Was craving a doughnut and had been looking for one in the area when I came across sunrise donuts. Love when a place is open 24/7 for my sweet tooth craving. Came in to being greeted and acknowledged by the gentleman (who was manning the fort down so professionally and respectfully). Gave me moment to decide what I wanted and offered to warm up my doughnut. Came out to the patio and enjoyed my doughnuts on the quiet corner where I was comforted by the street cars and people placing their orders. Definitely a place that is a vibe for sure. I drive by this place all the time. I finally stopped in for an apple fritter. It had a nice balance of soft gooey center and crunch on the outside. Today is National Donut Day and this is one of my local donut shops on the way to the office. Recently, I was in here after a long break and asked if they still made cronuts and I was told they do. I haven't had one in some time but if that's what you're seeking, you best get here before 8:00am or call ahead of time. I have not used the drive thru window but it's nice to know you can get donuts 24 hours a day. Staff is really nice, well one particular lady. She has made me a turkey and cheese croissant since one was not already made and she has also added jalapenos for me. read more

There is also TVs, and yes, they have CA Lottery!!! So you can conveniently buy some coffee and a scratcher! Their coffee is DELICIOUS. Ask them to put the cream and sugar for you, it's so good!They use non-dairy coffee creamer, and low calorie sugar. Their Thai Tea is also very good! They have yummy options such as boba smoothies, other fruity drinks, the usual convenient store canned beverages like, Arizonas, Shasta, Calypto, ect, almond cookies, croissants, sandwiches, you name it! Omg I literally just picked up some donuts and let me tell you!!!!!!! They are the beat donuts I have EVER had. They were freshly made all nice and warm at 12am midnight. I've tried about 5 donut places in Long Beach. This one is my favorite so far. Good selection. 24h. The donuts are not greasy at all and they still taste fresh the next day, which is not something that I can say for most donut places! I still need to try a few other donut places around but this is my favorite and the rest isn't great in comparaison. My sister brought me here for a ham and cheese croissant sandwich for breakfast this past Wednesday. We had a lot of errands to run so it made it very convenient that they have a drive thru. The croissant/sub sandwiches are pretty delicious for $5. The ham and cheese croissant is aight; I wish they had a jalapeño and cheese one like a lot of other donut shops, but that's no biggie. The owner (I think he's the owner) is really friendly and accommodating. I stop by at least once a week. They also have convenience items like cigarettes, lottery tickets/scratchers, blunt wraps, etc if you're into those sort of things.
