I know for lunch you don't want long wait times. Our server was so great. She was very nice, attentive and friendly. Been here and the Lewiston location and always had good food. Still the same. Our food was delicious. Very nice portion sizes as well. We started off with the burnt ends.. YUM. The smoke flavor definitely came through and it came with some pickleld veggies and cucumbers, it was fresh and tasty. I went with the crab and corn chowder with the bourbon jam burger and fries. Also at the table was a basket of fried shrimp, and the chicken waffles. First let me say their seasoned fries are absolutely amazing. Fried perfect and when they call them seasoned, that they are in a great way! My crab and corn chowder was tasty. I could used bit more crab but that didn't take away from it tasting good. My burger was cooked as I liked. I wish the bacon jam to blue cheese ratio were a bit better. I had way more blue cheese than bacon jam so it was a bit over powering to where I couldn't even taste the bacon jam..but again the flavor and cook was great. I didn't taste the other food items but they looked great and who did eat them said they were good

I arrived around 1:15 PM, and when I was greeted at the host stand, I was told I could sit at the bar. I mentioned that I preferred a table, and the response was that they closed at 2:00 PM. I was honestly about to leave, but I was very hungry and didn't feel like searching for another restaurant, so I decided to stay. Thankfully, once I was seated, the experience completely turned around. I mentioned that I had recently had throat surgery and needed something soft to eat. The woman was kind enough to bring me out some soup to sample. The soup was delicious, and I really appreciated her going out of her way to let me try it, even though I ultimately decided not to order it. I ended up getting the French toast, and it was light, fluffy, and delicious! The prices are also very fair, especially considering the quality and portion. I do wish the beginning of my experience had been a little warmer, because the initial interaction almost had me leaving. However, the service improved, the food was wonderful, and I'm glad I stayed. Overall, a great meal at a fair price, and I will definitely be back!

Our server Michelle was great! Welcomed us and very friendly. The omelets were good. Generous portions of bacon, sausage and steak in them. Food was served fairly quick considering how busy they were. I appreciate when a restaurant gives you a carafe of coffee at your table. It's definitely time for a remodel. Duct tape over the holes in the booth isn't the way to go.

We both had a Bloody Mary which was standard with no over the top garnish besides olives. Tasty. The place offers all the diner foods and breakfast options. Nothing crazy and that's fine. Nice, clean and casual. I had a hot roast beef sandwich with white bread and fries dripping in that oddly satisfying brown gravy. M had broiled haddock with coleslaw. Both were very satisfying. Note that they don't carry gluten free rolls but the waitress went out of her way to inform us that, when we were ordering, she steered us away from an item that may have been a gluten issue. Thanks for that. If I lived a little closer, I could see myself hanging at the bar and ordering their food more often.

It arrived a little while later and was as incredible and delicious as ever. I just love everything about this sandwich, from the plentiful, ultra tender beef to the ooey gooey cheese to the perfectly grilled exterior. And the whole thing is enhanced by the excellent gravy that's included. The fries are great, too. It's an enormous sandwich, so I didn't think I'd order anything else, but I couldn't resist the call of the Cup of Sausage Gravy & Biscuits ("A cup of Bob Evans sausage gravy served with freshly-baked biscuits"). I regret nothing because it was exquisite. It's so heavy but just so, so good. Thank god there isn't a Bob Evans near me because I'd be dead now from ordering that dish way too often.
