Too much syrup used in lattes. Would definitely recommend ordering them light, because it was not finishable.

I love SoBol, especially the one in Mamorneck. Their granola is one of the best I have gotten in an…read moreaçaí bowl. They also put the perfect amount of Nutella and in the perfect spot that when you put the lid on, it doesn't stick to the top. Most places when I take it to go that happens and it's disappointing. They launched a new chocolate flavor açaí base. I was afraid to order it so the women let me try a sample. So sweet! They are located on Mamaroneck ave which is so close to my job. I can go all the time, if it weren't for money!

SoBol Mamaroneck Experience…read more During lockdown I had been going through Açaí Bowl withdrawals and needed to satiate my Açaí fix. CV-19 restrictions began to ease slightly, so having already checked my Yelp app for the nearest SoBol location and heading to Westchester anyway, I included SoBol Mamaroneck as a pitstop. SoBol's setups are modern, with neat esthetics. This Mamaroneck location shares a fairly large space with an ice cream parlor, offering the allowance of more seating to properly social distance. After 6 months of no Syosset açaí in my monthly rotation, my anticipation and expectations were high. I ordered my usual, regular açaí with ground flaxseeds and layered almond butter. The server behind the counter couldn't comprehend what ground flaxseeds were and had to ask someone. I certainly get it, you live and you learn something new everyday. The other young lady mentioned they only had whole flaxseeds. No problem I'll take the whole seeds. As for the request to layer the almond butter, that was another foreign ask to the poor servers as they had no clue what layering meant. Okay, another teachable Açaí Bowl moment. The ladies were pleasant but this was not a great start. Please note, my request for Ground Flaxseeds and layering of a nut butter are not something I made up. These were suggestions offered to me by the Syosset, Long Island location. Ground Flaxseeds over Whole are more palatable imo. As for the almond butter, it was added but as a single dollop, rather than the preferred layering which usually provides a spoonful of happiness with each bite. I will own the fact that I've been spoiled by the Syosset location and I have them to blame for my expectations. Sadly, the Mamaroneck açaí was a tad icy and lacked that all knowing açaí flavor. Having had consistent bowls elsewhere, it goes without saying I won't be venturing to the Mamaroneck location again. I've since lost my craving and currently don't mind waiting until I am back within the vicinity of Syosset to receive a properly made SoBol Açaí Bowl. 3.5 Stars for a very clean store plus patient servers.

We ordered a Classic…read moreMango-Pineapple Bowl with vanilla plant protein + peanut butter added ($17.02) and a 24oz Chocolate Cacao Smoothie with chocolate plant protein ($13.92). Everything tasted fresh and was genuinely delicious. The mango bowl in particular was so good, and the peanut butter on top really makes it. The large smoothie is a true large and works well as a filling, high-protein meal replacement. The only downside was the cost. Our total came out to $33 for two items, and I was surprised at how quickly the add-ons add up (protein and peanut butter drizzle aren't cheap). Great quality and flavor, just definitely on the pricier side if you customize. Would still come back when I want a clean, high-protein option, just good to know the extras can bump the total fast.

It was more like chicken without the seasoning. For $15 I expected more. I actually didn't mind that so much. What I did mind was the impersonal cashier taking my order. No smile no good morning no emotion. She ask for a name to call for the order and didn't even call the name, but the drink instead. I'm sure other people are use to that kind of service, but good service with a smile goes a long way. Perhaps she was having a bad day. I doubt I will be coming back. Service is make it or break it for me. Please have someone with a little more life behind the counter.

Five stars for the amazing staff that works here and their kindness and hard working!…read more Usual smoothie bowl places always have a little fresh ingredient and excitement about them when you walk in. This place felt a bit gloomy and down but either way I came in for a smoothie as I was in between work and needed a quick pick me upper that wouldn't take too much time and would feel me up. I ordered a Bango Boss with banana, flax seed, peanut butter, chocolate protein and almond milk. Loved that I was able to customize the chocolate protein and milk for a plant based one. Even though it was busy the smoothie came out pretty fast and while my first sip didn't have me dancing in place with my eyes closed, the smoothie did keep me held up during a super busy work day. I do wish it was slightly more chocolatey and you could also taste the peanut butter. Other than that great spot to get a smoothie or açaí bowl if you're in Scarsdale. Restrooms are available but located in the main building. You need a key to access them and to go up and elevator and finally land this sketchy floor to use the restroom. So just be sure to either hold off or know before you go :)

Going to Bango Bowl on 3/31 was a pleasant experience. Now if I gave this review, June 2021 it'd be…read morean entirely different saying with one star. Back then, they used to sell steal cut oats. The oats were delicious in my opinion, I guess because I would devour any bowl of oatmeal at any given day of the week with no complaints, the thing that gave it one star back then was the customer service. It sucked tremendously. I'd walk in and the person washing dishes would look up to see who came in and continued washing dishes. I walked out on several occasions and that sealed the deal for me. On 4/3/26 I decided to return after a 6 year hiatus. I was craving oatmeal so I came in to get a to go order and WOW! Talking about transformation. The restaurant was properly staffed, with about 3 workers. Why am I ecstatic, the person said hi, how may I help you. I knew right then and there that change had occurred. I asked for the oatmeal and they informed me that they don't have it. So the owner and I sparked up a conversation about the transformation of Bango Bowl and how they revised the menu and retrained the staff. I purchased a Southwest sunrise wrap for breakfast and I returned for lunch to get the Mediterranean avocado bowl. Yummy! On 04/06 I returned for lunch. I would be staying this time. There were two customers in the front chating and 2 workers. I got the chicken fajita bowl. Each time I ate here the food was great and really tasty. No complains about the taste. But I was a little disappointed. I had to look for a clean table. Improvements- instead of the employees relaxing while there's only 2 customer in house, clean the tables and then relax! Pro-Tip, sign up for the reward system to get a discount and you may want to grab the southwest wrap. You can thank me later. So 3 stars rounded up to 4 stars only because improvements are still needed. I feel the workers should take the initiative to clean and keep a tidy store even when the manager's not there. But still ... Inspire more, Yelp more!

Okayyyyyy, Bango, okayyyyyy…read more I've been to Bango a few times (different locations) for their smoothie bowls. I never had a salad before but now there's no turning back. I had one of their signature salads and it was DELICIOUS and a huge portion. It was a solid $10 less than what I spend on the same thing at salad spots in the city. I ordered online and it was ready really quickly too.

We went heavy on appetizers; shishito peppers (not for the faint of heart), Pastrami egg rolls (everyone's fave), Crispy artichokes and Hummus (awesome pita! Mom's favorite). The Shrimp & Lobster Mac and cheese was a standout. Loved by all. Chicken Shawarma was fine. Ordered: Crispy artichokes ($15)- these were fried and tasty with a creamy yogurt sauce. Nothing crazy or exotic flavor wise, but enjoyable. Polenta bites ($12)- I really enjoyed these! They were a little salty, a little smoky (bacon) and a little sweet (honey). I will say that I strongly recommend Village Social either update their menu or change the toppings, as these polenta bites were topped with crispy bacon but the menu did not indicate this. Vegetarians in our group didn't realize this dish wasn't vegetarian. Chicken Milanese ($28)- the portion was very generous! It came with a large chicken breast and I requested to change the salad on top to Caesar. I appreciated their willingness to modify the order. All in all, I'd recommend checking out Village Social the next time you're looking for a dinner spot in the area.
