Hot chocolate was da best!!!! Service was friendly. Breakfast was dang yummy! More than made up for the awful hotel breakfast. Pleasant and peaceful dining experience with local art on the walls. Do yourself a favor, come here!

We had a new waitress Nicole and she did a good job. The food was very slow, and my hamburger was burnt to a crisp. It looked like the cook put cheese on top and forgot about it for a while. It was 55 minutes after we ordered a burger and French toast before we received our food. First time visiting and might be the last, too slow and poor food quality.

We decided to give it a try based on recommendations. The wait was about 15 minutes on a Sunday, and then another 30-45 to get our food- not sure if they were having staffing issues in kitchen? Food was excellent as were portion sizes, service was friendly and was a home town vibe inside. Overall would visit again!

This was the first time eating here. There was a 30 minute wait but I expected it. The seating area was comfortable and spacious. The service staff were very pleasant and attentive The food was very tasty, the breakfast blend coffee had a heavy bitter taste but not awful. I will definitely come again to try some of the other menu items.

Sunrise grill is my number one stop for breakfast/ brunch in Boone. We came here a lot when my husband was finishing school so now I make it a point to stop in when we are in the area. This was the best end to a kind weekend in Boone and I can't wait for my return already. Everything I've had from sunrise has been delicious! They always have some great specials too.

A great little breakfast spot! Nothing fancy, just dang good food. Service was friendly and efficient. The specialty Pumpkin Pancakes were incredible as was the Honeynut Latte! The gravy was delicious too. Will definitely return on future trips to the area!

The wait was worth it, arrived early on a Saturday for some great breakfast. We arrived around 0830 and promptly greeted and onto the waitlist, the hostess took my number and was sent a text and a call after 20 minutes. Our waitress Kate was awesome super friendly and had recommendations. There were plenty of options and I chose the Irish Eggs Benedict. Corned Beef Hash with perfectly poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce. I would have liked a bit more corned beef as the "key" ingredient it should have been more focal point.. The ambiance was cool with a great vibe, a great local find. Don't be afraid of the wait.. Happy Dining.

I went in earlier this morning and the place was about half full around 10am (Thursday). A guy named 'Karen' :) started asking for a manager because his family's food was taking too long. They finally got their food as I ordered biscuits and (vegan) gravy and a dark roast coffee. About ten minutes later, the waitress came back and apologized, saying they did not have the gravy. Another table had some type of Benedict, so I ordered that and asked for whatever veggie option they had and hash browns, extra crispy. Another 15 minutes went by and she brought Benedict Florentine and regular hash browns, neither of which were very hot. When she brought the bill it was $28+ I tipped $5 and was getting ready to leave and double check the receipt and they had charged me for both the biscuits and gravy and the eggs bennie. It took another 10 minutes for her to get a manager to remove the biscuit & gravy charge. Quite a long morning just trying to stop in for a quick breakfast. Locals (which I am one) love this place but today was less than stellar so it will be a while before I go back.

Traveling thru town and decided to stop here for breakfast. Glad we did! Had the Ultimate Benedict. Good portion size. Good flavor. So good I couldn't wait to take a good pic so you get to see my empty plate. Had the mocha peanut butter latte too. Yum yum. Also want to add that I like whatever texting app they use for waiting in line to get seated.

The bagels (I got an egg everything) were still somehow flavorless. An everything MUST have salt- it's non negotiable. In lieu of that- adding a touch of salt to the cream cheese would have helped. Salt is not meant to make things salty but to bring out the flavors of the food. Without it- it's one note bland. Pancakes were decent but for a bagel place please make the bagels more edible. Had a decent cream cheese ratio though but because it was all flavorless it didn't really matter. Simple tweak but can probably make this place really solid

There is seating inside and out. Definitely a no frills spot- cutlery is plastic, plates and cups were paper, coffee came in to-go paper cups. The food was fine- nothing special. The bagels didn't taste as homemade as I expected. They did have a large menu and offered a lot of breakfast items- more than just bagels. The service seemed a bit slow for what we ordered, but it looked like a ton of people were waiting in the lobby, so they may get a lot of to-go orders that backed up the kitchen. The waitress was nice!

I was there with a few friends and we made a full day of the spa experience which really makes getting a treatment a great value because you get to enjoy the spa for the whole day. We started off with a workout in the gym and then changed into the soft and plush spa robes to soak up the mountain views in the relaxation room. The relaxation room is amazing - two stories high with bunches of couches and loungers and a fireplace surrounded by a wall of windows over looking the mountains. Oh and there are teas and fruit and magazines and seriously, it is heaven in there. I had a spa facial and even upgraded to include a paraffin wax mask. I've had a number of facials over the years and this was an excellent experience. After the treatments, we had lunch ($20 and worth every penny). Lunch included four small but delicious and beautifully presented courses. Note - you need to reserve lunch ahead of time. After lunch, we changed into bathing suits and relaxed in the heated pool and hot tub until it was getting time to go. Last but definitely not least was a scented shower with everything you need (and more) provided, including some wonderful salt scrub. Westglow Spa is five stars and then some, especially if you come prepared to enjoy all they offer. Come prepared if you want to enjoy the gym and/or pool with workout clothes and your bathing suit!

Although there were only a very few other customers/clients there, the staff seemed very stressed out and was not welcoming. There seemed to be a lot of communication issues between staff and management, and we observed a woman who seemed to be the owner openly yelling a small group in formalwear taking photos and also at the GM. It was extremely unprofessional. I'm very surprised at the lack of warmth and customer service, especially since there are so many other fantastic resorts, spas and venues in the area, like Chetola, Eseeola, and the Inn at Crestwood as competition. I have been to all of the others that I have listed, and had a significantly better experience at each.
