I have been coming here for 3 years and pooja always does a good job. Last time I tried to go, I checked the hours online saying they open at 11:30. I got there at 11:45, and the salon wasnt open. I gave Pooja a call and she said she would be there at 12. I waited until 12:20 and she still never showed. The worst eyebrow threading service! The lady scratched my face and didn't clean properly. Avoid at all costs.

I went in for eyebrow wax over the weekend. Lady dripped wax on my upper lip and used wax strip to remove it without telling me. After practically jumping in the chair and telling her not to wax my upper lip, she didn't apologize and says it was a little wax, and threading is better. Hmm, I felt the irritation on one half of my upper lip afterward and had to put aloe gel on it when I got home. She also dripped wax on my hairline and ripped it off with wax strip. I also felt some get on my eyelash. She placed aloe gel on eyebrows, but then also rubbed it onto eyelids and around the lash line?? Why?? I had to wipe my eyes as soon as I sat up because they started burning. The waxer then proceeds to charge me full price and offer me a punch card for more visits-- no, thank you. I've been there in the past and vowed that I'd stop going due to business practices of signing somewhat if a waiver to get services done. I wondered what that was about but did not want to stick around and keep getting services at this salon to find out. Only went there because I didn't feel like going to my usual eyebrow threader and figured I'm nearby, I might as well get my eyebrows done. What could go wrong.... well, this went wrong. And my eyebrows are crooked. The next girl after me looked scared, walking to the chair to get her eyebrows done after witnessing this. I had to tell her, "Good luck." Listen to your gut. read more

I really wanted to like this spot because it's a great location and prices. I've gotten my legs waxed for the past 4 years and I've never gotten a wax that doesn't last me more than a month. Not sure if it's the roll on wax or the type of wax or what but my leg hair literally came back within a week, all prickly and rough like immediately. I tried it again to see if it was just a fluke but it happened the second time too even worse than the first. It gets the job down for a few days, but if you're looking for long lasting smooth legs, not the place to go. read more

I walked by this place several times when they opened and due to the pandemic, decided to wait. Christmas is coming and so is the New Year so it was time to cleanup my eyebrows. I walk in and the owner took me right away. The salon is very clean and well decorated. The owner was very nice and is herself a resident of Edgewater. The threading was quick and painless. More importantly, my eyebrows looked great! There's a card she handed me in which I could earn a free eyebrow thread after the 5th one. Sweet! Freebies make sense when you're a frequent customer.. which I plan to be! There are other services, too, that I plan on exploring throughout 2021. read more

Out of state customer that was looking for a quick fix! This place was affordable , clean and customer friendly. When I called in the morning a woman by the name Paiker picked up the phone and discussed pricing and appointment times. Upon arrival I was escorted to the back room and we got straight to work. Quick, efficient and painless, I was stripped of my body hair in a matter of minutes. For a full Bikini, armpit, and half leg wax I paid $85! WHAT! A! BARGAIN! Couldn't recommend this place enough. Only thing I would be a little cautious with is the wax removal. I'm still finding little patches on my legs and bikini area that have some leftover wax. I normally go here to get my eyebrows threaded and I usually really like how it turns out, however, I went here today and the new person she was training did not do a great job. She took way too much off of my left eyebrow and now my eyebrows look uneven without makeup. I wish I knew beforehand that she was still in training cause I would have otherwise waited to be have my brows done by the other woman who normally does my brows. Or if she was still in training, I wish she could have been supervised more. I feel like my brows came out super uneven and it's annoying having to deal with this, especially during the holiday season. I don't think I'll be returning because of this experience. edit: The same girl also threaded my upper lip the skin around my lip is currently burning and in pain because she was way too rough (I think she also made me bleed during my appointment because she kept using a napkin to wipe around my mouth). read more
