I'm not sure there are many better things in the world than a good, crispy piece of fried chicken…read more When I think about bb.q Chicken, I can hear the food as well. The crunch rings through my head so vividly, it is almost as if I am eating it at this moment. Now I want fried chicken again. This spot does Korean fried chicken and they do it really well. I think bb.q Chicken can get quite pricey, but the quality of the food is worth it in my eyes. If you want to save some money, I recommend going for lunch. You can have some chicken and fries for a fair price when you get their combo. Otherwise, you have plenty of options for different flavors/sauces for your either boneless or bone in wings. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with most options. I've had the pleasure of trying a bunch of different flavors and there are certainly some stand out ones that cannot go wrong. The original is no frills, straight up savory crunch. It is simplicity at its finest. I also think the soy garlic is good, it has a nice savory flavor that doesn't overwhelm your taste buds. Lastly, the Gangam Style ones have been a recent favorite of mine. Imagine a black pepper steak from a Chinese takeout, that is your flavor. Although the flavors vary between these chickens, the crunch and juiciness reigns supreme amongst all options. bb.q Chicken has other dishes and sides such as their tteokbokki, which I haven't had a chance to try. But when I am here, I already know what I want. You can't go wrong with the best thing in the world!

Overall, I thought it was very tasty - not overly spicy, but it definitely had a little kick to it. My only minor complaint is that it was kind of expensive for the serving size, so I can't imagine getting it frequently, as $15 pre-tax for a small-ish lunch is a little steep for me. Still, I really enjoyed my food here and will definitely be back at some point!

You can genuinely taste the difference when something is made to order like this. Whether you eat it right there in the H Mart food court or take it to go, the quality holds up. My go-to is the Spicy Garlic, which has fantastic flavor, bold, savory, and just the right level of heat without overpowering the chicken itself. The sauce clings perfectly to the crispy exterior while the inside stays tender and juicy. It's the kind of place you go back to again and again because it's reliable. No surprises, no drop-off in quality, just consistently great fried chicken done right. If you're a fan of Korean fried chicken or just great fried chicken in general, Chicken Bee is an absolute must.

There is only 3 sauce to choose from and I tried the spicy garlic, which was just a little kick and sweet and savory which I really liked. Super friendly service and yummy soul food!…read more I saw a commercial for Nana Morrison's on tv and had never heard of it before. But as a person always in search for some good ol' crispy fried chicken, I had to check it out. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Each side was flavorful and plentiful. I saw a review about their Mac and cheese not being flavorful enough but I thought it was great. I also really liked their fried okra. Reminds me of a place I love in Texas. Oh and their collard greens are jam packed with flavor. I've had collard greens before elsewhere and didn't get the hype but now that I've had Nana Morrison's collard greens, I can say I'm hooked! Such a nice find. Located right near Bonefish grill. You have to give it a try!

Definitely a cool setup! I went around lunchtime and there was no wait at all to order. I decided on the fried pork chop, which I didn't realize was a made-to-order meal. I expected a little bit of a wait because of that, but I was honestly shocked when it took about 25 minutes to get my food. My friend had already finished her smothered chicken by the time mine came out Thankfully, her chicken was VERY good because I definitely stole a few bites while I waited! As far as my meal, I think next time I'd order something that's already cooked and ready to go and probably switch up my sides. The mac and cheese and yams weren't quite as good as I was hoping for, and the cornbread muffins were pretty dry and probably my least favorite part of the meal. Now the sweet tea?? SWWWWWWWEEEEET! They definitely understood the assignment on the Southern sweet tea! Overall, I'd give Nana Morrison's another try. There were enough things on the menu that looked good, and after tasting my friend's smothered chicken, I know there are definitely some winners. Next time I'm skipping the made-to-order wait and trying a different combination of sides!

Bottom line: Bad Mama's Chicken is a virtual delivery chicken business only available through food…read moredelivery order apps. The chicken tenders were large, with generous breading and fried well...but could not taste the seasoning like I was hoping. The sides were OK as well but not overwhelming. For so much 4 star potential, I'd have to go with 3 stars this time and A-OK rating. The Deets: In looking around on my food delivery apps, I noticed an entry for Bad Mama's Chicken to order from and thinking...hmmm, not seen that around. Well, there's a good reason, in that they are only virtual delivery chicken business that are currently on such apps as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and GrubHub as a virtual extension of Bad Daddy's Burger Bar but their own entity. The main part of their menu is tenders and wings, with a pretty good variety of sides to order along with the delivery chicken options. I decided to go with some tenders and then to sample their side offerings I went with the tots, the mac & cheese, and the house made chips. Delivery was fast and the items were still warm, nice. I'll start with the main offering, Mama's Tenders. First of all when I opened the container, I did not realize the tenders came with fries as the app did not indicate that...wow, what a carb fest for me indeed now. The tenders themselves were large pieces, well breaded and fried. I love the portion for the tenders. They looked wonderful. As I started enjoying them, they were good but I felt like the seasoning on the breading just was not coming through. I by no means want them spicy or overwhelming (I am not a fan of spicy, at all) but I would have loved to gotten some solid flavor from the seasoning. Good, definitely, but not great. As a side note, I ordered ranch as one of my dipping sauces...I did not receive any ranch, and that was disappointing. The fries...well...they were just saturated with grease/oil, not crunchy a bit just soggy with grease. They did not impress me. I went next to sample the Mama's Tots and yes, they were good (but I love tots...tots, how I love thee...). The Mama's house made Chips were a tad bit overdone for my taste...again, good but just past the point I'd like the chips. Give me light golden chips but not going on their way to brown. And last, I had to get spoonful (or three) of Mama's Mac & Cheese. It was good and loved the consistency of the cheese on the macaroni but the cheese taste was a bit short...however, UPDATE...upon warming it up and giving it another go, I find the cheesy taste actually better than the first bite or two, I'll take it. If the flavors would just come through for me, on the tenders especially, I'd say Mama's would be around a 4 star place for delivery chicken...but in this case, I can't go there for 4 stars. I hope so in the future.
