There aren't many places open in the area on Sunday, but I saw this place had coffee and pastries…read moreso we decided to give it a try. It was pretty busy inside, but after a bit we were able to order. I ordered an iced soy latte with a pump of almond. Also a regular iced latte. I also ordered a few pastries, the Kouign Amann, Almond Croissant, and Goat Cheese and Herb croissant. They unfortunately don't heat up any pastries which I wish they would because I do think it would make the pastries better. The Kouign was my favorite. It was crunchy and delicious and sweet, I would get again. The goat cheese croissant was pretty good but nothing too special. As for the Almond Croissant, I was very disappointed. It had hardly any almond filling, and there was no almond flavor. I wish they would put slivered almonds on it but it was completely lacking. I would skip the almond croissant completely. As for the coffee, I got a regular iced latte and a Soy almond latte. The coffee was not good at all and it makes me sad to say but after a few sips... I had to throw it away! I felt like it threw away $7. It was very watery and the syrup tasted off. This is usually my go-to at other shops but I just couldn't drink this at all. Overall it was cool to try a pastry or two but I wouldn't make another trip here.

A very sweet staff at a winery suggested we visit this spot for pastries and we obliged . We…read morearrived around breakfast time and even though there was a line ,it moved fast. I felt the staff was a little unfriendly and rushed us even though we barely spent a minute ordering . My experience everywhere else in the city had been so phenomenal in terms of customer service that this exchange really stood out . I wouldn't hold that against them though because it could have been an off day. The coffee was just ok ,I would probably skip it next time and stick to getting the baked goods. The goat cheese pastry and the rhubarb were very well made and tasted amazing. The inside is spacious but not the best organized and it was a struggle to pass through tables to get an open seat . The restrooms also were unkempt and the door that opens in the lobby cant be locked which is weird for a restroom in a public setting.

had another day off and nothing scheduled until evening so out touring the near east. one of the…read morewelders suggested the fort/museum in the morning so I came over to get some breakfast and check it out :-) nice morning today with clear skies and a light breeze and not a whole lot of traffic so why not sit out of doors and enjoy the fresh air!?! bummer part is that I had to go inside to place an order (now that I have their wifi I can just pick a table and order on line for delivery) went with the biscuits and gravy plus turkey sausages and a big black coffee. ...I stopped drinking coffee for effect a long while ago but the stuff they're pushing here takes me back to way back... took about ten minutes for the food to show up; piping hot on a real plate with a real fork! thanks destiny! gravy losing the sausage bits is possibly the greatest tragedy of the plandemic but a dash of red pepper helps it out and we get by well enough. biscuits are more like split pones; toasted and crisp, they are an interesting variation and would also add depth to a southwestern themed benedict so I'm good with these :-)

Counter staff is confused and communication with customers could use a lot of improvement. Turkey…read morebacon or sausage as the only meat option the burrito was unsat. But a nice little place, and the burrito w/o the meat was solid, as was the coffee. Hit them at a rush. Would definitely come back.
