Great place for fresh tea and boba in Montebello area. The place is clean inside with spacious seating and free wifi. Staff was nice and friendly introducing their drinks to me when I was deciding what to order. I ordered the Sun Tea No 1 drink: mango grapefruit boom tea. It was refreshing with mango, crystal boba, grapefruit pulp, and coconut milk. The mashed mango was sweet and tangy in flavor. I also got the avocado almond fresh milk, oreo Mochi milk tea, and matcha latte. All drinks were ordered with half sugar and I enjoyed my drinks.
First time here and will be returning for sure. We came in using our SGV passport and the grapefruit tea is nice and refreshing. You can also adjust sweetness level too. We also tried the cheese peach drink and that was also delicious. They also have some snacks too. They even warmed up the item for us. Friendly service. Nice seating too.
SunTea is a solid spot for a refreshing drink or something to satisfy your boba craving! I tried a few drinks from here and I loved it. Some of my favorites are the Venti Fresh Fruit Tea, Mango Grapefruit Boom Tea and the Oreo Mochi Milk Tea! The regular Grapefruit Boom Tea is also good, I personally like the drink at 100% sweetness since grapefruit is usually a bit bitter for me. Service is friendly and quick, I also love how spacious the spot is with indoor and outdoor seatings!
SunTea is a boba tea shop that provide a wide variety of tea drinks such as matcha, fruit teas and specialty. Interior is spacious with aesthetic design. Prices are competitive and slightly expensive. Staff were nice and competent. Atmosphere is relaxing. Parking is easy in the area. Overall, I enjoyed my drink.
I decided to drove here to try the boba here. To my surprise, the boba tasted sour and weird. I told the staff and she said, it was okay. I thought; okay maybe it's me. Before walking back to my car, I decided, nope. I paid for this. It tasted bad. So I walked back in there and asked if they can just replace my drink. Same drink without boba. They were sweet enough to replaced it and tossed away the previous one. They offered me a new batch of boba, I refused because, nope, can't get rid of the first sour boba i ever had. Better stick with just milk tea with no boba. Disappointed. Won't go back. But the girls were very sweet. Thanks
I was finally able to make it here and try their fresh fruit tea. When they had first opened, I saw the signs outside for their fresh fruit teas and it looked so refreshing. Today I ordered their Venti fresh fruit tea with 50% sweetness. And it was perfect. When I have had fresh fruit drinks at other places their crop their fruit into tiny pieces so that it will be able to come up the straw. But here the pieces are huge. But the fruit was good. There are a lot of tables and seats inside. They have a patio with outdoor tables and chairs too. The service was good and they answered all my questions when I came in. I'll definitely be coming back to try some of their other drinks.
Checked out Sun Tea in Montebello today with some friends. We ordered the coconut mango cloud, mango grapefruit boom tea, venti fresh fruit tea and strawberry matcha. Sun Tea uses fresh fruits to craft their drinks and are fruit forward. We enjoyed all the fresh fruit we had in our drinks and did not have to adjust the sugar levels. My favorite would have to be the coconut mango cloud. The coconut pudding and the mashed mango blended well together pairing the two in harmony. It was lightly sweet and creamy from the coconut bringing out the mango flavor. The dorayaki flavor we chose was the red bean. The pancake outside was soft and fluffy. We asked the barista to warm it up so the red bean inside was warm. It was soft and pillowy and not too sweet from the red bean. They have parking in a lot and around the corner on the street. The place was spacious with plenty of tables to work at. Drinks ranged around $6-$8 but worth the price as they use plenty of fresh fruit.
I'm hooked! Coconut Watermelon cloud is my go to drink.Coconut pudding with mashed watermelon. Fresh and not too sweet.Sooooo good. I don't need to try anything else. My wife is hooked on their jasmine green tea. She adds grapefruit pulp. I literally order twice a week. A must try is also their strawberry dorayaki. Very tasty and delicious.Just wish they were closer to me. I use food delivery apps so I can't comment on the service or ambiance.
Haven't been here since it was California Boba but this place is completely different! The menu has many drinks to choose from. There's plenty of seating if you want to enjoy inside. The staff was really friendly, knowledgeable about their menu, and was willing to answer any questions we had. We ordered one of their recommendations (mango passion) and were really pleased with how yummy it was. The peach tea was also delicious. No complaints. I'd definitely return!

We ordered the Passion Mango Bloom Tea and the Banana Matcha. Both drinks were flavorful and refreshing, though definitely on the sweeter side. I'd recommend asking for less sugar if you prefer something more balanced. Service was fast and friendly. Overall, a solid spot with a comfortable vibe, and I'd definitely come back to try more drinks. Parking was easy since the plaza has a shared lot, and the cafe sits right on the corner.

I appreciated its quality ingredients. I arrived at SunTea (Montebello) on Wednesday (around 6:28PM). Parking is easy; however, this evening many homeless people wandered around the lot. The lot is big, and there's many long benches on the sidewalk which attract tired people. Staff is professional, friendly, and diligent. Staff consisted of two working people behind the counter. Staff answered all my questions, and staff continuously worked in the background despite this business feeling empty. My drink took about two minutes. Very fast! As mentioned, I enjoyed the Orange Boom Tea ($6.80 - 100% Sweetness Default) with Boba (additional 99 cents). With thin orange slices floating within, the liquid tasted cool and refreshing. The ingredients felt fresh and crisp. Surprisingly, the boba came hot, lightly sweetened with a very soft, supple squish. These fresh boba had an unexpected light bounce. "Tasty!" Regarding ambiance, SunTea (Montebello) is somewhat comfortable. There's plenty of tables and seats. The interior has nine tables, one long table, and a few plump couches. The outside patio has nine outside tables with shade. Unfortunately, the location has only two electrical outlets. Fortunately, there's internet with password for customers. Customers need to ask staff for the information. SunTea (Montebello) is also clean. The floors are well swept. The tables are smooth and shiny. There's no unsightly webs in the corners. The air felt well-ventilated. There's even a gender neutral restroom for customers in the back. I also appreciated the upbeat music and vibrant, well-maintained walls. If I were to nitpick, the couches look worn down with dark marks. These couches looked unappealing to sit upon like a lightly stained seat in an aging public bus. Overall, I appreciated my experience at SunTea (Montebello). I enjoyed the Orange Boom Tea ($6.80 - 100% Sweetness Default) with Boba (additional 99 cents). It's a harmless, clean, and thirst-quenching drink. 4.7 out of 5
Montebello finally has a boba spot! The staff were so incredibly sweet, explained all the drinks and had great recommendations. It's very clean and nicely decorated with a lot of seating available inside. It's definitely a nice spot to catch up with friends!! The matcha drink was my favorite of the 4, and then the fruit tea was also very good. I hope more people visit this spot it's definitely a hidden gem in the 626!!

We've been here a few times now. I've tried the Matcha coconut (water) full sweet and %50 sweet both are so good I recommend it if you like matcha. I've also tired the Creme Brulee Milk Tea, and the Thai milk tea. The Creme Brulee Milk Tea is really good I recommend it everyone, the Thai milk tea was good but nothing special. I think their speciality drinks are the way to go. The girls working there are always so nice, they even let us have our lunch there once it was a good place to eat and cool off on a hot day with our ice cold teas. I'm happy to have this place so close to home. Ziggy liked hanging out here too! read more

Pretty decent tea shop in Montebello. Stopped by on a Sunday - storefront was fairly empty but they had a steady stream of customers. Ended up ordering mango grapefruit boom tea and a coconut pudding cloud. Both drinks were adjusted for sugar and ice - price was around $15 for both. The fruit tea was definitely refreshing for a hot day, but I enjoyed the coconut pudding a lot more. Not too sweet, had enough flavor - would order again. They have a good number of tables inside as well as seats outside. Workers are pretty helpful. read more
I got the Coconut Pudding Mango Coconut Milk and my bf ordered the Lemon Black Tea. My drink was really good--super creamy and refreshing. The mango flavor wasn't too strong, and I really liked the coconut pudding in it because it added a nice texture. My bf's Lemon Black Tea was light and refreshing with a nice lemon taste. Simple but really easy to drink. Overall, both drinks were good and refreshing. I'd come back again to try other flavors. Service was quick and friendly. I haven't been to many tea spots in Montebello, so I wanted to check this one out while I was in the area. It's a cute little shop with a nicely decorated interior. The drinks were very flavorful--definitely on the pricier side, but if you're looking for something tasty, this spot delivers. I tried the strawberry matcha, the cheese blackberry boom tea, and the brown sugar boba milk tea. I ordered all of them at 25% sweetness, and they were just right. I also got a Dora Yaki with Oreo cheese, which was a really nice dessert. Overall, I'd come back! Parking - They actually share a lot nearby even though it might not look for it. Found this place randomly while in Montebello and thought i would stop by. There strawberry matcha drink is to die for!! Love a sweet matcha and love how they use fresh fruit in there drinks. We also got the Watermelon boom tea and it tasted so fresh like they squeezed a fresh watermelon. I'll definitely be returning here again. 10/10 tea shop and staff was super friendly. Will def be coming back!! I really loved this place and only tried a couple things but eager to try more soon. I ordered the big fruit tea, which is more like a fruit cup with some tea (lol) but the fruit is so good and the tea was so well-sweetened to compliment the actual fruits inside. Then I tried the blueberry cream bun and it was very good. It could be the perfect dessert or afternoon snack. Staff were all friendly and there is plenty of seating options with cute decor here. I love the natural light as well. I was able to find street parking but I don't know if there's a lot nearby. All things considered, I would definitely come back! read more

I live nearby and have been wanting to try SunTea and it is a solid place to work and enjoy some tea. Definitely thought was put into the aesthetic. People were nice and the drink was good. It wasn't the best a I've tried but l do like that they have a great overall package. Decent space and decent food/drinks with fresh fruits. The large size seems to have a normal lid so I didn't have an issue like other reviews but I did see some people with the pseudo-wax paper thing. I got a blended drink with strawberry which my kid liked. read more

This is a very nice tea shop in Montebello. They're running 20% off for Montebello residents. Real fruits, real tea, no sugar is no sugar (I appreciate that!). I really liked the atmosphere in the shop. It's new and clean. Lovely seating both inside and outside. Friendly servers. They have free wifi and it connected but somehow didn't work on my devices. Plenty of parking on the street and in the plaza lot. read more

Got their mango grapefruit boom tea. It was a tad bit sweet for my liking there was no options to adjust sugar or ice level. It's a bit pricey considering it was about $8 for one drink. Multiple other tea stores sell the mango grapefruit boom tea (楊枝甘露）. the drink didn't taste bad but once the ice melted it became a watery mess. Great selection of fruit teas! My favorite was the peach boom with cheese foam- it had bits of fruit jelly in it. The dorayaki's were good and not too sweet. Good service from Stella. For parking, they have a parking lot that is shared with other businesses, or street parking. read more

Yay to a new tea spot located in Montebello! My friend and I came here for the grand opening. There was no trouble finding parking, and the building is located at the intersection. Interior decor is very cute. Plenty of seating inside and outside the building. We came around a few hours after the opening time, so I was surprised there was still BOGO deal going on. Service was very good and pleasant. We got the Cheese Strawberry Boom Tea and Cheese DanCong Oolong Tea. The strawberry one was sweet and delish. It's a comfortable environment you actually want to sit and chill in--not just grab and go. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but you absolutely get what you pay for. The tea flavor is bold and full-bodied--they don't water it down or skimp on ingredients like other spots do. Every sip tastes like quality. This place deserves way more hype. I really like their mange grapefruit bloom tea drink, we also tried the brown sugar boba milk tea and it was ok. It didn't have enough brown sugar flavor. We also tried their mango bloom drink and it just tasted like a mango smoothie. I would stick with the mango grapefruit bloom, I can tell they use fresh fruit. Inside of the place is really cute, definitely an upgrade from the previous tea place that was there before. I can't wait to try their souffle pancakes when they have it. read more

Came to try out this new place since I've heard good things about it! It was not too busy on a Monday night. I ordered the strawberry cream cheese dorayaki, red bean dorayaki and the coconut puffing mango coconut milk. They called it the coco mang mang? Thought it was a pretty cute nickname! I wanted to lower the sweetness and they told me that it's not as sweet as other places so I kept it at 100%. To my surprise, the drink was a perfect and not too sweet! The workers helped me warm up the dorayakis and they were SO GOOD. They told me they make it fresh in house and should come back for it whenever I crave it. So this place popped up in my insta feed one day and it was close to home, so I decided to swing by when I was in the area and today was that day. I was greeted by all the moment I entered. The interior was appealing, and everything looked nice and clean. I had ordered my usual tea house fave, anything with cheese foam! It was peach oolong. I had also got a lemon green tea for my Husband. Green tea is all he ever gets, but when he took that first sip, his eyebrows raised! Must be good tea! Had the brulee boba and the brown sugar milk tea here and I would recommend both. I wanted to try the souffle but they are not ready yet. We will definitely be back! This is the first time I've tried a boba spot AS IS (no changes to sweetness or anything else) and was satisfied with the taste. It's not too sweet, which is hard to come by in boba shops. The service was nice, quick and friendly and the way the dining room is set up is so cute! They have cute little couches that are very comfortable and I can see people coming here and have enough space to work, study, or even play board games with friends! read more

I got the matcha with coconut .... And the brulee tea I gave it a 4-10 and 2 dorayaki a strawberry and Oreo we didn't like them it was just 2 pieces of pancakes put together . I only liked the service the girl at the front was super friendly . read more
