August 18/2015: A solo breakfast…read more Tiny little diner. Less than 50 seats for customers with an old style 50' theme. I ordered the Eggs Benedict ($17.25). Small serving but not bad taste wise. My server was very nice but wouldn't allow me to take advantage of the breakfast specials because I was there at 11:10 & the specials expired at 11:00, which I kinda understood. I found that to be a rather chinchy move in my opinion. Nothing to write home for food. It didn't really offer anything special but it was good. Peameal bacon was nicely done. I doubt I'd go again, there's not enough of a uniqueness to warrant another visit.

Took me a few minutes to figure out how to eat it when the burger arrived at the table. After thinking about it for a few minutes i just cut off the ends of the burger and turned it into a regular burger. The burger was super tasty topping were fresh, perfect amount of cheese and bacon. Fries were crispy and golden brown. Although this may not be my first choice to go and have a burger but I will come back to Wimpy's.

Let me start by saying that this restaurant feels overpriced, especially when compared to other…read morebreakfast spots like Denny's. While I appreciate the nostalgic aesthetic--reminiscent of old-school diners or even the classic Zeller's cafeteria--the charm doesn't quite make up for the food. I ordered a standard breakfast: sausages, eggs, and fries. It's the kind of meal that should be hard to get wrong, yet it was surprisingly bland. There was little to no flavor--no seasoning, no depth. At places like Denny's, you at least get a bit of flavor and seasoning, but here it felt like something was missing, possibly even just a pinch of salt. Overall, the atmosphere may appeal to some, but when it comes to food and value, there are definitely better options out there.

May 14/2023: Breakfast with my amazing wife…read more This was a decent breakfast. Bacon, sausage, eggs & french toast. All tasted very good & all had the right hot temperatures. What stood out was the server staff. Our server was exceptionally nice & made us feel special. She made a minor error in the bill (charged for a coffee we didn't order) but we decided that it wasn't a biggie, point it out & let it go. She even gave my wife a flower as we left. If you I'm the market for a decent breakfast, go here.

This is sort of a strange place for breakfast. You would expect to sit down and have someone come…read moreto your table for your order. Not here. It's like McDonalds, you order at the counter BEFORE you sit down. Menu on the wall behind the cash register. You pour your own coffee and sit down. After a while your order comes out. We ordered but the orders got mixed. Eggs were scrambled eggs came out where the order was over medium. Other orders we also mixed up. One of my party was so hungry he just accepted the wrong order. On a good note all breakfasts have three eggs. My order came out right with eggs, bacon, toast, and potatoes. Bacon was cooked OK but there was not much meat in the strips. Potatoes looked good but there was just something that seemed off with them. Eggs were OK as was the toast. I liked that you could go back and refill your coffee cup but you had to get up walk over to the pot and refill your cup. Good portions were good with presentation also good. Place was clean and had an OK feeling inside. Guy behind the cash register seemed to be trying but, once again something just seemed off. As I'm not a local Brampton resident I can't address the prices but they seemed OK. At 9am on a Friday morning there were some customers but it was not crowded or empty. Overall not a bad place to have breakfast but I didn't like the McDonalds process. If I wanted fast food I'd god to McDonalds but I expected something a notch up. Bottom line, would I go back? Not by my choice. If I was tagging along with someone else that wanted to go here I would but first I would suggest somewhere else.

The food on the other hand was terrible! I had the American Slam ($15.99). Scrambled eggs with 2 each of bacon, sausage & toast. The eggs were cold (cheese didn't even melt). The sausage were lukewarm & the bacon slices were tiny. The best part of the meal was the extra crispy has brown. They were delicious! This is NOT a do over for me. There are better breakfast locations.

While in line, someone suggested the souvlaki and I was already aiming to get a gyro so I knew we were gonna be good. Parking was busy but not impossible to find here. It's fast casual. You can get food, some extra desserts and drinks/coffee and extra pita/flatbread or tzatziki sauce. I got a gyro and a "small" poutine. Let me just say that I've had a LOT of gyros and this one was by far the best. Tons of meat, toppings, just enough tzatziki that I didn't want to order an extra side (still should've). The poutine was enough to feed a family of four. Holy smokes this was spectacular. I'd have gotten extra gravy bc it's so much tastier here in Canada than anyplace in the USA. Family owned, this is a great place to come alone or with friends. You can eat something different every single time and it's just so delicious. I will be back. My goal is to try more stuff every time I'm here but the gyro was perfection so who knows? Support small owned businesses!

This was one of the only places a guy that I was seeing when I was in my early twenties and I would go, late at night, when we knew we wouldn't catch anyone else we knew out. The food was predictable, always - and not in a bad way - it just hit the spot after a night of drinking, or when you are hungover. The salad will forever have too much dressing and will be the unhealthiest thing but the souvlaki here was honestly the most shocking thing. Mind you I have not been in six and a half or seven years so don't take my word for it, but for a place to be around this long and still have loyal customers - they're really doing something right, it's not just sheer luck so give it a go! There is zero ambiance or date night feel here, okay. Don't take your girl unless you've been married over ten years. It's boys or girls night out material only. haha

Everything tasted delicious and of course spicy, which I love. Paneer plate was the best one I have ever had. The "Veggie Platter" and "Non-Veggie Platter" were both beautifully presented and delicious. Falafel, paneer and chicken tikka were marinated with a great combination of spices and were cooked to perfection. Entrées were served in a buffet style, including veggie and non-veggie options, variety of naan and desserts. My favorite were "Butter Chicken" and "Halwa".
