The food is hot, the staff are all wonderful and knowledgeable about the menu and I literally have not had a bad experience from this restaurant! I had gotten a beef tongue and had no idea what to do with it and they were AMAZING to cook up the lengua for me! I did leave a fat tip in the jar when I picked it up after they did not charge me anything for cooking it! When I tell you that the lengua I got was soooo incredibly TENDER it literally fell apart as I was grabbing handfuls with tongs to serve it! Went so good with fresh guacamole and pico! Will absolutely have it again as long as the crew at papa luis does it! Gracias Luis!

My parents have ordered catering 2ce and the rest of the family loved it. I love how they cut the meat small and it's never fatty. Try their Chori-Queso and Pozole Rojo. Amazing. Chicken tacos are my favorite. I love that they serve the cheese on the side. For some odd reason I don't like melty cheese on my tacos so cold cheese is perfect for me. I always order extra tacos to go for lunch the next day. :)

NO doubt the food is good…read more BUT Food is over priced; but then again everything is these days; so no doubt they are jumping on the bandwagon of taking advantage of your customers by inflating their prices??? And Being Skimpy! My problem is: I got a carne asada burrito and asked for an extra hot sauce after she gave me my bag and I saw only one. The lady gave me a hard time and said I can only have one??? I told her I like a lot of hot sauce and she took my bag from me - without even asking me for it???- and took the green one out of my bag to "TRADE" for another hot sauce!!! I cannot believe they are willing to lose a loyal customer that only "Went" there for my burrito fix whenever I come back to Da Heights to visit family and friends for a half ass thing of hot sauce??????? I mean, how much could it have possibly cost for two tablespoons of hot sauce (no I did not measure it, but it is in the picture ) Well, it is a done deal. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER dirty penny IN THAT PLACE, And will be giving my business to all the other taco joints in the area between Beecher and Chicago Heights until I find the one I like!!!! Still shaking my damn head trying to figure out her reasoning??? I am always polite and say please and thank you, so I just don't get it?

Who would have thought this would be a great Mexican restaurant in this area?! My friend comes this…read moreway and saw it and suggested we give it a try. I was skeptical but I like trying places so we gave it a go. Well...we were pleasantly surprised! It was a large restaurant with different eating areas, gambling in a small room. The bathrooms were cold but clean and smelled of cleaning. To the food. We had to ask for our waitress as I don't think they knew who was to work our table since we waited a while and they kept passing us up. We started with an app of a bread with chorizo and cheese served with a cheese sauce. Loved it. Along came our flight of margaritas which lasted through the meal. The chips were crisp and the salsa fresh. I got the steak with salsa and melted cheese and it came with avocado, rice and beans. Not really a rice person but this rice was good. The whole pinto beans had a nice flavor. I scooped some refried beans from my friends' plate and they were seasoned as well. She also liked the burrito. There is a parking lot but it looks like the restaurant can hold more. We just beat the dinner rush so we were able to park fine and get seated quickly.

It's a smaller place with about 10 tables and a couple you can push together for larger groups. I seated myself and received chips and three kinds of salsa while I waited for my order. The salsas were very watery, lacking in flavor and spice. When the food arrived everything was cooked properly and presented well, but again, a lack of flavor.
