Their meat is great and their product is fresh. Staff is very helpful I like their organic selection

They sell prefilled 5 gallon bottled water. Its cheap to trade for Refills. But often labels on the bottle get torn and they will refuse to take the bottle. I understand they dont want other bottles but they're selling them with torn or missing labels! You wont even notice until you return it. And they treated me like I was stealing from them. Ive shopped there for 15+ years. Yet they ripped me off and treated me like a thief. the bottle was only $7 but the thei treatment of me has me very angry. I'm not sure why anyone would give Super 1 a bad rating (except cake lady...they obviously had a very bad day, but the bakery is usually terrific.) Super 1 is extremely clean, well-stocked; great produce and meats. The staff are happy to be helpful and welcoming; it's the antithesis of shopping at Walmart, which is a great place to shop if you like your last nerve being fried to a crisp. Yes, some things are pricier than Walmart...but I consider it an investment in mental health! read more

Rotten rotten rotten! IT Will never be forgotten. Went to get some fish, the only thing fishy was the behavior, attitudes and knowledge of the employees of NOT so SUPER 1. I was sold rotten fish, so I called and complained about the fish I had just purchased just to be told That what I given was fresh and they didn't have anymore because they had tossed The rest in the trash because it was no longer healthy to customers... "ROD" OR "NiM ROD" the so called specialist of Meat and seafood had no clue what he was talking about! full of contradictions. One fish blue fish ewwww fish .... How was what he sold me "fresh" and 10 minutes go by and all of a sudden it's no longer "fresh" and in the trash? Then comes hit in the head by a rock BROCK !!!!! He was The original salesman of The rancid fish So I don't want to blame him to much because I can only assume learned behavior from the managers he is surrounded by... but maybe he has covid and couldn't smell the death Wreaking out of the fish case.... So after the phone call i went to the store To show them what they had actually sold Me..... then comes JOSH the General manager. who like the fish, could use a Wash... Seriously a lack of customer service and Problem solving skills. As if there was no way possible that they had made a mistake to the point where They tried to blame me as if I left the fish in the car over night with the heat on to get it out the next day and call and complain. At 7:30 p.m. this evening I went into Super One Foods and Walla Walla on 9th Street I went back to where they make bread and stuff and ask for assistance the woman did not want to help me there were two other women standing in the back where they worship the pots and pans and different things they were so busy talking to each other that I couldn't get their attention I stood there for about 7 minutes waiting when I went through the checkout I asked him if there was anyone there that could go see if they had any banana bread because most of the time they have to go back in the freezer and get it out for me which is no big deal but they wouldn't do it they go no they're closed back there and I said well they're still back there and they're getting paid it wouldn't be that hard for him to walk and get me a couple loaves of banana bread out of the freezer but they flat out refuse to I found them to be very rude and very unhelpful I will not come back to the store and shop again read more

Great grocery store! After the renovation a few years ago, the place looks more like a Whole Foods, definite improvement. The produce and fruit were really fresh and the prices for them were great. Can't ask for anything better; service was really friendly, the store was clean. Great place for groceries. read more

First impressions are that this grocery store is much like every other grocery store you find. I stopped in with my grandmother while she picked out a few things. I only paid attention for one thing: The Beer Aisle Is there anything more beautiful to behold than the beer aisle? The answer is yes - several beer aisles. But I digress. Here is what I like about the beer aisle at this particular establishment: They have a fantastic selection (for a grocery store). Probably 150 different beers, a lot of which are in 22oz singles. This is atypical for grocery stores, and something I was very pleasantly surprised to find in Walla Walla. Now, nothing they had in stock was rare or hard to find, but they had a lot of solid options. And probably ends up being one of the best places to stop to buy craft beer while you're in Walla Walla. read more

I found this store to have great selections, even found some chocolate that doesn't have diary or eggs; which I have sensitivities too.... But I love chocolate so much. Super 1 Foods - a chocolate bar and a packet of chocolate - Grocery Near Me - Walla Walla, Washington

This was the cake that we received for our 5 year olds birthday party on June 27th. When we got to the store to pick it up the box was barely opened to show it to us but since we were in a rush we took it and left. Once we got home and opened it we were disgusted by the horrible job they did on this cake. There was no time to go back and fix it since the party had started so we served the cake anyways. Once we started eating it we discovered paper that was left all over the cake. After the party we took the cake back and received our money back. The bottom line is that it is an embarrassment to the store and absolutely not acceptable to give a cake to a customer that looked like it was made by someone who was drunk and then to leave paper all over it. Would not recommend ordering a cake from here. You will be disappointed and will not receive a professional job. read more

We moved here 6 months ago and after going to several grocery stores, found Super 1. We have been so happy with the store and staff, clean, wide aisles, restrooms, Huckleberry's Organics...we were thrilled - AND THEN I went in the other day to see "self check out" stands and thought NOOOO! I didn't go to college to be a checker or to take someone's job, it's the reason I don't shop at Home Depot or Walmart. When I asked the checker if the whole store was going to go self check-out she said she didn't know. I told her I didn't like it and the two ladies and one man behind me all chimed in that they didn't either. It turned into a conversation..first pumping your own gas, then being your own bank teller, and now this!? NOT COOL SUPER 1 . Your model is what set you above everyone else - please don't do it!!! I've been to this grocery store a few times while visiting friends in Walla Walla. Basically it was the closest, easiest to find option for our myriad of needs. Despite the fact that there are newer, nicer, bigger chains available to shop at - I like this store. The employees are nice, the wine selection is pretty fantastic, and there's an amazing array of well, diversity in food items. If you're looking for ingredients for traditional Mexican cooking or spices, Super 1 is your destination. read more

Super 1 is ok. Prices are higher than Safeway, and no discount card. Meat is fine. Produce is better at Andy's Market. The bakery does a nice job on cakes. Not such a good job on bread. Safeway does the best on fresh baguettes and french, or sourdough. Thursday is a "special" day. If you want to stock up on cereal, or whatever the special is...go on Thursday. read more
