NEVER use their "pause subscription agreement" it is a scam. I was using the studio but decided to cancel my subscription. The person at the desk suggested I just pause the membership until I decide to come back so I said sure and then to my surprise the next month it went right back to full price. I asked to be refunded to clear things up (which should be simple) but they refused. I was hoping that they would put a higher value on someone who had been a customer with them for almost 2 years but they don't / won't give you the time of day.

This particular stand up though is quite large which makes the room just that much smaller for when you're getting ready ... it is a bit cramped but worth it . Complimentary eye wear is nice because I don have to buy the disposabl sticker ones if I forgot mine and you can see that they're being sanitized so it's not doubtful as to whether they're clean or not also a great selection of lotions there I bought a brand-new bottle and it was half the price that I was quoted for that same lotion at another tanning salon When I went they told me that the bulbs that just been replaced in the stand up booth, this made a big difference

When I brought this to their attention they were defensive in making sure I knew their bulbs were new and that I need to constantly readjust positions if I want to avoid white stripes. So now this is my fault? I've never been warned that using a lay down bed I need to be moving around so I don't get white stripes nor have I ever had this issue tanning anywhere else before. If their beds give their customers white stripes down their body that are absolutely humiliating then that should be said when signing up for a membership. Or they should get new beds because that doesn't seem right to me. Hoping to cancel my membership now Update: thanks to the owner for replying. I replied stating how frustrated I was, how they should warn their customers of white stripes, and how I'd like to discuss my membership. As a member of a place, I feel I should trust them to warn me about potential issues, I'm paying for the service that they should be knowledgeable about correct? And the lack of genuine concern and trying to upsell her higher level beds which I'd have to pay extra to use just to fix something they didn't want me about. They were also totally fine explaining my membership and how I can quit anytime I want to. I'm sorry but doesn't it make sense to try to retain long term customers? I was so brushed off and dismissed, I wasn't treated as a person, I wasn't understood about my frustrations. The company is very defensive to not take accountability and instead explain how the beds are obviously going to prevent uv exposure in some places and I can see for myself. Who here can explain how tanning beds worked? Is it obvious which places on a tanning bed will prevent uv exposure to someone who has been an inconsistent tanner for only 4 months? Is that common knowledge. because I was made to feel like it was instead of simply recognizing that this should have been communicated and they made a mistake, or even trying to make it right for me. Sorry kelly, I know this is your business and you want to defend it and I get one customer won't make a difference to your team losing. But I regret signing up at this salon and I'll be looking for a new membership at a salon that won't leave stripes along my back (or at least mention that it's a potential warning)

Their craftily written agreements will trap you into paying more than advertised and will not allow you to cancel as you are led to believe. This is a horribly run company that focuses on their bottom line and not on their customer satisfaction - they do not behave with honor nor integrity. This is the second time I have Sunscape Tanning a chance. The first incident happened a few years ago when one of their employees comp'd me a tan and then management took it away after the fact, and without notifying me, and took it off of one of my package of 10 tans. Even young kids are taught that when you give something You don't just take it back. Do not use this company.
