I Just had a 90-minute massage at Broad & Wall Wellness! The therapist started with a wonderful ashiatsu (back-stepping) massage, using her body weight to deeply work out the knots in my back. It was the perfect balance of firm pressure and adjusting my back.  She then moved on to using a Gua Sha jade hammer to scrape my back, which really increased the blood flow and released a lot of tension. I guess her hands got tired, as she kept saying my back strong - yeah super tight, all my therapists say so (both men and women).  The massage also incorporated elements of tui na and Thai yoga stretching, which was perfect for targeting my chronically tight shoulders. The therapist commented that I must have a strong constitution, as she was able to apply a lot of deep pressure without me flinching or groaning. I remember going to Suchada in SF and the guy next to me was in agony, um you can always ask for lighter pressure (groaning in agony bothers other patrons - be considerate ask for Swedish) For me, I think the only place I had to ask for lighter was in Bali, the 4ft skinny lady was super strong back when, and i went everyday as it was $4 eventually got used to the pressure.. Anyway, as someone who gets regular deep tissue, thai, tui na, ashiatsu, and sports massages, I really appreciated the therapist who was trying her best to get the knots out with every tool in her arsenal. Didnt get her name though so cant share here.  Overall, this was one of the best massages I've had in NY. The combination of techniques left me feeling relaxed yet energized. My back and shoulders feel so much better. I'll definitely be returning to Broad  & Wall Wellness in the future. read more

The first time I went here ( Dec 2023) it was amazing in every way possible. I popped in several weeks ago and the woman who opened the door was openly cold and unfriendly. Quite a shame as I am currently looking for a spa to call home twice a month. At the minimum a spa should be warm and friendly. Oh well, the search continues. read more

The massage was good however I paid for an hour with hot stone. I got 35 minutes no hot stones and they told me they were busy. When I left they asked me for a tip after paying for a 60 minute massage and getting a bit more than 30 minutes. The 30 I got was a good massage no hot stones I do not think I will go back. Pros: -The atmosphere is nice, clean, and calming with good music -They didn't skimp on time, you get what you book Con: -The quality for the price The issue isn't that the services are expensive, it's that the services are expensive for the quality of what you receive. Tipping is a mandatory $10/30mins, and groupon prices are actually just their normal prices inflated on groupon. So for a $100 hour massage, I would've hoped to have a product better than men's vaseline as the massage lotion. I would have expected a little more discussion on problem areas. The table itself has the headrest built in with no ability to make adjustments which became very uncomfortable. My massage therapist at one point was practically sitting on my head in order to massage my back and was VERY much on top of me when I flipped over. Not sure about all that, some people don't mind. Again, it wasn't a bad massage. I've walked away from much worse places. But for the price, I've also walked away from other places feeling much better. They may need to just re evaluate their pricing structure, or maybe I really am just not the clientele they're looking for. read more

This place is great. I had been looking for a good place in this area. It is clean, has a nice atmosphere & the people here are very friendly. I had Kelly, she was really good. I asked for a hard massage and got one. She really went in for the kill when she felt the knots I had in my shoulders and back. She got in with her elbows, It was painful at times but in the end I really felt the difference and felt much better than when I went in. She finished off with hot stones on the parts of my shoulders/back that had the knots and it was very soothing. The prices are fair for what they offer. I have been to other spa's around/more of the same price range and didn't really get good service. The service and quality here is great, better than most. read more

Masseuse did not follow instructions when asked to focus on back and instead did whatever she wanted. A very therapeutic and serene environment. Kelly provided a thorough and exceptional massage that released all the pressure from my body and truly put me at ease. I am updating my previous 5 star review of masseur Amy. I have also now had several massages with Kelly and I have to say I have never had such productive massages. It's not always comfortable as Kelly is super strong, but I have never felt better than after the massage! Kelly finds all impingements, trigger points, muscle knots and tightness that you have, even if you didn't know you had them, and fixes it with her amazing technique (often involving an elbow). She is extremely effective and I can't recommend highly enough! read more
