Cole or his dad have made at least 7 appointments to do the work, and have blown me off each time. He had done other work that was successful, I even paid him $180 in gratuities. Cole is a consummate liar. I will evidently have to go to small claims court to get my money back. I need that to take it somewhere ethical and reliable, but I don't think the part will last that long.

I will certainly use him again.

In that price he also promised that he will do diagnosis of P0524 code, which he did but absolutely wrong way. He removed the oil pressure valve and cleaned it and put it back since he could not find the new part in the area which is fine but it was not valve it was just oil pressure sensor. Any simple mechanic would first try to find oil pressure sensor not the valve its different thing. And Yes he took it back that new oil and filter with him and never changed. I thought he will charge me less since he said i dont need to have new oil and change because it was good. I was predicting he is trying to save my money by not having oil and filter because the issue is something else but guess what?? i was wrong. After he finished diagnosis told me it will be $300 ( he barely spent one hour ), I called him in regular hour not afterhours like midnight or early morning. I would strongly suggest please find another mechanic if you get stranded dont use his service. Money minded greedy person. Since i dont want to argue with him on that day i quitly paid $300, he just cleared the code thought he actually made fix but i was wrong, check engine light came back as soon as we hit mountain. I checked with other local shop in Redding CA and he was able to figure out actual issue, he did diagnosis and changed the oil pressure sensor very reasonable price and car was fixed. again dont go by his fake google reviews, think before anyone contact him. Has no shame getting your money.

I was up visiting in grants pass when all of a sudden, a terrible noise was coming from the front right of my engine bay. Not knowing the exact cause, had my suv towed into Tom's early on a Monday. By Monday afternoon they knew what was wrong, had the part is stock and could get me back on the road by end of the next day. They were even complete early and upon pickup, the tech showed me the broken fan from the radiator fan assembly that was basically wobbling away making quite the ruckus. I am so thankful that Tom's was helpful, knowledgeable and quick. They did come highly recommended by some friends so I'm glad I trusted them. If needed, will definitely take vehicles back to Tom's.

Luckily we were able to keep control enough to coast down the offramp at grants Pass. It was hot and lonely there on the side of the freeway and I was thinking there is no way this trip is going to continue. We started calling for tow trucks and mechanics, but on a Saturday I I had very low expectations and was assuming that I would be spending the weekend and Moore in Grants Pass. After making several unanswered phone calls, I finally had luck when I called Jesse's automotive not only did Robert answer his phone on a Saturday it was minutes before closing! I can tell you from experience that no Mechanic enjoys working on a motorhome and even less so minutes before closing on a Saturday Somehow, Robert was able to get the parts and changed out the serpentine belt! While he was digging through this mess on a hot engine, he noticed that the radiator had developed some cracks and pointed them out to me. I thought for sure I would be spending the weekend in grants Pass waiting for him to open on Monday. I was wrong. That saint of a man started calling around, looking for a radiator before the parts stores closed. Stayed well past dark completing our repairs. I highly recommend Robert and his business to anybody looking for a highly skilled (and compassionate) mechanic. Thank you Robert! You went above and beyond for my family and I. Thank you!

ZERO STARS. BEWARE OF THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND DEALERSHIP…read more I am extremely disappointed and angry about my experience here. What should have been a straightforward, free recall repair turned into a situation where I was suddenly being asked to pay $4,800 for a transmission failure that occurred immediately after this dealership had possession of and driven my vehicle. I brought my car here specifically to have a recall addressed. The dealership completed the recall work and returned my vehicle to me. Shortly afterward, I contacted them because something was clearly wrong with the car. They came and picked it up, and that is when I was told I suddenly needed a new transmission. Here is what makes this situation even more concerning: when I questioned how a vehicle that was functioning properly before the recall appointment could suddenly require a transmission immediately afterward, I was told there was no documentation showing the condition of my vehicle when they initially received it or when they returned it to me. That lack of documentation is incredibly troubling. I spoke with CLARK, who identified himself as the service department manager. The customer service I received from him was unacceptable. I called approximately 10 times trying to get a response. I left messages, and on multiple occasions I was transferred directly to him, only for him to pick up the receiver and hang up rather than address the situation. When we finally spoke, Clark acknowledged that my position--that the vehicle had been fine before the dealership had it--was reasonable, but said he needed to speak with the employees who had handled my vehicle and review what happened. According to him, however, no one could remember my vehicle or what had happened to it. Big surprise. I was then told that transmissions can fail unexpectedly and that it was simply a "strange coincidence" that mine failed after the dealership had driven and serviced the vehicle. Maybe transmissions do fail unexpectedly, but given the timing, the lack of documentation, and the fact that my vehicle was functioning perfectly before I brought it in, I find that explanation extremely difficult to accept. The dealership initially wanted to charge me $4,800 to repair the transmission. After I pushed back, they suddenly "found a discount" and reduced the price to $2,800. That is not a minor inconvenience. That is a $2,800-$4,800 financial burden that I was left with after bringing my vehicle in for a recall repair that was supposed to cost me nothing. The entire experience left me feeling that I was being held financially responsible for a problem that occurred while my vehicle was in their possession, while simultaneously being given little documentation, little accountability, and virtually no customer service. I strongly recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else. Based on my experience, I would not trust this dealership with my vehicle again, and I certainly would NOT purchase a vehicle here. If you value your vehicle, your money, and being treated with basic honesty and respect, think twice before doing business here.
