I had been wanting to try this place since I moved to the area months ago. I had multiple errands to run and was getting hungry. So I decided I'd try this place out, and went to see if by chance they had an app. They do! It was so easy to navigate through and modify my salad order. I ordered the house salad which came with a grilled chicken filet (you can choose hand breaded) fresh greens, bacon, gouda cheese, tomatoes (I skipped the tomatoes), Fresno peppers (never had them and they were great!) and I replaced the Honey Mustard dressing with Jalapeno ranch. I added additional grilled chicken patty. Both patties were seasoned to perfection. It was absolutely amazing! My new go-to whenever I want a good salad in town. Oh! and to my surprise the app lets you know when your food is ready and (cherry on top) they have a drive up window. Score! Customer service was great. Super chix is chicken as you might expect. Mostly chicken sandwiches. They have a handful of different recipes with a pretty good variety of flavors. The sandwich was good. Nice and crispy and had good flavor. They also sell custard. Which i found to be pretty good but there wasnt much toppings mixed in. We ate in a few days ago and also ordered salads to drop off to a friend. We added grilled chicken and asked for dressings on the side. They were perfect. The place is nice, Super chix has pretty good service, the employees are okay, wife disapproved of service, they were rude to her. The chicken and Custard truly is what you come for! Don't forget the sauces, with an array of unlimited sauces at the sauce bar it's truly is magnificent. The sauces complement the chicken. My favorite was their Signature Sauce.The chicken is super crispy while still maintaining the juiciness it desperately needs. The fries were good but were salty and cut too small The custard is good but nothing with a wow factor (I did forget to get a foto of my custard) It would be better if they had different sizes for the custard. The chicken sandwich was pretty good but not really cheap at 14$ with fries. I would like to try the salads sometime. The location is not great because the ingress and egress is odd and not convenient at all. I think they would have done much better if they had located over next to Culvers. There is much better parking and it's not congested over there. Another unfortunate thing is the name. Super Chix gives the impression that it's a cheap mid grade type place like KFC rather than a more premium chicken place. I think the name will hurt business overall. If I was staying at some hotel somewhere in the US and this chain was next door I would definitely go in but I wouldn't go out of my way to find a Super Chix. I didn't try the coffee but I would hope they had some decent coffee. I don't care about custard...it's loaded with sugar and preservatives usually and we don't need more of that stuff. I feel like they don't get paid enough to care about what they are doing. The chicken is good. It's very expensive for a big family, so we don't go often. When we do order, we order to go. Every single time, they just dump the fries in the bag, and put everything else on top. By the time we get home (5 minutes away) the fries are super soggy. My family went here on opening day and although they were extremely busy, the service was excellent. While waiting for our food a table opened up but as the staff were super busy, they had not had a chance to clean it off (it was less than a minute after the previous group left). I asked Hannah (who was clearly busy trying to keep up with the custard orders) if there was a rag I could use to wipe down the table. She immediately stopped what she was doing and cleaned the table for my family and she had a positive, customer service attitude the whole time. I knew she had other work to do but by her demeanor and quick response it was clear that taking care of the customer is a top priority. Less than 5 minutes later our food was done and it was fantastic as well. I had the Avocado, grilled chicken and bacon. Unfortunately, it was so dang tasty I ate the whole thing and forgot to take a photo! I did manage to get photos of the grilled chicken salad with spicy red peppers and that was very tasty. We also tried all of the frozen custard flavors and they were simply the best! My daughter's response to her first bite was "Wow, Dad this is silky smooth! Before we left, I had the pleasure of speaking to both the owner of this specific Super Chix and the Super Chix VP of operations (I think that was his title). Both of whom were extremely professional and were working right alongside the rest of the staff and leading by example. To say I was impressed with this establishment is an understatement. This place is legit! I brought my appetite and was recommended to try the Crispy Avo sandwich, the vegetarian option, but with a breaded filet on it too. Whoa! My mind has been thoroughly blown. The chicken was so juicy and so flavorful. You can tell it was cooked right then and there, not held for hours waiting for someone. The crispy avocado is stuffed with a massive ball of gouda cheese, breaded and deep fried and placed on top of the filet, cheese side down. When I received the order the presentation was on point (check out their instagram, your food ACTUALLY looks like this) and I thought there was no way I could even fit the thing in my mouth. A little massaging of the potato roll and the avo broke open and released the gooey gouda goodness and made this a messy, but manageable feast! read more
