Now, word to the wise, a friend of mine and I came here after a hike - the BEST time to stop into any winery :) - It was Sunday around 1pm and every table outside was completely booked and we had two dogs with us, so we had to sit outside. We were almost out of luck, but thankfully one reservation did not show, so after a short wait, they seated us right by the stage. All of the staff were friendly and helped us get settled in, even offering a dog water bowl and little dog yoga mats so they would be comfy on the gravel. We ordered a flight - 6 tastes for $15, highly recommend and we treated ourselves to a post-hike baked brie that was perfect. We found out that if you order three bottles of wine to take home your tasting is free, so naturally... :) I will call ahead and make a reservation next time so we can be seated right by the river. But the kicker was the service! The young smiling man who immediately seated us, the bartender who checked in multiple times on our drinks but finally, Nikki our server took excellent care of us and could not have been more friendly and helpful. We also had kung pao beef and the beef quality was also very fresh, and tender but perfectly cooked and it was not like 90% of Chinese places that soft but chewy beef so common to find. Because of that I must must must go back and try the orange beef. The sauce flavor was deep, rich and a little spicy, just as hoped. As I was eating I told my partner, I think this is the best American style Chinese food I've ever had in Colorado and that's true. Rivals anything in NY or San Fran.
