Cute Spot with Great Staff but Different Vibes Day vs. Late Night Ambiance and Setup This place is super cute and has a really nice patio style "rooftop" area (technically the second floor). The decor is fun and aesthetic, and it's a great spot for brunch, drinks, or hookah. You do have to walk up about two short flights of stairs to get there. I didn't see an elevator, so that's something to keep in mind. Parking There is shared parking downstairs with the other businesses in the building. During the day it can get pretty full, but when we came late at night there was plenty of parking available. Food and Drinks On our recent visit we ordered the nachos and added protein, and they were really good...flavorful and filling. I've also been here before for breakfast/brunch a couple years ago and the food was great then too. The mimosas were really good, and overall the brunch experience was wonderful. They also offer drinks and hookah, which is one of the reasons we wanted to come back at night. Games One thing I thought was really cool is that they provide some games for guests to play. We didn't end up using them, but it's a fun little touch that adds to the experience. Brunch / Breakfast Experience (5 Stars) When I came during the morning for breakfast and mimosas, the atmosphere was relaxed, cute, and really enjoyable. The staff was friendly and everything felt calm and welcoming. It was honestly a great brunch spot and I would absolutely recommend it for daytime visits. Late Night Experience (3 Stars) We came back late at night around 2 a.m. for food. While the staff and food were still great, the overall energy was very different from the daytime experience. The late night crowd was louder and higher energy, and some of the guests were a bit unfriendly, which made the atmosphere feel a little less comfortable for us personally. This isn't really the restaurant's fault, but it did change the vibe compared to the relaxed brunch visit I had before. Hookah Policy They do have a hookah minimum policy. For example, tables of three must order one hookah, tables of five must order two, and so on. If guests choose not to order hookah, there is a required minimum spend or a small fee per person. Just something to be aware of before going. Service Charge There is an 18% service charge added, so keep that in mind when budgeting. Service The hostess and waitress were both very friendly and attentive. Even when things got busy, they stayed calm and professional, which we really appreciated. Overall Still a really cute place with great service and good food. I'd personally recommend coming earlier in the evening or during brunch hours if you're looking for a more relaxed atmosphere. I'd definitely return during the daytime again.
Mojo delivered outstanding service--attentive, personable, and made the whole experience feel effortless. From our hookah to champagne and drinks, everything was handled smoothly and with great energy. He checked in just the right amount and kept the vibe elevated all night. Definitely the kind of service that brings you back.
Parking is free at nights and there is a small parking lot. They have gold champagne flutes that are so cute and a dj that comes in. They do a lot here such as sip and paints, candle making and karaoke. For birthdays they give a complimentary dessert, sparkler, bubbles from a gun, etc. We got a bottle of Moet and they put it on ice. When there is no dj they have just a music box that you put money into. We can that up of $40 because the box didn't really play good music on its own. Service was good and prices not too bad. Bottled water- $1 Wings- $15 Shot- $15 They had some hot lemon pepper wings and the fries were 10000000/100000000000. Seasoned very well, fresh and homemade. They gives lots of ranches and ketchup and a side of carrots and celery. It was tasty! They have hookah here too!
The space is super cute and I'm sure I'll go back to take advantage of one of the little private rooms you can rent by the hour. However, I went for a Groupon experience, bottomless mimosas and candle making. I was told to make a reservation, which was easy to do, I simply called and told the hostess I purchased the candle making for two people and wanted to make a reservation for the following Sunday and she easily added me +1 for 5:30pm. Unfortunately, upon check in, I was told that candle making is actually at 8pm and paint and sip is 5:30pm. I explained that when I made the reservation she asked if 5:30 worked and I said yes. The hostess informed me that it was a mistake because candles are 8pm every day with paint @5:30 every day. She offered to add me to the paint, which although I don't enjoy at all, my friend was down for. As we were early we decided to order some food. I asked for a draft beer and was told it wasn't working, so I ordered a bottle of beer, which at $9 I thought was a bit pricey. We ordered nachos and were told they were out- this was at 4:45 pm on a Sunday. After checking with the chef, the server told us that we could indeed order nachos. We also ordered hummus and grilled pita which for $13 an order, I figured had to be massive. I'll let you decide by the pics. The sun was setting and again I thought the outside space was adorable and perfect for a craft Again, let me stress that I strongly dislike all paint nights but even my friend said it wasn't the most fun experience she's had without a fun and involved teacher. All in all, pretty pricey but cute space.
Royale was cool as our server, my first time @sunsetrooftop. Marino was also great for keeping our hookah maintained. I ordered hot pepper wings & fries they were yummy and hot. The kitchen is currently being renovated, my daughter having her engagement party on august 30th hopefully it will be ready. This place is cozy we had fun a lot , they are some things that isn't good. The parking lot is very small there's street parking available. The stairs are somewhat narrow and steep, happy I wore low heels. As we were leaving I asked the security guard was there an elevator he said yes. All in all it's cute cozy just needs a few improvements....
Such a cute fun candle making class. We had a private room we share with 2 other gals who were cool. We were able to connect to a speaker and play our own music. We did have to take our creations outside in the cool air for them to harden faster which it did quickly. Outside is a cute small outdoor area with a large TV playing sports and music playing. Love that they have games on the tables to play. Great vibe! Would definitely come back. Only issue I have is that the candle won't stay lit!! The wooden wicks do not work!! Travel_lifestyle_chow
Came for a comedy show. It was a cute little spot. The service was really nice and fast. The drinks were delicious.

I was a little concerned based on the reviews, but I didn't let it steer me away, especially considering I got a great deal on Groupon for their bottomless mimosas. We came Thanksgiving weekend, shortly after 2pm which I was happy we did since it wasn't packed and they end bottomless at 5pm. That alone is a game changer, especially for the folks who don't want brunch and just like to enjoy mimosas on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I can definitely see it being more vibey on a busy weekend where people aren't traveling for the holidays, but this was perfect for us. They were also playing some great music, a little Sza moment if you will. Restaurant is located upstairs and has both an indoor/outdoor area to sit. We sat in the patio as it was a nice day. The patio is covered, has heaters, and walls and ceiling are covered with fake grass and flowers. There was a tv also playing the football game. Jupiter was our server. He was super attentive and helpful! His energy was great and was so kind when we requested to change tables as we wanted a little more sun. The mimosas came in a gold champagne flute which made me feel like I was in VH1 Love is Blind. I was so here for that! They offered pineapple, orange, and cranberry flavor mimosas, all which were great! We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and Cheeseburger that were each served with seasoned fries. We were definately a fan of their fries. It's the big cut, soft but fully cooked style. If your wanting that small thin fry crispy stuff, it's not here. This is more of a preference thing. We also ordered their nachos with steak. Home made chips! You can tell they were fresh out the fryer topped with the cheese. The meat was so perfectly seasoned, served with guac, pico, and salsa verde on the side which was different than how nachos are typically served but we didn't mind at all. We were all happy and satisfied with the dishes we ordered. They also host several events, so follow them online to see. From candle making, to silent disco, to paint and sip, it looks like they don't fall short of entertainment. Only things I wish was that their plates wouldn't be plastic with disposable condiment containers, felt cheap like those mom and pop burger joints where they serve burgers and ranch on the side. They also need to update their menu and prices. Overall though, it was a good place. I would go back. read more

Took my first paint and sip class with Taylor here and it was great. I am a horrible painter and artist and I was able to follow along and create a great replica of the drawing. Would definitely take another class here. read more

AMAZING experience at Sumset Rooftop for a pottery and sip birthday celebration!!! Margarita tower was bomb, garlic fries were delish. So fun & Taylor and Mikki took such great care of us!!! Would definitely host a party here again! read more

False advertising and terrible management. Came here for a well advertised pottery class. Instructor was super nice - and that's the only positive I have. You get modeling clay (like the kind in kindergarten). No kiln and no spinning molders. No real clay to actually make lasting pottery. Owner was very rude and tried to move us into a small room to make space for a fight he sold the rooftop to. He was unapologetic despite the class being advertised and sold as a sunset rooftop experience. Waste of time and money. (Instructor was lovely) read more
Hmmm what to say what to say. Sunset rooftop definitely met my expectations for a brunch spot on a weekday. It was empty which was fine with me, service was solid, bottomless mimosas did what they were supposed to do, and the omelette was an omelette. The food wasn't over the top spectacular but if you want a solid omelette, good music, and well poured mimosas then this is your spot. 4/5 would come again read more

Soooo cute! So I want to start off by saying I got the pottery deal with GroupOn, however I got booked for paint and sip.. not sure what happen there but to be honest I didn't really care because the coupon was worth it and it wasn't a big deal to me. I was greeted by Ashley who was very kind and welcoming. She offered me a variety of drinks and was super knowledgeable on it. I came with my friend and we proceeded to follow Taylor our painting instructor. Very friendly, very good with instructions and perfect pace! Our drinks came by and they were BOMB (I got the lemon drop and my friend got the margarita and then I got a mojito later). I really enjoyed the class, the scenery and even the other ladies that were there sharing their special occasions.. My two thumbs down go to 1) the restroom bc it was DISGUSTING. And 2) an incident that occurred during paint and sip that I really want to shine light on because I didn't appreciate what occurred. Apparently there was a misunderstanding between the drink situation and the the server who offered it. Taylor decided to scold Ashley in front of everyone during the paint and sip class which I thought was really unprofessional and very uncomfortable. Did the girl mess up? Maybe. But that's a side talk. And there is nothing that irks me more than seeing someone get another employee in trouble in front of patrons. Anyway.. other than that I enjoyed the class, the drinks and would come again! Hopefully seeing Ashley doing her thaaang because with a lovely smile and a great attitude, it can take you places! :) read more

This space is a great reminder that a creative space can be for every age..a DJ, food, hookah bar..candle making..painting..comedy club.... Great way to socialize and get a beautiful candle to take home! Armand was very hospitable and made this a great night!!! Will go back for some of the other offerings!!!! read more

Came here for a birthday brunch and left wanting more. We ordered the bottomless mimosas which as other reviewers have noticed came pre mixed and honestly our first couple glasses were warm. Our waitress was sweet and helpful and we never felt neglected. The food was good, but nothing special. I ordered an omelette and the fruit plate. The potatoes that came with the omelette were my favorite part of the meal. We also purchased a hookah because why not. Hookah was good and I see realize maybe that's the real appeal of this place. Probably best to skip the lunch and come here after the bar or club. It's a rooftop but there's no real view and the area we sat in was pretty much all covered. Overall I wouldn't come back unless it was after hours. read more

For My Birthday my girlfriend surprised me to a Sip and Paint at Sunset rooftop! Honestly one of the best experience i've ever had , Great mimosas , Great service ! Shoutout to Taylor for the painting class. 1st time painting since maybe elementary haha. 100% recommend ! Make sure you guys check it out , Taylor will not disappoint! read more

This place is for people in their twenties that just want to drink and eat, and not too concerned about quality. Sunset Rooftop is a bar that needs a facelift as it feels worn out. One of the outdoor heaters was missing the lid and caused the plastic flowers to melt and drop into it. It took the restaurant multiple requests and the flame to rise before addressing it. They advertise drinks with alcohol (vodka, etc.) but the fine print says it's high proof wine, who does that? Ordered the mimosas since it was bottomless and it's Saturday. It comes pre-mixed and the waitress is unable to adjust the juice level. The nachos were plain and the chicken was overcooked. We stopped ordering at this point and went somewhere else. read more

We went there for a quick brunch since Roscoe's wasn't open due to an event. Place was pretty cute and had music, it's getting two stars just because food was decent. The service though needs help! Took more than 20 minutes just to get water, and we had ordered "bottomless mimosas" at the same time of water which came out about 30min in. Which usually my partner and I can keep drinking no problem unless you like constantly waiting for a refill not the place to go we got maybe 6 each in the couple hours we were there. The server would bring something and disappear every time you wouldn't see here for a while. When we finished our food she had us pay and stated she would keep bringing drinks, which was one. We then sat there for a good 30 minutes and nothing our time on parking was going to expire so we decided to leave. Food is decent but service definitely needs to step up big time, there was another server there that seemed to be checking on her two tables, wish we would've gotten her. read more
