The restaurant is bright and large, with tables to accommodate large and small parties. Comfortable and service is great. The vibe is casual. Do note that they are exceptionally busy during weekend lunch time, and Saturday mornings! Be patient and expect to wait for table, and food. The two times I came was on an early Sunday morning and a Friday morning, and both experiences were fantastic! Neither time was busy yet so we were quickly seated and served. Their food comes in large portions and the food is delicious. I can see how this is a local fave! Definitely better than your typical breakfast chains.

We have been to one other location of Symposium and that was in bad shape. Vegetarian Wrap and Side Greek Salad - was pretty underwhelming. Nothing special, just a bunch of fresh veggies and some dressing. Vegan Beyond Wrap - Again a Beyond Burger with a bun and lettuce tomatoes pickle and onion. No creativity, specialty, or something that one couldn't do at home. The fries were done perfectly.

Came here around lunchtime so grabbed a quick bite to eat got the double Mac blossom as well as the green apple Panini and then some iced coffees. The iced coffees were pretty basic nothing extraordinary, the mac & cheese blossom, though the mac & cheese was rather dry. The blossom was nice and warm and the Panini. I wish the apple slices are a little bit thicker cut, nonetheless fixed the hunger.

The space is a bit older and dated looking, but it is cozy and warm. I finally had the chance to try it out for breakfast recently. Staff are very patient and friendly -- there were the 2 owners and 2 other staff. So all the customers were well taken care of. The restaurant was packed. It's small only a few tables. My friend and I grabbed a seat at the high top table. Their menu was larger than expected for a cafe! Quite a lot of options for sandwiches. We both tried the Breakfast Sandwich -- it's a croissant panini-grilled with 2 poached eggs, cheese, hash brown and choice of bacon or sausage. It was satisfying without being too greasy or oily. I had a regular drip coffee with cream. It was ok! They do have a small coffee menu. Not alternative dairy. Lastly, we tried the Borsch soup! When we learned the owners were Polish, we knew that we had to try the Polish items on the menu. The Borscht was light and fragrant. Loved it so much, we bought a container from their to-go fridge! Will definitely return to try the pirogies and other items too.
