I was in full anticipation when I heard that Brunchaholics was coming to the area. I was super excited since I love a good brunch spot and heard a lot of good things about it. I came on two occasions, once closer to their original opening and the second more recently. On both occasions it was hard to get a reservation and there was a bit of wait to get a table. It is not a huge space by any means, therefore they are limited on seating options. I did see they had a lot of takeout orders but, glad I had the dine in experiences. On both occasions I ordered the chicken & waffles, I have a preference to the chicken that they served on my original dining as the wings were not jumbo and fatty but nicely crisped, flavorful, and more lean. On a weekend patronage we did purchase alcoholic beverages which was a separately purchase through a mobile bar that was set up on the side in the restaurant. But I originally thought they were byob, they are not. Overall, a good experience, Looking forward to giving them another try soon.

Food - 5 stars Service - 3 stars Ambiance - 4 stars Both my husband and I ordered the SGG and it was so good we only ate half so we could enjoy it again for breakfast tomorrow morning!!! I savored every bit and can't wait to eat it again in the morning lol! There were multiple menu items I wanted to try! The service was sub par. The first thing we asked for was waters... never got those. The restaurant is pretty small, maybe 20-30 seats total and our server was only responsible for 4-6 people, if that, but it was still pretty slow. The kitchen looked like the hangout spot for the hostesses/servers as multiple people came in while we were eating and looked confused as they weren't greeted for a good while after coming in. One of the patrons even asked me, another customer, if it was a seat yourself type of place. I can understand if service is slow if you're packed and running around, but from what I saw, the slow service was due to lack of attentiveness and nonchalantness. Even though the service wasn't great, I'd come back just for the food!! It was that good. So delicious, flavorful, and savory!!!

As much as everyone hyped this place, I expected to be blown away. It was alright, nothing knocked it out of the park. Maybe I got the wrong items? ‍ Short rib hash Great flavors. The short rib was more tough then tender. Potatoes were fried well, the grease tasted a bit old though. Eggs were cooked like I requested as over medium. Sweet potato pancakes Great presentation even with the marshmallow a tad over charred. I liked the glaze on top. The pancakes themselves were over whipped making them chewy instead of light and fluffy. Or maybe it's missing the butter milk? Either way, they were just okay pancakes. Location All of the staff are welcoming and very nice. Great service. 7 tables in total for this place, be patient if you come and they are busy. Good music to rock to while you are dining and a cute space.

In the mood for brunch. Remembered seeing a TicTok for this place.Called & asked if reservations were needed. Advised no & a 1 hour wait. Arrived to a wait to be seated sign. Another person was already waiting to be seated. There were 2-3 open tables. Eventually someone came over to tell us 30-45 minute wait. Ask to put our name on a list to be called when tables available. Never received a call. We left to get coffee in the same shopping plaza. Drove around then came back. Advised we would be seated once the 2 people at the shared table leave. They left and we seated ourselves. Eventually the same girl who told us 30-40 minute wait, cleaned the table & gave menu. Ordered fish & grits and breakfast platter with 2 waters with lemon. The fish was good hot & nicely seasoned. The grits were cold/lukewarm. The breakfast platter came with eggs, potatoes with onions, meat & French toast. French toast was delicious & what they are known for. The pork sausage was unrecognizable & did not taste good per my brunch date. Sent pork sausage back & advised we didn't like. She brung more port sausage which was sent back. Given the wrong bill which was more. Make waitress aware & given correct bill for $50.00. The table in front of us sent food back along with the pork sausage they ordered. Service was Nothing extra. We got our food & water refilled. The place has about 6 tables. It is small. Punter space is available but no one is allowed at the counter seating. Don't believe the TicTok hype. Will probably not return as there are so many brunch options in Philly.

Very small spot, so it may be best to call or come early as seating is not guaranteed and I wouldn't recommend for a large group, although I wonder if they do catering. The staff were nice, and the food was delicious I have no complaints at all... I will say that the restaurant was out of a few items that I was interesting in trying so that may be another thing to consider is that they run out of their more popular dishes towards closing. I look forward to returning for another success brunch in the near future. Sidebar- I just learned they also have a Jersey location too so that place may be bigger in terms of size (not sure)

We got here for brunch and waited 5 mins before we were greeted. After being welcomed we were informed that only a shared table was available as the open tables were being saved for customers who made reservations. We decided to wait hoping that we could get a table when customers missed their reservation. Fortunately we were seated at one of these reserved tables. It took another 15 mins for the waitress to come take our order. This would not have been a big deal if the restaurant was crowded however it was only 4 tables of customers and two were finishing their meals. Brunchaholics was one of my favorite restaurants for brunch and this customer service experience has been completely disappointing. The music was good and it's a pretty small & quiet place to dine. Thankfully the food was good as usual however it's unlikely I'll return as customer service matters!!! Ironically by the end of our meal we were the only ones in the restaurant as none of the customers who reserved tables showed up yet our waitress was still inattentive.

This place was literally hell. Let me elaborate: 1) This is a very small establishment. They probably had 8 tables max. Felt like a cramped donut shop. There was no AC in this establishment and it was 85 degrees out. No windows nor was the door propped open. It felt like we were eating in hell. 2) Service was just subpar and very lacking. Our waitress acted like she didn't want to be there and wasn't very friendly. She seemed lazy and like it was a chore to grab us the basic necessities such as silverwares, napkins or even just extra lemon for our water. We probably couldn't blame her since she was working in hell!!! 3) After suffering in the heat, we were still very hopeful for the food and our drinks. Our mimosa tower never arrived. We only had ice water. The food you asked? I could've made better waffles and toast at home! They were so dry. It was like eating a brick wall. The wings were just as bad. Dry and salty. Shrimp in the grits? Dry and salty. Lamb patty? Dry. You know what other place is dry? Probably hell!! 4) Their menus also doesn't match their instagram. There were no pancakes. Peach cobblers on the menu, but they didn't have any. Also, no drink menus but random tables had drinks and that's why we decided to order the mimosa towers that we never got. This place is an example of not to listen to the hype on social media. The pictures looked great but this place was terrible in every way imaginable! You've been warned.

I've been here a couple of times and they've never disappointed me. Not only is the food pretty good, they give you a hefty serving. My severs have always been professional and kind. Only because I am super greedy have I finished my meals, but every time I'd gone, my companion had to get to go bags lol i want to try the one in cherry hill to see the difference in ambience, although there's nothing wrong with the ambience at this location. I just like to have different experiences.

Came here based off reviews. It would have gotten 5 stars if it weren't the following: 1. No air conditioning on a hot humid day 2. The wait for food. It took almost 45 minutes for food to come out. During this time no one addressed us. We got our drinks and that was it. 3. My husband had the Seafood Gumbo and Grits. There was no lump crab meat on it. 4. He also ordered turkey bacon which he never received even though the waitress said she was coming back with it. 5. Had to ask for pancake syrup for the French toast cobbler which was only given a small container for two very large pieces. 6. Not once were we asked how the food was. 7. In observing other tables they were waiting just as long and plates were coming out individually and not as a group. 8. Bathroom out of order. I will say the turkey bacon was removed from the check and a discount given for no lump crab. The food was delicious but other issues just failed.

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Our waitress was the best. The scrambled eggs were very good. The hashbrowns were a little hard I didn't really eat them. The seafood gumbo grits was very delicious. The gravy in the seafood gumbo was so tasty and the fried catfish was tasty. The bananas foster French toast was also very delicious. They also make homemade lemonade that was really sweet. This Location is in Philadelphia and is very small. There's only six tables inside this location. I just heard they built a new location in Cherryhill. NJ. I'm not sure if it's big or small like this one.

    Chicken and waffles
    Rosa Z.

I ordered the chicken and waffles for delivery, To be honest, I was not a big fan of it. The waffles already come with the butter spread on the waffles, two containers of smucker's syrup (which is a low quality syrup) and the chicken (wings and drumsticks) are on top of the waffles. The chicken was a bit on the dry side and as I was eating the food, after eating one of the waffles, I felt very bloated and heavy. Since the meal was around $20, I feel like the quality and taste was disappointing and low. I would not order food from here again.

    Fried fish and cheese grits

I went with my friend in a Friday afternoon. The waiter was friendly and the atmosphere was tranquil. The restaurant was clean and organized. The fried fish that I ordered was the crispiest fish I think I've ever eaten and the grits were cheesy and delicious. I can't wait to come back!

An intimate (Black owned) dine-in breakfast spot with plenty of parking. We arrived shortly after they opened (about 9:20am) and were greeted warmly upon entry. Inside was clean and cool with lots of natural light. The food was prepared quickly and so delicious. My breakfast burrito was well packed on the inside and crispy on the outside. My husband's French toast was delicious. We'll definitely be back!
