The reviews for this place are all over the place but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. A lot of ppl recommended the alfredo and it did not disappoint. The Alfredo was creamy, cheesy and well seasoned. I also got a crab platter which was decent, it was what I expected steamed crab legs and old bay. I'm from Houston so I needed a little kick and added crab boil and the crab meat was perfect. The butter is not butter so beware. Portions were good and matched the price. Yes the area is sketchy, the staff isn't that great and the parking is terrible but the food is good! I don't think i have found seafood in the area that is fresh like this and cooked well. I could do without all the butter but they accommodate just about all my requests. It is next door to a crab place that i don't trust i wouldn't go there if you paid me. The food is great! Not so much the service. I called in my order for pick up and asked if they had grilled salmon. The female who took the call told me to go on line, look at the menu and call back. The menu had broiled salmon and when called back the same female answered the phone. I asked her the difference between broiled and grilled, but she seemed irritated by the question and told me that she didn't know. I ordered fried catfish instead. 20 minutes later I arrived to pickup my food. I had to wait another 20 minutes for my food. While waiting, the female who I believe was the one who took my order over the phone, asked me 6 times what my order number. I told her 6 times my number was 58. When my food was ready she asked me my number again and again I told her 58. She asked the young lady who was with her behind the counter to grab the bag. The young lady said "58" and I thought she said "Alfredo". I stood up confused and repeated "alfredo?". The other female became very irritated, snapped at the young lady and ordered her to put my food back behind the counter. She snapped "we're not going to do this and giving you someone else's food because you are saying to many things". She was snapping at me for what I didn't know. She continued to snap at me demanding that I give her my receipt. I handed it to her and she snatched it out my hand, read it and snapped "this is 58". Then she grabbed my bag from behind the counter and slammed it on the counter in front of me. All of this in front of other customers. I apologize to those who read it and were wondering where the rest was. I'm not gonna try to remember everything that was left out, but wanted to at least give you my opinion on the entire experience. Food: In my opinion, stay away from the fried foods. I was not a fan of any of the fried food that I tried. All of the broiled food was delicious. Order from that part of the menu. It was always fresh tasting for me and I didn't feel sick after eating it. The scallops wrapped in bacon is a must try. The broiled seafood platters are also delicious. Ordering: The customer service has not been the best. It is hit or miss. Some of the girls at the counter could care less about what they are doing, and others actually have some decent customer service. Overall, the service is lacking. Especially when they are busy on their cell phones, but I'm here for the food and not the service. Try to order ahead of time and give them 20 minutes to make the food. If you order while you are there, expect to sit and wait for a while. Don't go late at night if you do not want to be offended by the surrounding neighborhood. It is in the "hood" part of East Lansdowne. There's a bar across the street and lots of idiots and drugs in the area. Order your food, pick it up and then leave right away lol ;) read more

Now this place is both in my neighborhood as a purveyor of goods to both EBT and cash paying customers. I have ordered from here several times to which my seafood has been over cooked and my sides undercooked. The very last time that I ordered I called and asked to speak to a manager. Diamond, whose name was on my reciept was incredibly rude and refused to put the manager on the phone. After rereading my order and announcing my payment type, she conceeds that my order will be fixed even though it is about 10:20pm. When my husband arrived, he was not only refused his food, but they attempted to harrass him due to how I needed to handle the rude and callous behavior from Diamond. There was one young man sitting in the corner playing on his phone when we walked in. He did not greet us, we didn't even know he worked there. I was told by a few people that changes had been made and the food was better, so I ordered a couple of days ago and, unfortunately, I was not happy this time either. I came here to pick up a pound of snow crab clusters for my bf as well as seafood salad. I specifically asked does minced garlic, butter etc come with the clusters and they assured me that it did.
