So glad and excited for the grand opening of Sunset Commons in the Sunset! From the moment I walked in, it felt welcoming, cozy, full of possibility. vibe is friendly and relaxed, plenty of large tables for hanging out, working on something creative. There's a nice wall of craft kits! you can buy and work on it right there. lovely space for community building and welcoming connections I tried the hojicha latte, delicious and comforting, gently sweet, just right for me. teas and drinks available for purchase. Other in my group tried the ginger cinnamon drink. Check out online calendar for workshops!

I am very impressed with the concept and execution of this store. From the location in the city to the buildout of the interiors, everything is thoughtful and beautiful! I have been looking forward to the grand opening for a while and today was the day! The thoughtful planning exceeded my expectations. The ambiance was lively because of the decorations, live band, speakers, snacks, and drinks. The owners, Carmen and Steven, were very welcoming to all of the guests and passionate about building a community. I ordered the hojicha latte and it was delicious!! Can't wait to come back to do arts and crafts here!

Such a cozy, cheerful space to make art and spend time, whether you're with friends or enjoying some solo creativity. The owners were absolutely lovely, and their genuine care for building a welcoming community really shines through. I loved the snack and beverage options, as well as the thoughtful variety of crafts to choose from. I can't wait to come back. Highly recommend! Incredible value for the prices as well - very reasonable. :)

What an amazing grand opening! The energy at Sunset Commons was great and it was very uplifting to see the community come out and support a small local business. The owner's Carmen and Steven were so positive and you can tell that they put their heart and soul into the business. I ordered a hojicha latte and it brought me back to when I visited Japan! It was smooth tasting and not too sweet. Perfect! I bought a clay kit for my daughter and I wish I could've stayed to craft. Definitely next time since we live so close. If you're nearby, I would definitely drop in for a drink and start a craft. The space is warm and inviting and it's great to meet our fellow neighbors. I'm looking forward to signing up for a craft session with my daughter and will be updating my review when I do.

Sunset commons is a really fun and cute shop that has lots of different crafts and activities. If you like crafting alone or with a friend, you should go to sunset commons. I have went multiple times, and have tried the little clay foods and the mini bakery. The people who work there are very nice and helpful. Sunset commons can be a place to just relax and have fun.

Arts, crafts & cake = perfect day! Came on a Tuesday afternoon for the yummiest treats + cozy vibes! They host private events, weekly workshops if you want to do it as a group or you can just pop in to buy the item of your choice and do it there. Think woobles, air dry clay, embroidery kits, paint by numbers and many more! They also sell blind boxes labubu & Smiski. The real deal!

Cool arts and craft store with many crafts options including my favorite wooden art pieces. Great to put together as gifts. :)

There's great energy for grand opening! Came here with friends and was recommended to check it out from a few different people! It's nice inside and spacious!

Such a cute new place in the Inner Sunset. Good for workshops but also just to drop in to get a Matcha and do a little craft.

Just visited Sunset Commons on their opening day -- such a great vibe! My daughter had an amazing body painting and absolutely loved it. Can't wait to come back for the workshops. So happy to have this creative space in the neighborhood!

My absolute favorite spot ! Movie night at Sunset Commons. Cameron is absolutely lovely and I hope for all the success with her craft cafe that has become such a sweet third space! I love to come and decompress after a long week, pick up a craft, have some pistachio cake, just a lil something to take the edge off! Such a reasonably priced self date!

The building was a printing press back in the day, so it's a bit of a maze but that's part of the charm. I've discovered some amazing local businesses. I recently went to their February artisan food fairs, and bought some delicious food products. They had a variety of food vendors: hot sauces, honey, dips, cookies, teas, and more. As for the craft fairs, respect jewelry, candles, cutting boards, and even a few food vendors. That's where I discovered Apisol, a woman-owned company based in the Peninsula that makes delicious sparkling honey beverages. Don't miss the vintage store on the first floor, which has really unique vintage products like postcards, buttons, posters, and more. There are so many fairs in the city, but the vendors here are ones that I haven't seen anywhere else. So check out their insta or their website for dates to their upcoming fairs.

I never heard of this place until a fellow Yelper brought this up to me and I said SFBox? I never heard or been in this location before and I am sure most of you never heard of this place either unless you search for history of the William Randolph Hearst printing press building so many years ago. The building was built in 1926 as a printing plant for the San Francisco Examiner. It is a nice mixed use building like a nice cozy maze to explore the nice layout and architecture of the old print shop. So upstairs about 2 floors and vendors are scattered so it's like a hunt for them, almost like a needle in haystack. Lol Well it's not that hard as you won't miss anyone. Too floor that where you will satisfy your sweet tooth . Yummy. The vendors that were there were a nice mix from tea, cheese, spices, India coffee , Turkish spreads, ice cream, giant cookies, healthy drinks, spreads, and I am sure you will find something you will enjoy. I don't normally buy stuff, but the honey , red beet, 2004 sweet land Bingdao $95 brick tea that is aged 21 years that can make 175 tea servings for $95, Il Fiorello basalmic vinegar was thick and smooth great texture and syrupy taste very captivating and Taste of Levant tahini and their chocolate jar of molasses was excellent and I had to buy them. Yummy in my tummy! Not sure if same vendors will be there again, so catch them the at your farmers market, festivals or next Eats event!

A Lifesaver for Our Wedding -- Exceptional Service and Stunning Space!…read more If I could give Carlos and Marigold more than five stars, I would. We were scheduled to have a small outdoor wedding ceremony at Mission Dolores Park, but when the San Francisco weather forecast turned "rough" just days before our April 1st date, we were in a total panic. I reached out to Carlos at the last minute, and the level of service we received was nothing short of extraordinary. Here is why you should book your next event here: Incredible Responsiveness: Carlos responded to my inquiry almost immediately and hopped on a call with me the same day to iron out the details. He made a high-stress situation feel completely manageable. Accommodating & Flexible: Even with our last-minute request, he was so generous with the timing. He allowed us to come in early at 2:00 PM to set up flowers and told us there was "no rush" to leave, letting our group stay and enjoy a drink before our dinner reservation. The Space is Stunning: We held our ceremony upstairs in a beautiful, dry, and welcoming space featuring a gorgeous mural. It was the perfect backdrop for our 10-person group--intimate, stylish, and full of character. Personal Touch: Carlos even provided his personal cell number for day-of coordination to ensure everything went smoothly. That level of care is rare. Carlos, thank you for your kindness and for helping us make our wedding ceremony so special. You lifted a huge weight off our shoulders, and we can't recommend Marigold enough!

It was really nice to see the sunlight come through on the daytime with the open roof concept. The music was a lovely experience as well. I really enjoyed it. Given how packed it was, I stood the entire time, even though I had gotten there probably 15 minutes before the show started. There was a huge line for the coffee when I arrived that didn't let up until halfway through the show. They are doing this again in September and I would recommend if you are in the area. The only thing that would have made it better would have been less people given the amount of chatter and distraction of people walking by. I'm curious as to what this venue looks like in other set ups and at different times of the day because it is beautiful, what a nice spot in San Francisco.
