Someone from Sunrun comes to my house and starts trying to sell me on panels. I asked if I was required to talk to them because of some existing contract because the lady makes it sound like I'm required to talk to her. So then she says "I'm sorry you can't be nice." Hahaha.. ridiculous. So I call sunrun to try to report her and the first person just hangs up on me. The second time I call, I ask to talk to a manager right away and they forward me to a line that has no one on the other end. I would never do business with this company in a million years and strongly suggest that no one else do business with them either. If this is any indicator of the level of service you will get, then I feel sorry for anyone who actually does business with this company. Follow up: to the rep that commented, I have zero confidence that whoever I report the info to won't just release that information to the tattooed sales rep that came to my door. I have her on ring but that would expose my house. Also, I tried to reach out already, twice, and couldn't get through, wasting my time. I'm not wasting any more with a company I won't do business with.. just train your people better and create more accountability as you clearly have institutional problems and likely a culture that fosters this type of behavior. read more

The customer service is terrible. I leased a solar system in 2020. In 2025 I bought a Tesla battery. Months after the battery was installed I had extra solar panels installed with a lease. As of now the city permit has not been signed off. I called SunRun 1/202026 and spoke with Leonardo. I explained to him that after waiting months my permit hasn't been signed off. He put me on hold to investigate. When he returned he told me there was a problems with all 3 of my installations. He also told me that I purchased my extra panels when I purchased the Tesla Battery which isn't true. My solar is supposed to be warrantied for 25 years and the battery 10 years. I received and email to docusign for charges of $561 for technicians to come and investigate whats wrong with my system. Next I'll be notifying the Better Business bureau. read more

I have owned a Sunrun solar system for the last 6 years and at the time I installed it, it saved me money compared to what I was paying Edison. Since that time my Edison bill has increased but I still feel that I am saving money with my system in place. Sunrun contacted me recently and offered to double check my Edison bill to confirm that I am still getting the proper energy credits even though the rates keep rising. After confirming that my system is getting the proper credits, I am now having Sunrun provide me an analysis to add a battery backup. I spoke with Regina Reynante at Sunrun who was very helpful in explaining everything to me and walking me through the process of obtaining a quote. WARNING - Braxton Molina targeted my elderly father, a senior citizen, to sign a contract for solar. When I contacted Braxton to inform him that we were not moving forward and that my father does not speak English, he claimed he was unaware of my father's language barrier or that he didn't understand the legal documents he was being asked to sign. Braxton assured me that we could cancel at any time. I immediately requested cancellation in writing. Despite multiple attempts to reach Braxton via email and phone, he has refused to return my calls. Instead, he continues to harass my father as if nothing happened. I then contacted Sunrun directly, and they assured me they would speak with Braxton and follow up with a cancellation. However, I have yet to receive any confirmation or return call. I am appalled that this is how Sunrun and its employees conduct business. I will never work with Sunrun, and I strongly advise others to avoid them as well. read more

Very unhappy with our SunRun experience so far. Our system was installed this Spring and is rated for 8.91kW. It has never gone over 5kW even now during the summer. I don't have any trees or other obstructions, the panels are all in direct sunlight, and SunRun customer service just gives me the runaround that 'everything looks fine on our end.' They implied my power usage was higher than the previous year and asked if I was using a new appliance or electricle vehicle. I haven't, and that would not affect my solar panels producing less than 60% what is guaranteed. Clearly something is wrong when my panels are only producing 5kW maximum when the sun is directly overhead, when they should be producing 8.91kW. I had to push for a tech to come take a look and their earliest availability was nearly a month out. Then they no-showed, and pushed me back to the end of this month. Today my solar panels stopped working ENTIRELY. 0kW production. I contacted support again, and was again lied to and told that everything looks good on their end. Once I reiterated that I had a solid red warning light on my inverter and I am looking on my Tesla app for real time production of 0, so whatever they are seeing is wrong, their tune changed and they told me to email customercare@sunrun.com some pictures after a hard reset failed to solve the issue. (Note that the SunRun app only checks your system once per day, so they are not even looking at a live/real time system performance. They were looking at yesterday's performance, before it stopped working). So I sent that email with pictures, and immediately received an auto reply that the email is no longer monitored and to contact the chat line for support. I am not getting what I paid for. Edit: next morning, SunRun app now shows 0 production from yesterday about 7am onwards. They can get a sales rep and inspection to sell you a system out the same week, it shouldn't take over a month to get someone out to inspect the installed system. read more

Not even four years into solar and our roof/ceiling/beams are damaged from their incompetent installation job! They have admitted fault and our warranty clearly states their promise to fix it and pay for it all! But over a month later still sitting here with a soggy ceiling and ruined roof! They sent an incompetent or say shady contractor who though he'd get away with a patch job lol um NOPE then we were told we could get our own contractor, I went above and beyond taking time from my job and got three bids and still they blowing smoke! The stress is off the charts and the panels off is costing us money! Our damages are over $30k And more rain coming is more damages since they neglected to get the house tarped after panels removed. I made the mistake of allowing SunRun to sell me on the dream of going solar. On the Dream of having one bill and that was to purchase the power from Sunrun. That was the worst mistake I have made in a longtime. I honestly believed that they would design a system that was going to help me save money. They sell you Dream alright and then you really it's a horrible Dream more of a nightmare. Dealing with the horrible customer service they have and the lack of knowledge there so called experts have. So from beginning to now nearing the completion of my first year with the system they designed as experts. For 11 months I complained and said something is wrong with this system. Me not being an expert realized right away something is wrong. For 11 months SunRun treated me poorly while I still paying them month after month after month. The worst 11 months of doing business with a company I thought would care about the customers that will help spread the word of the good book of business they run. Well that was not the Case 11 months of saying my system is not performing . 11 months it took for them to realize they installed my system wrong and I had three pinched wires this whole entire time. From what the te h told me in his work my inverter was not working properly because of the carelessness of the techs who installed my system. They supposedly check and maintain an eye on the system when they first start it up and how this was missed for 11 months is insane. They made me believe I was wrong dealt with three case managers because the customer service was so bad. They would say we will get back to you with more follow ups. When I would follow up the case manager Dustin would make me feel like I was an inconvenience to him. Dealing with SunRun and its team has been just a nightmare and if I can protect someone from making the same mistake I made. I will be able to live with myself and my horror story of the day I allowed SunRun into my home to sell me the Solar Dream. Nobody is perfect and yes we make mistakes but owning up to them is not the SunRun way. They will pretty much tell you hey it is what it is. I added some photos to show you how it can go from system okay to 11 months later the system was running with three pinched wires that nobody caught and when I asked they had the audacity to say well SCE also should have checked and they said everything was fine. I'm buying power from SunRun to avoid SCE and here they are trying to Blame SCE for the Install SunRun did. Please do your research go to the BBB Better Business Bureau and checked the Reviews and believe the horror stories you see on there. This company really does have that bad customer service. Sunrun is an unethical company that preys upon the elderly. A door to door salesperson visited my 82 and 89 year old parents three times. The third time, the salesperson came with an aggressive male who convinced my parents to sign a 25 year contract for solar panels they did not need. My mom understood that everything would be free and that her electricity bill would go down. Installation was free and her bill did go down, but my mom was blindsided when she started getting a $166 monthly bill that will continue for 25 years. She was paying $80-$100 month prior and the salesperson knew that. My mom would not have agreed to paying double for electricity if she had fully understood what she was signing. When I filed a complaint to sunrun, they said they have a recording of my mom agreeing to the terms of the contract so there is nothing we can do. read more

I attempted to contact Sunrun and informed them that my solar is not working for the reason that I am still getting $400 bill from SCE on top of having 20 solar panels from Sunrun and 2 batteries. Before Solar my electricity bill was only $200 but more on summer of course because of the use of AC. But now instead of me saving from having solar I am paying double. I am paying Sunrun $255/month then I am paying SCE $300-$400 a month. Everytime I contact customer service they will only say "your battery is working according to our record and they will not send anyone to our home to inspect the system. the last time our batteries was charge was June 13 and until now my solar batteries are not working and yet when it comes to billing are they are quick to collect. I am stuck with this company for 24 more years so I don't have a choice to deal with them!!! But I will not recommend to get Sunrun. Whoever is reading this please do not get this company!!! And when we signed up they told us that we will have two back up batteries, come to find out they have given us 2 non back up batteries!! Where do I start? From installation to present they are not a good customer service company. Took literally multiple months for them to get the system started! And when there's an issue with solar equipment it's taking them over 30 days to even come and inspect anything. When the inverter had an error code luckily we noticed it and called. They say they noticed it 2 weeks prior but no call from them. So not sure if they would have fixed it had we not called. Would NOT recommend them! Horrible service. I can not run my ac without being charged by eddison on a sunny summer day, but they refuse to send a technician out to see the equipment unless I pay 190 dollars for it. My power consumption per Edison doubled in 1 year even though there are fewer people living in the home now. They think the wireless signal can actually tell them the voltage at my panel that the meter is seeing and not just what the panels are producing. There is no one with actual technical knowledge of electricity to talk to. I bought this home and inherited this lease, but I would never do it myself or recommend them to anyone else. read more

Hello we are Erron and Lora De La Torre. We are reaching out to you today because we have been a victim of Costco and their affiliate program with Sunrun Solar. Three years ago we decided to get solar panels and batteries through Costco via Sunrun. We thought going through Costcos for this solar project, we would receive the same customer service and quality as in the warehouse stores. In the past we also bought our automobiles through the Costco car buying program and even though you are dealing with a private dealership. The dealership shows you the Costco special pricing list and gives the highest quality customer service. But Sunrun is the opposite... at the Costco warehouse you set up an appointment. Salesperson comes out to explain what is the best option for your home. I trust Costco so I went with Sunrun recommended, now two years later Sunrun comes out to install the solar project. You might be wondering what happened in those two years. Well there were a lot of phone calls to Sunrun and Costco. I went through 4 project managers. Resigned my loan documents three times, because the loan documents expire if the solar project is not installed within a certain time frame. At Costco it's very hard to speak to anyone in the home installation department. After the project was installed, the installers explained to us our system has permission to operate (connect to the grid) from Edison and have us sign documents on the installers iphone. This gives the ok to start financing, but we did not have permission to operate. Our home was not ready for permission to operate until 9 months later. During those 9 months we were making payments on the solar loan, but had no permission to operate from Edison. Sunrun did pay us back that part of the loan, a very small amount. Now we have a $2500 plus and of the year electric bill, when Sunrun told us you will be just paying the loan back that there will be no bill from Edison, you will be getting money back from them. I call Sunrun and Sunrun really doesn't want to be accountable for the high electric bill. Our home is only 1200 square feet and it's only us two that live at our address. No electric cars. So finally I got a hold of Costco in the home installation department. And Costco said everything looks good to them. Now because Sunrun does not want to be accountable for the salesperson,s mistake designing our solar system and misleading us. If you look at the attachments you can see month to month of our electric bill. The first month was over $800. To me it looks like the 2 Tesla batteries are costing us more money to charge them than what our house is using. With the cost of solar system loan and the year end electric bill. Now we are paying about 2.5 times for electricity. We are willing to help any news network to help other consumers to not go through Costco in home installation or Sunrun especially when Costco can't do anything if you're ripped off by their home installation partners. Technically you are buying the solar equipment from Costco, but you are not. Costco does not have anything to do with in-home installation partners. It seems that in-home installation partners are paying Costco to sell their equipment and services. If this is the case, Costco should be transparent with this information. Any more information any news media needs, we are willing to give. We thank you for your time in reading this, we just really do not want any other home owners to be taken advantage of by Costco and Sunrun and their predatory practices. Costco will return a vacuum 3 years after purchase, but they will ignore their members when it comes to standing between them and a paycheck from an affiliate. I called this company because they are at Costco. I have always trusted Costco with everything, but after this I would never use Costco for their Solar recommendations or HVAC. Both are terrible and misleading. Sunrun came out to me for the consultation, but was ONLY interested in selling their "Service", which everyone else would call a lease. Even after I advised I am not interested in a lease, he did not stop. I asked for their estimate to purchase the equipment, and their cost was 70%+ higher than 3 other companies I have proposals from. I assume they over price the purchase only to sell their Service. Also, they are quoting inferior equipment and warranties to anyone else I spoke with. Sunrun is a big NOPE for me. On another note, they come door to door in my neighborhood and ask to see our meter and asked if it has been upgraded to digital. They don't even introduce themselves as Sunrun employees. In 2019, a Sunrun sales rep came to our house and sold us a 20 panel system and battery. The total cost was $32,947. Our monthly electric bill averaged $235 for our 1575 sq ft home. The sales rep assured us that we would have little to no electrical expense with solar. Our monthly payment for our Sunrun equipment was $172 for the first 16 months and $246 following. For 2020 thru 2023 we received an end of the year bill from Edison for about $1000. At the end of 2024, that annual electric bill was $2937 - more than our electric bill before solar. In 2022, a Sunrun sales rep at Costco told us that we should not be receiving a large bill from Edison if we have properly placed panels and a battery. In April 2024, Sunrun informed us that our battery was not working and needed to be fixed/replaced. We believe that our battery NEVER worked properly. Sunrun did not get the battery working until August 23, 2024. In Jan 2025, after receiving the $2937 electric bill, we called Sunrun. We were told that a case manager would call us back. They didn't. On Feb 4, we called again. The first rep said that our system is not working properly. He said fixing it would be at OUR EXPENCE. Then he transferred me to another rep who claimed our system was working, but half the panels are shaded by our tree and one panel received almost no sun. We had the tree when the panels were installed and have even had it trimmed. The rep stated that there was no better option given the shape of our roof. The sales rep that sold us the system did not disclose this information. He promised that the panels would generate plenty of electricity, and with a battery we would not have to worry about additional electric bills. We feel deceived and cheated by Sunrun. We signed the contracts in November to have a system installed on our home. The initial contact was good the sales team was friendly and helpful. Intallation took 4 months to complete. Pannels were up new electrical Panel on the house was installed we had a problem with our swimming pool pump stopped working. i called Bright star that was doing the installation they were there the next day and fixed the pump. City inspector came and a few changes needed to be completed we got final approval. My swimming pool pump stopped working again I called Bright star and they said i needed to call Sun Run to get a authorization number for them to go back out and check the wiring. I called SunRun and for the life of me could not understand the Philippine Customer service rep Nikia that answered the phone. I explained the issue and problem she did not understand i asked for a AMERICAN csr to speak with she told me that was not possible. I asked for a supervisor i got John he was just a bad and did not understand my problem. I told him that i had a pool company come out to check on the pool replace may pool pump and they told me that the wiring from the new panel to the pump was not connected correctly when they turned off the breaker there was still power to the pool. and not enough voltage was getting to the pump. John told me that before bright star came out i needed a complete report from the pool company sent to them so they could review it and see if they could authorize the repair. meanwhile my pool is getting greener by the day I paid this pool company to replace my pool motor with a new one. 2 weeks of back and forth speaking to Philippine people i gave up and hired a electrician paid out of pocket to have the repair done. A repair created by Sunrun and Bright star. I called many times and one time i got a person from as they called it the mainland (America) and what did he do transferred me to the Phillpines again. Every customer service person is a liar at this company. I had my electrical panel upgraded as part of the install and a hole was put in my drywall during the process. I have been trying to get this fixed for 6 MONTHS. Every time I've asked about it I'm told I will be contacted in 24 to 48 hours and it has never happened once. This has happened at least 20 times. Every person ends up ghosting me and stopping answering my emails and phone calls. Every team I talk to says I need to talk to another team or submit a damage claim but every step hasn't gotten me anywhere closer to having my damage fixed. Run away from this company. EDIT: The customer service supervisor named Kevin Contreras is a liar. He gave me his word, he promised me TWICE that he would call me the next day and both times never did. Back in August they finally got everything online. Someone was supposed to come out to set everything up and show me how to run it. Well no one came out I tried to figure it out but I can't even get the battery to pair with the phone. I called Sunrun to ask them when someone was going to show me how to run the system. Really I'm supposed to do all the work? I called the salesman who sold this crap to me and he was able to figure it out fairly quick. Here's were it gets really freaking stupid. When they set my system up the set it up so my power went to Edison. So Edison was getting my power for free and then I get to buy it back from them at their freaking high ass price and i also have to pay Sunrun for the convenience of getting screwed!. Update talked to a second customer service rep. She also said they couldn't do anything until I call Tesla and get an access number. After arguing with this person for awhile all I got was I had to call Tesla and get an access number. So I call Tesla and I tell them sunrun said I had to call you to get an access number. He literally ask for what and no you don't need one you're already registered. Tesla was able to show me how to read the app and explain how the system had been dumping my battery to the grid and that my system couldn't even handle my usage. 80% of my electricity is coming from Edison. Now I call customer service armed with even more knowledge of how they have screwed this up and all I get is hold a moment, your using to much power. I kept asking for someone to come out and look at system and find out what's going on. (This is all there equipment) all they say is I'm using too much power. These guys have no idea how to read. I have two "NO SOLICITING" signs, one on my door and one under my Ring doorbell. They STILL solicit constantly. I would never use this company based on their reviews and the fact that they just don't care about bothering people. You have no idea what the person inside the house is doing, or if they are even capable of answering the door. They could have children sleeping, disabled persons, or could just be working from home. To bother them by ringing their doorbell even though they have NO SOLICITING signs is completely ridiculous and you need to train your workers better. I'm stuck. My solar system isn't working and Sunrun has been slow to repair my solar system. I'm already out about $400 worth of lost production with no clear end in sight. I informed them on August 3rd of a problem, but they couldn't make it out until August 14th to check on it. The technician said the inverter would have to be replaced. The good news is that it's under warranty (only 6 years old). I was expecting a follow up call to setup a return appointment to install a new inverter. Crickets, so I called them after a week. The say the inverter is on order, but they can't give me a tracking number or even an estimate on when it will arrive. They reassured me that it will come soon. Ok, great, so let's set an appointment now so that when the equipment arrives we will be set for a timely install. Nope, they won't do it. They don't know when it will arrive. So, it will be here soon, but they won't commit to an appointment a week from now? Not two weeks from now? What does soon mean to them? It makes no sense. Do they not anticipate future needs and have some in stock? Don't they install these every day? Can't they get a pretty good estimate of need and order in advance based on past experience? It's like this company is a small shop operating out of a garage with insufficient capital to maintain inventory. They act like this is normal. How do they get thru life? Do they wait until they are out of toilet paper before they order more? And when they do seek more toilet paper, are they fine with it taking weeks to be delivered? It's an inverter (less than $2k). Again, they must install hundreds of these; they can't keep some in stock? Even if they do have to order it, should it take weeks? Try this. Go to google, search Solis Inverter. You'll see that you can buy one and have it delivered within a week, but Sunrun can't? Anyway, just giving everyone a heads up. And Costco, if you're monitoring, it's pretty disappointing that the system was purchased in partnership with you. These folks don't share your efficiency. Who knows, maybe they'll call me today and let me know that they have it and will install it this week. If they do, I'll be sure to update this review and apologize. But again, as of yesterday, no ETA on delivery and they are not even willing to set an appointment a week or two out. I wonder how many thousands of dollars of lost production I will be losing waiting for Sunrun to get it done. read more

I have two installations for sunrise one in Nevada and one in California. I started with the Nevada site and everything went perfectly, down to the last schedule and appointment. So having that confidence I started with the California installation in September 2021. It took them two or three months to get the permits, and construction started early December. Since my roof was tiled so part of it was removed and a composite tile was attached to the roof. The idea is to replace tiles after the solar panel anchors are set in. The construction crew started doing construction on December 10th. I keep asking the construction crew that if it's going to be okay we're going to encounter rainy season, and they keep reassuring me that they do this every day and it should be done very quickly. Well the construction crew disassembled my tiles and the installation crew never came about. So my roof currently is left in shambles with tiles piling all over the place creating a dangerous living condition for my child and my dog to play in the backyard. I have kept calling in regards to this situation about my roof being left as an open construction site for the past 40 some days. It currently still stands as a construction site. And nobody dares to return any phone call. I have left countless messages with customer service to my suppose project manager and no call has been returned or nor have I been contacted in person. As of today I am just about to contact Costco for explanation. My roof has been an open construction site through the California rain and the wind for the past 40 days. I have taken multiple pictures and if there any problems with my roof in terms of mold or any kind of damage due to it being an open construction site I will be taking legal measures. Meanwhile I will be calling Costco and explain to them the situation at hand. I was wondering if there's any legal counsel that would like to take up this case that I will be filing against Sunrun for their incompletion, incompetency, and endangerment of my family and residence. BUYER BEWARE. The solar panels they use are poor quality. Look at the picts to see how bad my roof looks in the afternoon. I contacted them and over the phone they said my panels must be dirty. They are not, but I cleaned them anyway to prove a point. Then they said "too bad" and can't do anything about how the panels look. I contacted the panel manufacturer and they said it is a design problem with the internal busbars reflecting light. DO NOT USE SUNRUN. Find a company with better quality solar panels. read more

Sunrun sucks.... In Aug 2019, i have had installed Sunrun solar system thru Costco. In Apr 2020, the Sunrun inverter was totally out, and Sunrun took 4 months to replace the broken inverter without any solar production during the waiting days. In July 2021, the Sunrun inverter was out of order again. After my immediate request, until now after being waiting for more than 1 month, no one from Sunrun has ever call me to set up an appointment to repair or replace the broken Sunrun inverter ever.... SunRun purchased our original solar company (Vivint). We had always experienced excellent customer service with Vivint with quick resolution of problems, but SunRun's customer service is abysmal. We needed to get the panels removed for roofing repair and contacted them to initiate removal. Our contract stated 30 day notice for removal, but we are well past that and I have received zero communication from them. Multiple contacts with their customer care service or direct calls to office staff have resulted in nothing. Avoid working them at all costs and if your solar company gets bought out, prepare for an end to customer service. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST! we have been dealing with this Company for over 5 years now and IT STILL IS NOT TURNED ON!!! I wish I would have NEVER done it! (please excuse the types because I'm pretty frustrated) Over 5 years and still not working and we have damaged to our house / driveway and took forever for them to do a super cheap crapy fix... The guys at the Home Depot parking lot could do a better job! (holes in our living room ceiling, damaged driveway from when they had to put a pipe under it... LOOKS Horrible!) They told me that I can load up my Detached garage and it would give us all the power we needed.... and if I ever needed to do anything to the garage roof, they would come out and take the plans off and back on with NO FEE! but it took over 3 years to get them turned on due to THEM and city inspections. they find out that I needed more then DOUBLE THAT! Keep in mind that NO MANAGEMENT HAS EVER CONTACTED ME, I lady named Emma did, she was great at first, then i get ghosted... no response and communication.. So back to square 1 with adding more panels, but this time they tell me I need to replace the Roof on the house... okay, we needed to do this anyways... BUT THEY DIDNT DO THE GARAGE!!!!! even though they QUOTED ME THAT IT WAS IN THE PRICE!!! I ask them to come back and finish and they told me the rep misinformed me and that was incorrect... surprise, ANOTHER LIE! WHO THE HECK GETS A ROOF QUOTE AND THE GARAGE IS LEFT OUT?!?!?! its not a "Shed" or "Barn" ITS PART OF MY HOUSE. Total Crap! My service has gone down multiple times over the last couple of years, now they are unresponsive. My system has been down for 7 weeks. I've been emailing and calling and even contacted Mary Powell CBO. They are still taking my monthly payment yet my system's been down and they're completely unresponsive. I've been completely neglected and left in the dark and I've been begging for help. There is no way to get to talk to anybody. And when you call the field service phone number their voicemail has all kinds of customer service promises and kudos to themselves. read more

My elderly parents signed a solar lease agreement with Sunrun in 2017 to install leased solar panels on top of their 28-year-old roof which had (and still has) original underlayment. Sunrun should have done an inspection on the roof before installing those panels, but my parents did not receive a copy of the inspection report and so far Sunrun has not been able to provide me a copy of the inspection report. My parents should not have agreed to have panels installed over a roof which had 28-year-old underlayment without first changing out the underlayment, but my parents were in their 80s and I believe Sunrun took advantage of an elderly couple who did not do their due diligence when they installed solar panels on a roof that was not going to make it for the 20-year duration of a lease contract! When I took over financial responsibility of my parents' home in 2021, I had little choice but to take over the lease contract with Sunrun. Now, (in 2024) the underlayment is 35-years old and in need of replacement. My roofer cannot do the underlayment replacement until Sunrun first removes those solar panels. The lease contract is clear that only Sunrun is allowed to touch those panels. Sunrun wants $4,830 to remove, temporarily store, and replace (R&R) the panels after the roofer finishes the underlayment work. I'm balking at paying this R&R fee because I believe Sunrun knew better than to install solar panels on top of a 28-year-old roof and then having my 80-year-old mother sign a 20-year lease for those panels. After two weeks of going back and forth with an escalation expert, the best I've been able to do is to get a $300 discount from Sunrun for the R&R fee. My advice: 1) do NOT allow Sunrun (or anyone else, for that matter) to install solar on your roof until you are assured the roof will not require foreseeable maintenance for the next 20-years (i.e. the minimum amount of time you plan to keep the panels up there). 2) Make sure you get a copy of the roof inspection report before allowing solar panels to be installed on your roof. read more
