Soon as I pulled up I knew this place would serve it up! Worth the three hour drive. Prepare to order through a small window bring cash and an appetite. Everything they make is chefs kiss! Their fish is fried to perfection and don't get me started on that Mac and cheese man was it good! No inside dining just take out so be ready to order and go. read more

So let me start with the highlight: the fried fish with macaroni and cheese and yams was *delicious.* Like, seriously flavorful, well-seasoned, and made with love. The mac was creamy and cheesy, the yams were sweet and tender, and that fried fish? Perfectly crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside--exactly what I was craving. That said, the overall experience had some bumps. The wait time was pretty long, even though it wasn't super packed, and the staff didn't feel very friendly or welcoming. Not rude, just kind of... there. Service was okay, but definitely could've been warmer or more attentive. The location is pick up only, it's a nice space outside to wait but just prepare to wait and for the weather. Still, the food was strong enough to make me want to come back. If you're going for the flavors and comfort food, you won't be disappointed. Just don't expect top-tier service. I'd give it another shot--maybe on a less busy day! read more

Yesterday was my first time trying Keboom's at Roots Picnic. Besides the performances, visiting her food truck was the highlight of the festival. Food was really flavorful. We tried the buffalo chicken eggrolls and the burger sliders. The food is fire and the service was super quick. Only complaint was the food was barely room temperature and got cold before we could finish. Berry lemonade reminded me Kool aid but it was good and wasn't too sweet. I will definitely return to try more menu items. Nothing is better than being super happy and grateful you visited a successful small business :) thank you! read more

I was feeling like some good fried fish for this Friday & decided Keeboom's kitchen would be the best choice. It was a great decision. I was hungry so I ate a piece of the perfectly seasoned fried fish& some of the creamiest, most flavorful Mac & cheese that you have ever sunk your teeth into before I remembered to take a photo of the serving I received. I wanted to show you what you would be in for if you tried this establishment as it was the Bomb! The serving is plentiful as I will eat off this plate for at least 3 - 4 meals in total. The service was awesome I called in & was told they would text me when the order was ready in approximately 15 minutes. It was within that 15 minute timeframe that I received a call from a very nice man telling me my order was ready to be picked up. The window is outside as there is no indoor service but it is well worth it to get the best dinner plates in the area. I mean you can feed at least 3 other people from this heavy soul food offering. Try it, you will be doing a disservice to yourself if you don't stop by. Trust me it is Dynamite! read more

Keeboom’s Kitchen - Fried Fish & Double Mac & Cheese less 1 pc of fish & several forkfuls of Mac and Cheese - Soul Food Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

My first time trying this spot, I placed an order thru DoorDash and the pics did not disappoint. The food arrived hot, plated neatly. I ordered 2 fried fish platters with Mac and cheese and fresh sautéed spinach. The amount of food was perfect. I'm sure I had about 4-5 pieces of fish. The Mac was creamy and cheesy, and the spinach was fresh! I enjoyed the entire meal and also had enough for lunch the next day. The only con is you will have to wait awhile. That was fine with me as I was home working. An really if you want good food you can't rush the process. You can tell it was made with love I would definitely order again to try other options. read more

I'm so happy I was too lazy to cook after a busy work day and let my fellow yelpers guide me to Keeboom's!! I ordered the the Beef Boom Combo. Delivery guy couldn't locate my address so I got it a bit cold. No worries I cranked up the oven and let the goods get warm. What a huge plate of goodness! The shrimp were perfectly fried. Could've used some seasoning but the sauces made up for that. The chicken cheese roll was So good! The little sliders were packed with flavor. Can I order them. Ext time with some veggies? The wings were really good as well. This plate of food for the cost is a win win! The fries were ok but those Sauces were what made Everything go Boom' I'll be ordering from here regularly! read more

I'm very disappointed in the size of the salmon. It seems like it's getting smaller by the week. The sides are cool but the protein is supposed to be the star of the meal. I purchased the same platter last week and the salmon portion was doubled in size. I won't be going back. It's a waste of $$$. read more

This is the second time we ordered from Keeboom but the first time I was able to write a review. We ordered the meal on Uber Eats because the menu was different on GrubHub (there were greens on Uber Eats and not on GrubHub). I'd encourage looking at both when ordering delivery. It seems as though they have specials on their platters on Sunday. My husband ordered the whole fried wing platter with mac and cheese and greens as his sides and a side of seasoned rice. I ordered a fried whiting platter with greens and mac with a side of yams. The wings and fish were fried nicely. They were pretty good. The mac and cheese was very cheesy but actually lacked flavor. The greens were salty but pretty good. The rice was okay. But lissssten, the yams were the best thing we ordered. Not too sugary or syrup. I would certain order those again. Overall, we thought Keeboom was okay/pretty good. read more

We waited over 2 1/2 hours for our food! I got turkey wings with so much rice and broccoli. I want it gravy, but there was no option to add it. It was good, but not worth the long wait! My daughter said she enjoyed her meal! There's no reason anyone should wait this long for their food, so I can't patronize them again! read more

The online order service pickup is TERRIBLE!! The girl at the window poor customer service. Received a text at 8:10 saying food was ready, got there at 8:15 and waited well over 40 minutes for my order. Crabs were good. the rice bowl wasn't the best but the shrimp Alfredo made up for it. The service was slow. Will try earlier next time

This was my 1st time ordering from Kee Booms Kitchen. I placed a order through Doordash for Beef Burger Combo. The platter comes with 2 small boom burgers, 4 pieces of shrimp, 4 honey garlic wing dings, buffalo chicken roll, and fries. The Burgers were decent, though I expected better. I did have some Sweet Chili sauce & Boom sauce which tasted good on the Fries, buffalo chicken Roll, and fried shrimp. However the honey garlic wings were awful. The wings were fried too hard & no flavor, no season, just coated in Honey Garlic sauce. 25.00 is a bit pricey for this platter, and I didn't get my money worth.. My experience wasn't bad but far from great. read more

After a long trip to Philly I didn't feel like cooking, found this little gem on Uber Eats and decided to give them a try. The portions were ample; the stuffed Salmon was amazing, and so was the broccoli. The Mac and Cheese was pretty good, a little different than I am used to but not in a bad way, I still enjoyed it. It's a little pricey but the quality of food was made it worth it. I also had the Berry juice (the blue one) which was delicious. I'll definitely be eating here again! read more

Food is flavored well!!! Nice serving size! I had the whiting, sweet yams and rice. I wish they were in Brooklyn!!

Everytime I come here it's something . Her food good don't get me wrong it's the staff . The wanna make smart remarks for no reason. Save that for when the customer leave the window or not present . It's highly disrespectful. Now I call on the phone not once but twice , the person over the phone stated that your order can not be placed untill paid I drove literally an hr even told her I give her a tip just to make it offer 20 more and my food was already 38 (40$) . It's not acceptable at all read more

Me and my bf order from here for the first time and here is our honest review Me: I order the lamb platter with Mac and mashed potatoes. Came with a bed of rice. The Mac and cheese tasted great, just like any other Mac and cheese. The mashed potatoes was good but started become overwhelming. It was extremely too much garlic. Due to it being strong I didn't finish it. The lamb was okay, soft to chew but wished it was more juicer or had more sauce on it. The rice was good but plain. Bf: I order the beef boom burger sliders platter with Mac and fries along with cornbread. I thought it was a burger not sliders, that's my fault for misreading the order but would prefer a burger than sliders. The sliders it self was flavorful but not good. The meat was really soft, you could just pretty much swallow the whole thing or eat it in one chew. The Mac was good. Same with the fries, they gave a very small portion of fries compared to the other sides which I didn't like. As for the cornbread, never again. It tasted like I was eating a cupcake. I couldn't tell if I ordered a cake or cornbread. Very very sugary. Overall, this restaurant is over hyped and semi-expensive. For our first time eating here, we wouldn't order again unless we are hungry desperate. Thank you for having the time to read our review. read more

I have a love-hate relationship with keebooms. The pickup process & delivery times are often outta pocket but the food is so good. I order the whiting platter with yams and mac everytime. The mrs. always gets the fish platter with spinach and rice. Everyone I've put on loves it. It's that Sunday dinner you crave and don't have the energy to make yourself. The portions are generous, the fish is seasoned, and the Mac is baked cheesy perfection. I've only done pickup or delivery from the takeout window. It's easy to identify right on the corner. Rule of thumb: Order before your hunger kicks in. read more
