I can't remember her name, but she was full of information and fun facts. I come from the restaurant industry and love food and good service more than anything. Creating an experience for someone is very rewarding !! I am from Vancouver and have lived abroad for years. I am a fan of mind blowing burgers. I am normally let down when I order a burger in Canada --- Vancouver especially. Canadians struggle with cooking kickass burgers. I could go on and on about it , but I'll spare you the dramatics. I asked the lovely waitress about the burger and how I'd only order it if was cooked on the medium rare side. (How a burger should always be cooked ) She explained that there beef was sirloin ground And will have cooked medium rare for me!!! WHAT HAPPENED NEXT nearly knocked me off my stool!! Holy Sh*t !!!! This burger trumped any burger I've ever had and then some. Everything was perfect about it. The simple ingredients were placed with care and super fresh. The bun was toasted yet soft inside , the seasoning and love in the burger totally rocked. So everyone. Please try a burger or anything for that matter At the Belsize. About midway in our meal, I asked her how often do people say that she looks like Elizabeth Olsen? And she said at least once a day. When I informed our server about what I wanted to order, she was very honest and said that based on feedback, the dish did not receive great feedback. I did get reassurance though that if I was not satisfied with my order, then she would take the proper steps needed to enjoy my meal. I initially ordered my meal with onion rings, but it did come with fries. I did inform our service and after reconfirming the order, she did bring an extra side of onion rings as was my order. The error was acknowledged and addressed properly. Overall, she was very informative and was always keeping us up to date with the progress of our meal, although it did feel like to took a bit longer than I feel it should have. Food: A When I was looking for places, I browsed various venues. The dish that caught my eye for this place was the soft shell crab burger. The pic on the menu looked really impressive to me. There was a giant crab that could barely fit into the burger bun. That's what pushed me to try this place. When I received the burger, it was definitely not like in the picture. The arms and legs that were sticking out in the picture were not there, and it looked like a small shell was all that was included in the bread with some sauce. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't matching, I chose to ignore that view and still take a bite. In spite of not getting the appearance on the menu, I was very surprised by the taste. I could easily taste the crab shell with the chipotle sauce and it was delicious. I really did savor bite. Of course it could always be bigger, but the taste was so good I definitely was pleased with my choice. I provided my feedback to our server as well. My friend ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it looked pretty good. I was able to get a small bite, and although it was good, it wasn't anything that really stood out in my mind. Sides were definitely tasty. I liked the onion rings more than the fries. Didn't really feel like splurging on a beverage, kept it simple with a water Value: B In this time of rampant inflation, going out really is a luxury now. I have never been to this pub before, so I can't really compare it to previous visits to see if the serving size has changed. In general, I think that it's not uncommon to go to a sit down service and spend upwards of 30-40$ per person. My total bill came just under 20$ with tax and tip. It did help a bit with the extra side, but for the overall taste of my burger, I felt it was a fair price. As previously mentioned, of the burger was a bit bigger, that would have been better Overall: A- This establishment provided an excellent experience for a first visit. We went during prime time for eating out on a Friday evening, so its not really surprised for waiting for seating. Our server was excellent, my food was delicious and the service was too notch. I tipped 15% instead of my usual 20% because of him. If you want cheap wings, the deal is good, but don't expect basic hospitality from the management.

I also think the staff could have been arranged a little better -- perhaps leaving one server available to attend to other customers who might walk in. I quickly placed my order with Aaron, but I had one more item I wanted to order afterward. Again, I had to walk up to the bar area and wait quite a while before I could place the additional order. Luckily, the food came relatively quickly considering the large party. We ordered the Chicken Parm, Mushroom Melter, and Kids Cheese Pizza with the Broccoli Cheddar Soup as a side. The food itself was decent and flavourful -- pretty classic comfort food. I found the cheese pizza to be a bit too salty for kids, and my kid didn't eat it, but the broccoli cheddar soup was pretty good. Honestly, the service was nonexistent if it wasn't for Aaron. He was friendly and apologetic when I approached him to get seated, and I appreciated that. Giving this a two star because of Aaron's service and the food was decent. Both were loaded with fresh toppings notably the chunks of avocado, cabbage, chili avocado aioli. They were messy but couldn't help myself licking my fingers. The fish was a bit small but for $6 in this economy who's complaining? The chili lime chicken taco was also a standout as well. The parmesan fries were covered in salty bits of parmesan and the garlic aioli dipping sauce was just divine. The service was friendly and professional. Miguel checked on us to make sure the food was good. The food runners were nice too. Overall, we enjoyed our happy hour dining experience and I am surprised the ratings are so low here. Trust me give Milestones a try and I love their diverse menu and they even have a halal menu as well.
