Showed up on a Sunday and it was packed. Line out the door. Quick service. Tasty donuts. Maple bars were delicious. Still hot when I brought them home. Definitely coming back for more. Good prices. I would have expected it to be a few more dollars for the quality and taste. Plenty of places to sit if you want additionally there is an outside area with seating as well. The best donuts I've ever had were bought here. So soft with just the right amount of glaze. There's no such thing as a perfect food place sometimes the donuts are tad bit too sweet for me lol but if I had to choose between Krispy Kreme or any other I've tried I'll come spend my money here every time. The BEST DONUTS SHOP EVER!!!! They are the most softest, moist, delicous donuts I have ever had! Fresh every day. There prices are cheap for the quality of donuts. Way better then crispy cream or dunkins. There coffee is really good too. The coffee beans are freshly ground for every pot. The ham and cheese croissants are delicious. Used to be a good mom and pop donut shop and the only one here in town, however it has been falling short in recent years. There are always different people working and looking sleepy headed like they just woke up. When going into a donut shop at 5am i would expect to have more than one or two "wet" trays of donuts. When asked for a box to lay out the guy working said no and stuffed several into a bag and smashed them all up. There is also no debit card reader and they only take cash.... probably to avoid paying taxes. Also if you are white and not a friend of the family and other people are in the area be prepared to move to the back of the line. For as much as you pay for a dozen donuts usually around $8 or $9 for just basic products and lackluster service i would expect not to be treated like they're doing ME a favor by selling me their disappointing products. read more

Love this Place! Sunshine Donut Co. has the absolute BEST donuts around. Friends and relatives always ask me to pick up donuts from here if they know I am going to the Bay Area...especially the apple fritters and filled maple bars. The raised glazed, cinnamon rolls, old fashioned, french, and fancy cake donuts are perfect, along with the maple bars and apple fritters...I have not tried any others, but I am betting they are perfect, too. I have been buying donuts here for about 10 years, and have never had a donut that was greasy or overdone. read more
