I am so glad we found this place. I was on a trip with my fiancee and his family. We were looking for places to eat in Page. Considering it is a small town, there are not many options. It recently opened so all the tables are kind of all on one side of the building and there is a large space between the tables to the bar. So they can definitely afford to add a few tables, considering how popular this place is. My fiancee and his brother both got the chicken katsu bowl with rice. His dad got the baby kale caesar salad. His mom and I split the braised short-rib bowl with soba noodles. His family is Caucasian and have not really been exposed to a lot of Asian food. His mom was on the fence about the soba noodles but I managed to convince her. I think she is glad she agreed because she really liked the dish. His brother is also the hypochondriac and has very particular taste. But in a town like Page with limited options, it's either eat what's there or starve. But I think he liked his dish. He managed to eat a lot of it. The braised short-rib was a good choice. The sauce was really tasty, the meat was tender. Together with the noodles, it was like heaven in a bowl. It also came with a side of macaroni salad and bok-choy, which was in the dish. We also shared a churro sundae, which is 4 churros with vanilla ice cream, whip cream, and chocolate sauce. We came to this restaurant as it was the closest one you our hotel and had very good ratings. I understand that this little town gets busy and most places have long waiting times. Most places are understaffed too. Our only problem with this place is that they lied to us about waiting time. They told us 20-25 minutes at the beginning. We waited 30 minutes and went to check on it with the hostess. Their site with the wait list was still showing 34 minutes and the minutes grew while we were talking with them. It's not their first rodeo. They know their capabilities and should know that more realistic waiting time was over an hour. They still had 8 parties before us when we finally decided to leave. No food in this world is worth waiting for it that long. We went to one of Mexican restaurants in town (don't want to name the competition) and got the table right away. read more

I am very understanding of longer waits and slower service in a pandemic world due to staffing challenges. But the issue when we visited was blatantly clear on poor management of flow by the hostess. First she quotes incorrect wait times (told us 30 minutes) and we still were not seated after an hour and 15 minutes. I can understand the kitchen being behind, but at least seat us and offer drinks. Thankfully the wait staff was busting their asses off and I appreciate their hustle. The kitchen staff was also moving fast to make up for the horrible seating process. Overall, I could have easily given the food a 5 star review given how amazing the pork belly rice bowl was (no lie...one of the best pork bellies I've ever had) but cannot faithfully recommend this place unless they address those issues on their front of house flow.
