What a gem in Page right next to Horseshoe Bend! We missed the sunset, which the staff was telling us is incredible. When we walked in there were a couple of signs saying that they are very short staffed and that waits may be longer. Took less than 5 min to be seated. Granted it took almost 30 min for the food to come out, but it was so worth it! Wish we ordered an appetizer to shorten the wait. I had the BBQ Korean Short Ribs with soba noodles. What a huge delicious portion! I also did the recommended added egg - cooked perfectly, with a runny yolk. My husband got the Crispy Pork Belly bowl also with soba noodles. He was reminded of childhood Chinese style dish his mom made. All the dishes had a unique Island fusion flavor. We definitely could have shared one dish, but it made for some yummy leftovers. Nice view, clever cocktails, friendly service, tasty & creative dishes with a Hawaiian flair. I enjoyed my meal here, although as usual I didn't order healthy enough. Near the newer cheaper hotels and a scenic view overlook of the river and dam. Page is a bit disappointing restaurant-wise, so I'd pick this place as the best of the bunch, especially if you're already on this side of town. It was snowing on the late afternoon I went, so I had the place almost to myself. I can believe that the small staff could get overwhelmed in good weather with folks eating & drinking out on the patio. They had a sign warning about staffing shortages. So maybe stop by early, and try something new! (Quibble: udon was thin, not the fat Japanese kind I expected, but ...). Went last night for the 2nd time to this restaurant, be aware and be warned, they are quite dishonest. If you have any problem, such as my Wife and I encountered, cold food, obviously not fresh and verbalize this to the staff, they impose an 18% gratuity! Yes, it's noted on the menu, however small , we were 2 people and I asked a couple sitting next to us, they were not charged the 18% gratuity!!Probably because they didn't complain about anything. We were out on the wait list and pointed to the bar to wait for our table. 15 minutes later I received a text that our table was available. My Mushroom Cheeseburger with the extra Fried Egg and Tater Tots was a huge serving. The tots were super crispy. The burger was unmemorable except for the brioche bun. Great view but the food is too expensive and no good. The miso salmon is 43$...kali short rib bowl 33$... I get its a tourist town but this price is easily double what it should be, especially considering that everything was too oily and too saucy. BOMB ASIAN/ ASIAN FUSION FOOD ! I am shocked it was this good, considering Page is a small town. Definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area! I got the CRISPY PORK BELLY rice bowl, comes with some salad and a small side of mac salad. The pork belly was soo crispy and I really liked the sauce on the rice + the coconut vinegar dipping sauce it came with. I also tried some of my friend's KALBI SHORT RIBS, it was good as well but she said a little too saucey. Now my favorite I got to try from my other friend was the KATSU SANDWICH, and I think that was the best dish out of everyone yummm! also comes with fries Portions are also BIG, it was two meals for me! For starters, the interior is very beautiful with a high ceiling surrounded by windows. The view from the windows is lovely and the seating area inside and out is very spacious. All the dishes came with a very generous amount of protein that was well seasoned and isn't dry. I ordered the fried pork belly and thought it was well prepared. Never had fried pork belly before but I enjoyed the spin they put on the dish. On the other hand, the service is... less stellar... we had to wait maybe 10 minutes or so to be seated when there had to be 8+ open tables. It's fine, but overpriced for what you get. The bolgi fries were enjoyable, but the fries were very clearly frozen and not that good. The sauce was great and helped pull everything together. The char siu pork bowl was dissapointing for $24 - the pork wasn't very flavorful and the portions was a bit small. The roasted vegetables were well done. The soup was clearly made in house, and had pretty good ingredients, but was bland. My old fashioned was good, but I was expecting to taste a bit more of their take on it. I had the short ribs and I really had no idea what to do with thin strips of meat with bone in! The flavors were yummy but the way the meat was presented was off. My husband had the chicken and it was overcooked to rubber. The same went for the appetizers. There was just one thing off about each one. The Brussels sprouts could have been cooked a tiny bit longer and the wings were either too hot or just kind of weird (call me a traditionalist but I don't like teriyaki wings!). Teriyaki chicken was a bit saucy for my taste so I could have used a little more rice in my bowl but it was regardless delicious! Salmon and potatoes was amazing as was the steak. Appetizer was delish - 4.5 stars (Brussels sprouts; don't worried, says "fried" but they are not breaded; have a sweet glaze over top and some nuts in the dish that give the sweet a balance). The wait time was 45 minutes but there is such a neat spot in the back that allows for the perfect sunset views. We got some drinks while we watched the sunset and waited for our table. This place has the best views. They're food was absolutely delicious. They by far had some of the best Brussels sprouts and my kalbi short rib bowl was to die for. The only complaint I have is the food took a while to come out. People who arrived later than us received their food before us. I also ordered an egg to go with my short rib bowl and they forgot it.
