice to just grab a quick sweet bite to eat due to no place for sitting. The service is pretty fast so you're not standing for a long time. As far as pricing it's decent not to expensive for the quality. I would recommend to just get the bag of 6 as the filled churros are more costly i.e being two dollars more.

Really delicious churros on 23rd St! I honestly like how it their hours are at night time since that's usually when I crave a sweet snack. The filled churros are crisp and don't taste too overwhelming, making them a tasty treat. If I were to rank them, it would be vanilla is best, then caramel, and then strawberry. The staff work pretty fast and are super nice. I like how they have a system of distance when ordering because it shows that they take COVID seriously. If you're going to try it, note that Super Churros is a cash only business!

The best and only churros around. Churros are super inexpensive at around 4$ for 4 or 5. Come in a variety of fillings including strawberry, vanilla, and caramel (cajeta). Cash only so don't come with a card. Served piping hot and fresh out of a vat of oil. Can be kind of greasy but oh man are they sinfully delicious read more

Love Super Churros! Quick churros?? YES! Quick churros with filling on the inside?? HELL YEA!! Churros are always crunchy on the outside and the filling is always super hot on the inside! Be careful when eating them! It's so hard bc you're so tempted to dive right in and eat it right away! Love the caramel and vanilla ones! As someone who has gone to Mexico, this place is just as good! I mean California was technically part of Mexico but that's for another story. My favorite churros are the ones with cajeta and now they sell tacos!!!!! Omg the tacos are so good I had the asada, al pastor, and chicharon! Me and my dads fav was the chicharon but all of the ones we tried were hella good. I'm so happy they sell them now! read more

I am always a sucker for nice owners/great service and this is one of those places. The churros are outstanding and a great late night treat option, but it's even nicer just because the owner is really kind. Bring cash! I've enjoyed the fried plantains, the vanilla churro and strawberry. The strawberries are real and the churro isn't overly sweat so it totally works. I'm coming back to try it all! read more

It seems it is hard finding a good place that sells churros. Well... Those days are over! A small part of Mexico is upon us yet again in Richmond! Churros with filling is a plus! Atole y platano fritos! Oh my! The hours I'm not familiar with but it is open and outside in the evening but I don't see it past 10 o'clock pm. This is a street vendor so you'll be looking for a small white little trailer. You'll find it past the ranching market and subway parking lot. $5 for a bag of churros! $1 for 1 churro. Strawberry, vanilla and caramel fillings are on the menu. Those ballpark churros should ashamed to call those churros for $4! Greasy yes, but these are yummy! Pretty thick and good size churros! They are warm, yummy, and you will want mlre than 1! Well worth for a evening snack! Another gem that Richmond has to offer! Who would turn down a churro anyways?! If you're on a budget then take George Lopez's advice to share... "Lick it and pass it!" Hey! No Juan messes with my Churros! Haha. Give this place a try. Delicious gooey churros that are piping hot! My fav is dulce de leche. Lady behind window isn't the friendliest but one day I was short some cents and she let it slide. :) Don't go by Yelp business hours because I tried going on a Sunday night around 9pm and couldn't find cart. Good thing is that you can call the number listed on Yelp and they'll tell you where they're located. read more

Ummm, been looking for the Churro Guy in Hayward, but somehow he seems to be a mythological character cuz we can never find him. But what did we stumble upon driving through the streets the other night? The Super Churro cart! Total SCORE! Freshly made, nice and warm, and a perfect mix of sugar and cinnamon. The Churros were not fresh, which was disappointing. It may have been due to it being late in the day, but there seemed to be quite a lot of cooked churros pilled up under a warmer. I'm curious to try a fresh one or a filled one another time, but my first experience wasn't promising. read more

Their opening time says 5pm-10pm. I got there at 5:30pm and the guy who owned the churro stand was just getting there. I asked what time they will open and he said 20-30 minutes, so I waited. I waited until 6:15pm and they still didn't open so I decided to leave. While waiting I saw other customers come and go because they saw the churro stand not open. Very disappointing to watch time go by without anybody coming out to acknowledge their delay and information about their opening hours. I won't even bother going back. read more

This churro truck has changed owner and named now super churro. I came when they had old owner the churro were so good and big and fresh. Then I came back with new owner you can taste difference. The churro are super hard and hurt your teeth in a way. Came back again thought maybe they were just hard that one time. No nothing changed there still super hard and taste like they been sitting there all day and she just puts hot caramel inside and think people won't know the difference. Churros were one of my favorite treats as a child! Where I grew up in El Centro, we had a lot of people with carts wandering around. You had the corn guy. You had the popsicles with fruit in them guy. You had the pork rinds and wagon wheel looking thingies guy. The tamale lady came door to door. And then there was the churro guy. Oh yes. Give me some of that crunchy, fluffy, soft in the middle cinnamon and sugar childhood goodness, please. When I was a kid, I never had churros that were filled, but the caramel was pretty good, too. For some reason when we rolled by at 7, it was all closed up, but the lights were on. At 8:30, however, they were back, and I was so, so, so happy. They also serve fried plantains. Some time when I want to convince myself that bananas are lower carb than churros and thus, ok for my low carb diet, I'll get some, because fried plantains are legit AF too, but... ...but churros. read more

One day I began seeing a red food truck from my office window, as opposed to the plain unmarked white one. It turns out to be Golden Gate Bistro, who specializes in burgers made to order. I tried both the Akaushi Cheeseburger and Grilled Chicken Sandwich and can recommend both. Akaushi is from Japanese Brown cows, and one of several sources of Wagyu. It'll cost more than In and Out or Habit Grill but its justifiable with the juicy burger. I also love their thick-cut, perfectly seasoned fries. If burgers aren't your thing, they also offer up smoked ribs, Impossible burgers, and the usual Mexican favorites like Quesadillas.

There is a wonderful mural of a food truck on the Rumrill entrance with the images of the Aztec legend Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl, and the Virgin Guadalupe. Inside is a simple diner setting with counter seating where you can watch your food being cooked and prepared. There are also a couple of tables with chairs alongside the windows. I ordered a single quesabirria taco, hubby an asada super burrito that came with tortilla chips. Our food was done fairly quickly. Both came with pickled jalapeno and carrots, fresh radish slices, and little cups of hot sauce. My taco was filled with a thick layer of meat and cheese, garnished inside with cilantro and onion. I added the radish and carrots to cut the richness of the meat and nibbled on the jalapeno between bites. Delish! My hubby's burrito was filled with 2/3 meat and the other 1/3 of beans and rice. It was very filling and he ended up taking half of it home. The chips were fine. We sat at the counter, ate and watched as he was heating up a pot of something, presumably for the truck outside. Kitty corner from us, we were treated to a guy spouting off religion in Spanglish to the cars waiting for the light to change. If I'm going to comment, that guy could use a better sound system. After getting FRESH churros from Brazil, I was on the hunt for a good churro cart back in the States. Small, crunchy, warm churros... ahhhh... Nonetheless I found myself driving from SF to Richmond just to satisfy this craving. The cart is parked in a small strip mall parking lot and looks exactly as pictured, with the same menu and prices. Ordered: 3 filled churros $5 (Vanilla, Caramel & Strawberry) - First glance, they were a LOT bigger than expected. Roughly the diameter of a half dollar. The Strawberry filling just tasted like it was filled with strawberry jam...wasn't a big fan. The Vanilla was also nothing spectacular...almost like a bland custard. My favorite was the Caramel..sugary, sweet, melty goodness. Maybe because the churros were so big, the insides were slightly soggy. Especially when you got to the closed end, it got a little doughy. Otherwise, the outside crunch was still there. However, I would have to say I do favor the smaller, CRUNCHIER churros better. The owner was very friendly and offered a lot of suggestions. They also have popcorn churros (smaller), maybe I'll have to try those next time :) read more

Okay, so I think I've cracked the Churro code. After searching in vain for the churro truck 2 weekends ago, I found it two days in a row. It was in the Rancho Market parking lot at 7 PM on a Saturday. There was one dude in there who told me he didn't speak english, but it was the same truck. I imagine it's there often from these reviews. 11A-3P, Sundays, in front of St. Cornelius Church at Macdonald and 28th. I confirmed this with another guy who spoke english working the truck alongside the first guy. Churros are still great, we got the bolsa and a caramel-filled churro. The caramel-filled wasn't filled all the way, but it was tasty carmel. The bolsa this time around was more organized and less broken up, but that was probably because it was right at the start of the day. I wish this truck would come to off the grids or things like that, but I also like it being a secret gem that everyone at St. Cornelius church clearly knows about. read more
