My son ordered the super breakfast. The 1/2 waffle was nice and eggs over easy were done to perfection. But The reason for this 5 star glowing review was because of the server. The server was a young male, who didn't look like he had a lot of experience. However He was fast friendly and always smiling and accommodating. When I asked for peanut butter for the toast, he got it right away. Same for when I asked for extra napkins. And to top it off he came to refill out water not once but twice without me asking. What set him apart was, he not only gave us extremely great service, but I observed him treat all the other customers with the same level of service as well. All done with a warm and greeting smile. With the various stores that have popped up in the area, I visit it a lot more. There was plenty of parking. I got one within steps of the main door. I went in and was promptly greeted by one of the staff. I sat down and got a menu handed to me. I had a cheerful server. I ordered three slices of French toast with a side order of sausage links. It's my go-to meal. I do branch our more at Sunset Grill, as I love the variety and food. I got my meal fairly quickly. The problem? I got two slices of French toast instead of three. Yes, my minor in math does come in handy! My server may have been super busy, but she also noted that something was wrong with my order and came back without my flagging her. She apologized, took my plate, and a few minutes later, I got all three pieces of French toast. Nice! As expected, I enjoyed my French toast and sausage links. I find that all three Sunset Grill eateries that I have been to make consistent, delicious food. The hours of operation at this restaurant tend to stay open longer than the ones that I have been to. They give a pretty large portion I feel everything is shareable. I do not like turkey bacon at all. I don't know why they did to this turkey bacon or if it was because we were in Canada. The poached eggs were medium with lots of yolk to spread on the peameal bacon and english muffin. The shredded potato hashbrown is addictive and massive portions. The baked beans were nice and warm to compliment your breakfast. I ordered the 3 eggs over easy with 3 sausages and 3 bacon. They actually serve 4 eggs which I assume they are using medium sized eggs. That's OK as the extra makes up for the smaller eggs. You get a choice of toast ( white, whole wheat or rye) along with shredded potato hashbrowns or home fries. My mother-in-law ordered the Western Omelet with ham and onion. She really enjoyed the dish and she managed to eat almost half of the dish. The coffee is bottomless and the service is very friendly. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience with warm vibes, good food, and friendly staff, though it wasn't anything particularly memorable.
