Stopped in for lunch around 11:30 am while I was in the area for a funeral. We were the only…read morecustomers there. Took my Chinese buffet favorites of peanut chicken, mushrooms, and fried rice. The peanut chicken was extremely greasy and had very little flavor. The mushrooms (from the chicken and mushrooms) were barely cooked; still had the raw taste and texture. The fried rice tasted fine but left a greasy feel in my mouth. I gave my husband my plate of food and went back to see if I could find something to eat. Put a little black pepper chicken on a plate and picked up a piece of the chicken immediately, it was barely warm. Took a piece of sweet and sour chicken and squeezed it a little with the tongs and grease oozed out. Needless to say, I barely ate anything, but I paid for it all weekend. As I pushed the bar on the door to leave, it felt greasy and gross, so I went to the restroom to wash my hands. There was soap only in one dispenser and no paper towels. I used to like this place. I will not return.

My family and I have celebrated many occasions here and we continue to do so. I'm so proud of how far this place has come and how strong its gotten. Flavor is on point! Owners are friendly and always welcoming. The recent renovation has liven the place up! We will be returning as usual!

The hype is real about the egg rolls! SO good and crispy and delicious. My friends and I tried the…read morepork ones and we all loved them. It was definitely my favorite out of everything we ordered. We also shared the veggie stir fry (medium spicy), green curry with chicken, veggie pad lad nad, chicken leg quarter, and whole tilapia. The standouts were the veggie stir fry and green curry. They were so flavorful and perfectly seasoned, great over sticky rice. I also love that the rice was served in cute baskets. The tilapia was a little disappointing but I'm glad I tried it. I also ordered the Naab Vaam drink and I loved it! Not overly sweet and very refreshing. I could tell that the place was a bit understaffed that day but overall everyone was friendly. No outdoor seating but plenty of indoor seating. I'd come back again for Hmong's golden pork egg rolls!

My sister took me to her favorite Hmong place and I was not disappointed! We got spring rolls and…read moreegg rolls, both with pork. They tasted great, I loved. the dipping sauces, but the pork was just very very thin strips, can't say I really noticed it, but both were tasty. The egg rolls were different than I've ever had in that they were long and thin - think I prefer them this way. They came out crispy and very hot to the table. We shared the fried chicken leg, which was the drumstick and the thigh, with sticky rice. I loved how they cut it into four pieces and how crispy the skin was. For dessert I had their special drink/dessert the Nab Vam. It is a "tapioca dessert drink filled with colorful jellies, crunchy water chestnuts, chewy pearls, lightly sweet with creamy coconut". It was not only beautiful, but delicious. Service was quick, and it's a bright, airy place, and I definitely would go back again.

The veg egg roll ($4) wasn't bad with a good wrapper and non-mushy filling. The sauteed green beans ($9.25) (vegan by default) depressed me as it consisted of frozen green beans turned chewy in a flavorless sauce. The vegetable chow mei fun ($9.75) (vegan by default) consists of thin rice noodles in salty seasoning. I'm assuming it was MSG (which doesn't bother me), but the dish won't wow you and it might turn you off. The beancurd w/mushroom & bamboo ($10.75) is the only substantial vegan tofu dish and here it's a mix of vegetables and tofu in a gloopy brown sauce. While not amazing, it wasn't terrible. I also ordered a vegetable gyoza, but they forgot to give that to me, and it wasn't worth it to complain once I figured it out. La Crosse doesn't have a ton of Chinese spots other than stripmall buffet spots. Great Wall is a couple blocks away and, while I didn't try it, it seems popular and the food looks decent based on its pictures.

This isn't dirt, it's food. Gross. Clean the walls.

Their idea of wall decor is tacky plastic fish bowls and I think the fish may be dead. I haven't seen them move the entire meal.
