They had immediate availability for a full body scrub ($80 for an hour) and a full body massage ($50). I asked Lisa if she needed a break between my scrub and massage but she pressed on and really impressed me with how thorough and strong she was. I'm very weak and generally can't handle Thai massages, but what Lisa did was perfect - it wasn't quite a Thai massage, but it had elements of it. By the time she finished, I felt like a new person. The scrub was also very thorough and incorporated a lot of massaging as well (with a very nice face/neck massage at the end). I've never gotten a scrub before so I was not expecting for her to also exfoliate my chest area, but she did so very professionally. It is also incredibly clean and a popular salon in the area. As far as a regular manicure, I ended up with beautifully manicured nails. Color selection was great with both OPI and Essie colors available. My biggest surprise came at the time of checking out. While the experience was nice, $15.00 for a regular manicure is a bit steep. That is my only gripe, but definitely worth the spend if it is a place you like and trust.

Ok back to this review, here's the biggest issue I had with the place and why you see 3stars. They do not inform you either written or verbally that they charge a mandatory tip on top of the service. So while I was happy to tip at the end usually this is based on the service and up to the discretion of the customer. Again, if it had been written or conveyed to us in some format, that would have been ok and we could have decided what to do; however, at the end of the massage, I handed the lady a large bill to cover two foot massages for 60 min and she gave me change back. Then informed me of the mandatory tip value, I was surprised. More important, what if you bring a certain amount of money that can't cover the surprise mandatory tip at the end? People want to tip a good service, but when you surprise customers and demand it, that's when things can get awkward. I really wanted this to be the place I come weekly and recommend to others, not sure if I can now. Many things to think of regarding this surprise. Ambience - somewhat chaotic if I'm being truthful, many people coming in and out, so dont expect a quiet massage. Many people talking on the phone, customers waiting (watching videos on their phone with the audio on). Clean- better than I expected, bring your own towels if you want and maybe some wipes, because again it is covid season still. Therapists - they are really kind overall, do hard work, but again the tip thing above. This was unclear to us and some others if it was a random thing only told to a few people or if everyone was told about this. No conclusion could be made, you decide. Price - reasonable/average for places in that area. Sadly, this is a legit massage place vs the other odd massage parlours, so that definitely makes it hard to find similar places to try out. After some thought, I decided to give it a whirl and booked a manicure and pedicure through their website. The booking process was very straightforward and all, pricing included the tax upfront, which I really appreciated. When I arrived, the first thing I noticed was how bright, clean, and modern the space felt. The pedicure setup, however, is not like a typical salon. Instead of massage chairs, there's a platform with a sink and a stationary client chair. The layout requires the technicians to sit a bit contorted while working, which seemed uncomfortable for them. My pedicure tech, was very thorough and did a nice job overall. One small oddity: before I even picked a nail color, I was directed to sit on the pedicure chair. Once seated, they handed me a book of nail colors. While this felt like a nice touch at first, in hindsight I prefer standing in front of the polish wall where I can see the bottles directly, I can hold them up to the light yo see how sheer or thick they are, whether they have shimmer, and how much polish is left in the bottle. After my pedicure, I had to carefully step down from the platform with slippery lotion feet in flip-flops. This feels like it could be hazardous especially since there's no handrail. I was then directed to the manicure area, where large stationary chairs are wedged tightly together with the chairs from either side of each station. My tech had to pull out the chair and awkwardly push me and the chair into place at the table. The manicure itself was as thorough as the pedicure, and I was very pleased with the result. When it came time to dry my nails, I discovered there are no drying stations. I instinctively stood up to move, but my tech looked at me oddly. She directed me to sit down and she brought a small fan over and I sat there to dry for a few minutes before paying and leaving. Final verdict: The overall results were good and my nails grew in really nicely, and I left happy with both the manicure and pedicure. While the setup is a little unconventional and has a few quirks I was overall pleased with my services.
