This is by far the worst Chinese food I've ever tasted! Food bland, rice hard, and Teriyaki chicken was ice cold! Instead of actually cooking it, they stick it in the microwave to heat it up.. Never again!! read more

Order was ready in about 10 minutes. Best orange chicken I've ever had. Lo Mein was okay but lacking flavor.

Very friendly service greeted as we walked in even when they were busy, reasonable wait time, clean, food came out hot and tasted GREAT. read more

I'm a sucker for meals that come with fried rice, and an egg roll or Rangoon, so it's no surprise that Great Wall is my go to Chinese restaurant in Lacrosse. I get the lunch special or dinner special. My favorite is the sesame chicken or the chicken and mushrooms. The prices are actually really good and portions are generous. Although the dining area leaves a lot to be desired, this is the PERFECT spot if you are a fan of takeout! As the name implies, this establishment is great :D read more

Veggies are great, food overall ok. most importantly, don't expect to receive you're entire order. second time we were missing our appetizer. read more

There was tiny sharp pieces of plastic in our food. We had 4 meals, it wasn't cheap by any means! The lo main had the plastic and there were these third size of a toothpick also. At first thought it might have come from opening the container but the plastic lids were all intact! Not sure we're these please of wood came from. Someone suggested it might be bone from chicken, I don't know but will NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN. Far too dangerous. Oh I did call and they did nothing! read more

We have been loyal customers for over 15 years. I went to order tonight and the prices have been raised over $3 + per item! $9.99 for Crab Rangoon? $19.99 for Boneless spareribs when they used to be16.99? That's insane! read more

Good food! Quick and fresh! We were pleasantly surprised being from out of town. Would definitely visit again! read more

Couldn't even order the food because she hung up on me. A friend of mine order food and said the fried rice is not good WHICH MEANS THEY DELIVERED HERE BEFORE but she was confused and CLICK. The order minimum is $35 and a $7 fee. IF I was able to order. read more

Don't order from here their food made my family sick and we returned the food they promised a refund and we never got it ---- negative 10 stars read more

Best in town food-wise, but kinda lacking in other areas. They give you plastic silverware (which I personally despise) and everything used to be served in styrofoam (which I also dislike) but since they switched to plastic containers, it's much better. My goto place for Chinese food in La Crosse. read more

My boyfriend and I got food poisoning from here recently. We usually order from here since it is close and fast and have not had an experience like this before. Do not recommend. read more

The food was great and it was exactly what I needed to complete the cold fall vibe you know. The people inside were very nice and the food was still hot when I got it, and I was late. I did do takeout and so I didn't eat inside but I'm not sure if that looked open. Anyway you should try it!!! read more

Id love to give a 4.5 - Portions were large and it all tasted great. I had the orange chicken with white rice and egg roll. No complaints. Wait was just as long as advertised for pickup. Their website for ordering worked fine. read more

Yum Yum Yum, I got to admit the Veggies and tofu were amazing here! It's all I ever had, but this food was great! Easily the best Chinese food I have ever had served on paper plates! The service was so so, I had to ask multiple times for a cup of water and it never got refilled.. And the bathrooms left a lot to be desired. But If I lived in LaCrosse, I would totally order to go, or get delivery from here.. Cause the food was fantastic. And a good price! This place with a little love could easily be an improved dining in experience. Cause the food is there! read more

I i would give it 0 stars if it allowed me to...cardboard soaked in soysauce would've tasted better. Save your money.

I'm writing an update and I hate to give a lower score, because the employees here are still extremely friendly and the food is always delivered and prepared very quickly. However since writing my first review, the quality of the food has gone downhill and the prices have skyrocketed. The last two times that we ordered food, we paid extra to have the food prepared spicy. I even wrote in the note, "Please make the food so hot that my wife cries when she eats it." We've never tasted blander food. We will probably not order from here anymore because there is better competition in the area now. read more

The food is decent. I had the orange chicken which had a good flavor. The fried rice the chicken came with did not really look like real rice. It's almost like little tiny cous cous-shaped things. The portions were large and I was definitely full afterward. Maybe the actual order of fried rice is better? If I ordered from here again I would have it with the white rice. Anyways, the egg roll was a standard egg roll, tastes like any frozen egg roll. I ordered an appetizer of the teriyaki chicken and it was pretty terrible. I definitely would not order it again. It honestly did not even taste like chicken. It was pretty dry too. The website is a disaster. It's slow to load and looks like it's an Angelfire website from 1998. That could use some work, but I haven't found many Chinese restaurants with well functioning websites.. Although the review sounds pretty negative, it was a standard Chinese restaurant with okay food. I would try other places in La Crosse but would order something from here again too. read more

Ordered delivery while staying at the Hampton Inn downtown. Delivery was fast. Sesame Chicken was delicious. Fried donuts were yummy.

The rice isn't even fully cooked. It tastes like it was cooked in old oil. We got the wrong sides and I've never seen dark fried rice, like it looks almost black. And the customer service was shoddy. read more

Great food. Friendly service. Crab Rangoon and Sesame Chicken are delish. This is in our top 3 Chinese restaurants in the area.

The food here is horribly sub par. My wife and I ordered take out orange and sesame chicken respectively, and they were both bland. Their fried rice is the worst either of us have had. The final nail in the coffin was that the egg drop soup had cigarette ashes in it. It smelled so awful, and was totally discolored. Save yourself the time (and stomach ache), and choose another dinner spot. read more

I've been a frequent customer for almost 12 years now. Keep on coming back for more, because their food is always freshly prepared, service is lightening fast (though sometimes not so fast during lunch & dinner "rush"), and everything I've ever eaten there is fabulous. Wish they still offered the fried Chicken Wings, but that I'm disappointed they discontinued that menu item is the only negative thing I can say about them. Especially nice is the fact that they are always willing to do custom requests for modifications to their menu. All employees have always been friendly & very polite. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Our delivery order took almost an hour and a half when we were told 45 mins. Was treated with total disrespect when I called to see the status of my order. Orange chicken was extremely dry, and almost all batter. Fried rice was not like any fried rice I've had before. It was super dark like soy sauce and super salty. Never will order from this place again read more

Absolutely horrible! Zero stars. I ordered fried dumplings, which were reheated & burned. Chicken fried rice was dark brown, chicken bits & a pea or carrot here & there, completely tasteless. Hard to make a disaster out of those easy selections but they did it. read more

I placed an order for delivery at 5:30pm and was told 30-40 minutes. Dinner around 6pm sounds great!? We have a four year old and a mom who just had a baby. Dinner arrived around 7:15, and that was after 5-6 phone calls trying to track down the driver and find out what happened. Our complaint was met with a refund of...........$3 on a $30 dollar check........pack your bags baby, we're going to Hawaii...... I just can't support a place that does business like this. I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

I used to like this place alright enough but one night after ordering some takeout from here I got horrible food poisoning. I wanted to handle it discretely and just get my money back for the food since I wouldn't be going back anyways and the woman (owner?) spoke very rudely on the phone to me, and said I got myself sick and her food was always "hot". Definitely not a clean space and would seriously advice caution. I was off my feet for about three days. read more

do not order from this place. i waited over an hour and then they canceled my order. very disappointing and no accountability.

love this place. our go to chinese takeout restaurant. they are so sweet and the portions are generous. they have messed up our orders quite a few times, but i cannot dock points for that because their hospitality makes up for it. 10/10 recommend, just check your order before you leave read more

First off, it took over an hour to get my delivery. Second, I didn't get what I ordered. I ordered beef padThai w/ red curry, and my husband had the cashew chicken. The cashew chicken was fine, but I got curry beef, broccoli and onion. When I called back to tell them my order was wrong, that I did not get pad Thai, the lady could not comprehend what I was telling her. I explained it over and over to the point of complete frustration and aggravation, that I hung up! The food was good, but it took to long to get delivered, and it wasn't what I ordered. read more

I ordered food here while on military orders at fort McCoy, they were swamped that night so delivery took about two hours, not a big deal considering the circumstances. However, the delivery driver never called me to let me know that my food was on the way like I had requested, and he needed up giving my food away to someone else that had ordered from the same restaurant. They let someone else sign for my credit card and gave away over $60 worth of food without confirming the identity of their customer. I was lucky enough to be outside making a phone call and over heard the people that received my food discussing the fact that the order was not theirs. I tried calling the restaurant at least 20 times since then and I can not get ahold of them. I am furious about what happened and unfortunately it seems that I can not resolve the issue that I have not signed for my credit card. read more

This is my favorite Chinese Restaurant in La Crosse! The food is very good and fresh tasting. There's a huge variety. The only thing I would change is that they do not have egg fu young. The egg drop soup it's definitely a favorite. We often order 5 meals and it's less than $60. Plus after you spend $40 you get a free item. That changes, based on how much you spend. read more

Wrong entre was brought to me with delivery. I called to have the situation remedied. The woman on the phone made me explain the problem 3 times. I had to insist on the correct entre being delivered. No apology from her. The original delivery person stopped back to retrieve the wrong food, no apology from him either. About 10 minutes later, a different delivery driver brought the correct food, he barely spoke to me, Of course, no apology. Glad they are not the only Chinese delivery in town. read more

This was our go-to Chinese restaurant in La Crosse up until we moved about a year ago. Since then, we haven't found anything that compares to the food quality that we used to enjoy at Great Wall. We usually ordered for delivery and never had a problem with our order showing up on time. We'll be visiting La Crosse soon and will definitely make sure that Great Wall is one of our stops. read more

Fair place to grab Chinese food downtown fast and friendly service. Overall would recommend if you need a quick Chinese fix

I order from this place all the time. The delivery is always quick and when it arrives, its delicious. I'm glad that they have vegetarian and vegan options. read more

This little restaurant has fantastic food. You can watch them cook the food in the kitchen while you order. I think most of their business is take out. We just happened to find them when we walking down the street in downtown La Crosse. The dine in experience is very simple, paper plates and soda in a can. The food was terrific, low priced and delicious. We ordered lo mein and orange chicken. The lo mein was recommended to us a by a couple sitting next to us. The woman exclaimed it is the best lo mein she has ever had. We also had egg drop soup and spring rolls. The only food I would not order again was the spring roll, it was more like an egg roll and was very small. I would definitely order take out from this restaurant again. read more
